My watch is stuck on the Sony logo. I can't even power it down. If I hold the power button down for 10 seconds it will vibrate once and the scree goes off but the sony logo comes back on almost immediately whether I continue to hold the power button or release it.
Obvioiusly I cant access flashmode or fastboot mode so it would seem I am stuck. Anyone else encountered this and maybe found a solution?
Managed to get it fixed. Used a different computer & internet connection which seemed to allow the update to download. Watch was still borked as I could only occasionally to boot to flashmode and I think the battery was very low. It would update a little then error out because the battery would die. I'd then have to recharge it a little and restart the update. It took 3 or 4 of these update/die/recharge cycles but eventually it went through and its up and working again.

just received my new zl. tried to turn it on to test it out, felt the vibrate but the screen is black. i suspect the battery is dead and needs a good charge. i plugged it into the charger but no lights or indication that it's charging. did the same thing by plugging it into the pc and again nothing. is this normal? do i have to wait a few hours for the battery to charge up? or do i have a lemon ?
i hope to god this is normal. returning this for a warranty will be a major hassle as it was sourced internationally.
alright, i've managed to get the notification light blinking green but nothing shows up on the screen. figured it was off and just charging, i tried to turn it on but nothing happens. so i tried i the volume up + power button trick whilst the light is blinking green and it turns solid blue, but the screen is still off. i believe i'm in fastboot mode now. when i plug it into the pc and repeat the steps, windows recognises the fastboot mode but it can't install drivers for it (i've got pc companion installed). what the hell is going on?
update. plugging it into the pc and doing a light reboot (holding the back off button for 5 secs with 1 vibration) allows the pc to briefly recognise it. it does this for a sec or 2 and disconnects it. and then it will continue doing this on a loop. is this a boot loop? i'm trying to make it so that the phone can stay connected to the pc for a few minutes, enough time for me to flash the rom using flashtool, PCC, or SUS. but because it's connecting and disconnecting, i can't do anything.
so at the moment, this is what i have figured. i'm stuck in a boot loop with a battery that is dead. anyone got any ideas?

The only thing that I could think is that the phone is under warranty which Sony will able to replace it.

Hola! Last night my phone freezed for a few seconds before shutting down. I tried to reboot with no luck. No buttons combos no charghing, nothing, not even the red led that use to blink when it happened before after shutting down. The battery was low then ,about 15% and shut down but I managed to get it working . Now I had the same percentage ,around 15-30% on battery. I let it charge for about 10 mins and then tried booting again. Power+ vol up booted and showed "Download mode" . I don't know if it was me or the phone itself but it booted and Google appeared. Then Those circles appeared and after a few moments the have frozen and the phone shut down. Attempted again with no luck. I unplugged it and let the matter for today. This morning I again tried to boot up ,after a few attempts it booted but only got the Google screen before it shut down again... I let it charge for about 2 hours but still no luck with it. Connected it to the PC ,got the sound of a new device then the error sound and message of the driver. Disconnected and connected again and I got only the driver error sound without the new device sound if I don't change the port. Interesting is that if I press any button combination or just power while connected to the computer, after about 20 seconds of pressing I get the sound of disconnected and/or driver error. That gives me hope that it's not dead at all.. Might the battery be the cause? Replacing it would be a cheaper solution without losing data...Opinions? Tips? I had 3 different dreams in which I solved the problem...but the reality is a nightmare ( Heeeelp
Well it still shows signs of litttle life: If I let it without pressing anthing ,just leave it alone for a night or more and try to boot i,the red led flashes so I plug it right away get to the battery charging screen and that's i...I still hope it's because of the battery thinking hat the battery regenerates but cannot hold for too long.
My Oneplus 3 is currently facing the worst form of boot loop. The phone keeps looping until it drains all of its battery.
This phone has been running like a tank for the last 4 years. When this issue began, it had 75% of the battery at the time. The phones Power button menu got automatically triggered and phone was restarted (all within 5 seconds) and ever since its stuck in a boot loop.
Below is the current scenario
Power off button has no effect, the phone keeps looping since then
Vol+ enters fastboot but I can't select anything, looping continues after 2 secs or so (Device state: LOCKED)
Vol- has the effect that the looping stops as long as I hold the button. After releasing that button the loop pauses for let's say 10secs and the loop continues. Otherwise no effect.
Power & Vol- buttons pressed together leads to a PIN unlock screen after the boot screen, I enter the pin, hit OK and as the Decryption begins.....we are back to boot loop
when plugged to power connection: loop cycle seems to be larger, loop occurs every 10 secs. in between the phone stays off
when the power becomes low, the boot loop continues but with the 'Battery too low' screen and the loops continue until the battery completely drains out
When I hold both the Volume buttons and connect to the PC via USB, the phone establishes a short connection for a few seconds. Not a stable connection, it showed "QHUSB_BULK" port in the device manager and I was able to somehow install the Qualcomm driver.
Post that when I connect, it directly shows a "Qualcomm HS USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5)" in the Device manager but the connection only lasts for a few seconds as the boot loop continues.
The MSM tool detected the connection a couple of times but since the connection only lasted for a few seconds, the tool wasn't able to anything.
I have scoured over the forums for a similar scenario, haven't found any.
Look, the phone has had its fair share of drops and falls over the years and it withstood it all. And this issue happened when I was casually browsing on chrome. I don't know what to say ...Please help!!

