Hi,
Anyone know how I can get the softkeys on my 'Nexus 7 2013' to show on the right side when in landscape mode?
Many thanks!

Hi ... does anyone know how to activate landscape mode on a XDA 2s? I went to Settings -- System -- Screen but could not find any controls there.
landscape mode
just press the O2 button on ur keyboard!
Yep it worked! I had to do a hard reset though before I got that button to work. Something must have messed up my registry settings. Thanks a pile!
Does anyone use landscape as default? What do you think the advantages are?
I'm too used to using portrait I guess, but I suppose browsing web pages might be better in landscape...
I think the today screen looks better in portrait, unless there is an app that lets you split things into two verticle columns? Quick start buttons and info down the left and appointments down the right or something?
Hi guys,
Sorry I don't know such of the problem can be posted to somewhere.
I bought a nexus 7 2013 in this week. When I use it with landscape mode, touching the soft keys are a little inconvenient, since they are in centered position of the bar. Thus I want to know are there some solution I can adjust the soft keys to the left side of the bar, to become more easier to press them.
Thank you.
If you are rooted, Auto Hide Softkey works pretty well...
You can download a new Rom such as AOKP that supports tablet mode, where it combines the status and navigation into one bar. Nav keys on the left and clock/icons on the right.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
So something that's always bugged me about how Android currently handles the navbar, on a phone, if you go into landscape mode, the navbar stays in the same position as in portrait mode. This makes sense, as you'll be holding it from the sides.
Is there a way to make a tablet do this, via kernal mod or something better? Having the navbar on the bottom, especially on a Nexus 7, doesn't make sense for a 7" tablet.
Help would be appreciated

This app won't work. Plus I find it a bit of a messy solution if it were to. I don't want to hide the navbar, I simply want to move it to the right, or left, side of the screen.
Ultimate Dynamic Navbar and GMD do have the option to move the navbar to the right when in landscape mode but it also disappear .
Hello guys, i was wondering if it was possible to move the 3 buttons horizontally in landscape mode. So you will need to swipe from down to up in landscape and not right To left... Like in the nexus 7 for example. I find it pretty disturbing to have it on the right lol. Thank you for your answers.

I would be interested too if you found a solution ...
I recently bought a Nexus 2013 (6.0.1) to use it as car headunit but i have a problem with the navbar. The navbar in landscape mode is at the bottom of the screen. Because of the dash design the bottom of the screen it will not be easy accessible from the driver seat after installation (landscape mode).
I am looking for a way to move the navigation bar on the side (as it appears on phones ui) or even better at the top of the screen (inside the status bar) but I dont know how...
Could somebody help me with this?
Some help please...