Check your power button. I think that it might be stuck in the 'on' position. If you have a case/cover for the phone, remove it and check.
You may also have to open up the phone for checking.
Otherwise, may be a motherboard issue.
Hold the buttons longer.
Try again but don't release until the tool is properly running.

I had the same. The power button broke. He was pressed all the time. Using tape and foil, I changed the contacts with vol + before the new button came.
I am facing the same issue , any solution ?
Update: while I moved on to a new phone, I tried turning on the OP3 once again after 8 months and miraculously the boot loop had somehow stopped and it let me enter the fastboot recovery manager. But my power button is still not functioning so couldn't do much in there.
So while in fastboot mode I connected my phone to the computer and via ADB did a "fastboot reboot" which restarted my phone normally.
Right now..
Power button is dead, so a virtual power button is used, the alert slider is also dead for some reason, so a virtual volume controller.
Whenever my phone shuts down due to empty battery juice or another unknown cause I have to restart it via the ADB fastboot method mentioned above. Other than that the phone works fine.
Last Saturday night my Verizon S8+ suddenly began to freeze. It would do it with many different applications so I don't feel it is associated with one in particular. It then would restart and would hang at the Samsung splash screen. I was able to boot into maintenance mode and then select safe mode. It would boot to safe mode and would function as expected but then without warning restart again. I took the phone in to a local repair shop who said it could be the battery. Replaced the battery and it seemed to work but then started the boot loop again. Since the battery didn't fix the issue I did get a refund. At any rate after letting the phone sit on the wireless charger overnight it did appear to have fully charged and I was able to boot it up normally. There are some pictures that I needed to get off the phone so I plugged it in to my PC and started copying files over. After about 3 minutes it restarted on it's own and the whole boot loop process again. Now be aware that I know just enough about what I'm doing to be dangerous so here is what transpired next. I started pushing a combination of the power button, the bixby button and the volume up and down buttons and managed to get into the downloading a custom OS menu (see attachment 1) I didn't feel comfortable with this so the screen clearly said if you want to download a custom OS press the volume up key otherwise press the volume down key to cancel. Well I must have fat thumbed the volume down key and by accident pressed the volume up key. Upon rebooting it tried to perform a software update but would give an error message file not found. After several attempts to bypass this screen with a combination of pushing the buttons I was able to boot the phone into recovery mode (see attachment 2) and that is where it is right now. Good news is it hasn't tried to reboot so obviously it in a boot area ahead of whatever was causing the issue to begin with. I also note that the blue charge light indicator seems to be glowing from dim to bright as if I am charging the phone but I don't have the cable connected. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I am hopeful that one of you Android technical gurus could advise me of a way to recover the functionality of my phone through this menu? I have attached a couple of screen shots relevant to my issue. Please help and thank you in advance for any assistance.

So this morning my Razer Phone was all fine until it suddenly vibrates twice then the screen goes blank while in my pocket. I once thought it was just ran out of battery so i left it charging for a moment. When i tried to turn it back on, the phone only vibrates once and the screen turns on but appears blank. Even the razer boot logo doesn't shows up. After few seconds the phone comes back turned off.
The charging port is fine so are the charging cable and the adapter. Power button, fingerprint, volume button are all working normally. I also can feel a little heat on the phone while charging just like usual. I think the hardware seems to be just fine. I've tried to get into the recovery mode by holding down power and volume up button for 7-15 seconds but didn't work. It only brings it into the 'blank screen' again like when i'm trying to boot it up before.
I don't know how could this happened all of sudden, i never did anything fancy to it apart from playing games, using apps and such.
Any help would be appreciated.
There maybe two reasons there is a bug with you droid or apps & services running tho or an app or a mod you installed corrupted your systen
did it reboot in recovery or fastboot
u can try to boot to bootloader on PC , turn off your phone then plug in PC by cable, hold volume down + power button to boot to bootloader .
