So yeah before anything usually I would yes flash stock via Odin latest version and boot check oem unlock and USB debugging after enabling developer settings . Then put rom's on your internal as well as a kernel if you want whatever files you would use . Then boot download mode and before flashing twrp uncheck auto reboot in odin so when passed Odin flashing twrp do download mode key function to turn off phone and right when it turns off boot into recovery twrp and do your wipes and factory resets without internal wipe and install the rom and it might boot loop once but sometimes it will take a while to boot on Samsung logo but goes well after

I have flashed this rom last night and I have not seen any errors or fc's at all.
It works perfectly.
It's very important to be sure you are on the Marshmallow 6.0 firmware
or baseband before flashing. That's one of the main reasons for error 7.
A full wipe including factory reset, wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
before flashing is also very important in order to get the the best results.
Have a great day!

Install International 4.3 ROM on Chinese N7100

Hurrrrrrrayy!!
With many tries, I have successfully installed Android 4.3 (4.3 ROM_INU-N7100XXUEMK4-20131119175336) in a Chinese N7100,
with working Wi Fi.
I would like to share, as how I did it. Here's the step by step procedure. This procedure needs lot of your time & sufficient:
1. First backup current ROM using CWM/TWRP. ( Better to be safe)
2. Download Chinese 4.3 stock ROM (CHN-N7100ZCUEMK3) from:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=21968
3. Also download India 4.3 stock ROM from : http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=21880
4. Extract both zip files & keep .tar.md5 files ready.
5. Get your phone to download mode, by pressing Volume down button+home button+power button
6. Connect your phone to PC. Open Odin 3.07
7. Select PDA tab & select the MK3.tar file & click start
8. Make sure that "Auto Reboot" & "F.Reset time" options are selected.
9. Wait for the firmware to get installed.
10. The phone will restart successfully. You will find that Wi Fi will be working fine.
11. Now step to root the phone.
12. Download the F-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip from: http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip.
14. Extract the zip file & get .tar file
15. This time use Odin V1.85
16. Select CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar in PDA tab @ click start.
17. Now the phone will restart with rooted. Don't open Super SU file.
18. Now it's time to update Super SU file with V1.80 version. You will not have pay store working.
So you have to install apk file from here --> http://download.chainfire.eu/370/
19. Put the super SU.apk file, in you SD card & install. ( make sure that install from unknown sources is selected)
20. Restart the phone
21. Now time to install Mobile Odin.apk file (You can get Mobile odin.apk from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899)
22. After the mobile odin is installed, open the file. It will ask for superuser permission. Press Grant. Then Mobile odin will download
some additional files. Let the download get completed.
23. Put "N7100XXUEMK4.tar" file in ext SD card.
24. Install .tar file using mobile odin. In this step select "Enable ever root", "Inject Super User",
"Inject Mobile Odin", "Wipe data and cache", "Wipe Dalvik Cache" options.
Now India 4.3 will get installed successfully & mobile will restart.
25.Superuser SU will not work. Don't panic.
26. Restart the phone in to download mode & repeat step 15 & 16
27. Now phone will restart, go to play store, update Super SU V1.80.
28. Open Super SU file, now the KNOX will be blocked by super SU.
That's it. You have successfully installed international (India) version Android 4.3 in Chinese Note II (N7100).
I am not expert, at the same time I am not a Noob. I just repeated the steps which I followed & decided to share with others,
so that it would help every one.
Don't forget THANKS button, if this procedure have helped you. Feel free to share with your friends too.
Re steps 18 and 21 - would you mind posting links for the files as dont see signature. thank you

Hi, I have provided the links, from where you can download, Super SU.apk & Mobile Odin.apk files.
mnr336: you made good job, man. Thanks!
However did anybody tried to install any custom rom? Eg Ditto Note3? I tried - and can not...
And I wanted to have N3 features..
spansih
does this rom has spanish? any other rom with the same kind of modem with spanish?
@mnr336
after selecting india stock rom from mobile odin - did u select all the areas of tar files presented ?? kernel, recovery etc. etc. OR u skip any of the parts ?
coz after selecting default choice offered by mobile odin n7100 goes to boot cycle. Mine is also a genuine but CH region specific Note2.
What option did you select in Mobile Odin... You should click on "Open file" option. Then in the pop up screen select the internal or external card. Select the .tar file. In the pop up screen click 'check sum'. The firmware will get installed automatically. Now I am in Android KitKat 4.4.2 updated using mobile Odin.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thanks for the quick reply.
Reboot Cycle prob was resolved after selecting REBOOT NORMAL option in Mobile odin.
Then I started again from scratch.
Loaded chinese file using odin - rooted with cf root - new supersu apk file - all good - now mobile odin pro v4.20 - Open india stock tar file from there..
i ve put that file in external sd card. Selected - Tick all the options u suggested including wipe data wipe cache.
Problem Part:
Now if i select tick AUTOMATIC ACTION option (after flash) in mobile odin menu - it flashes a couple of files on screen then - phone reboots - a temp recovery screen comes - says one by one all area flashed then it comes to the same LOOP.
Secondly...
IF i select REBOOT Normal in mobile odin - phone flashes a couple of files - reboots - a temp recovery screen - says some parts flashes ok- phone comes to normal screen. BUT i can not notice any change in ABOUT screen. IT shows same old stock chinese rom details.
I want to have default google apps on this chinese note2 daemon.
i m not able to figure out where the exact problem is.
Can you send me the screen shots of Mobile Odin 4.20, before flash. By the way, I am using Mobile Odin 4.00.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Problem was solved. I was using a 2GB External MMC to load the file - instead i used a 8GB and it was great in the end.
Grateful for your personal interest. Thanks & br

Hi, I have also upgraded to Android 4.4.2. First upgrade to 4.3, as explained in my earlier post.
Then, Just use Mobile Odin to upgrade to 4.4.2. You will have WiFi working.
Note: UI is 4.4.2 is as smooth as silk.
I get stuck at step 19. I try to install the SuperSU but it says not installed. Is it because I already have superSU installed? I decided to skip the step since i have it installed and I installed the mobileODIN but it cannot detect my phone.

Heres my problem. I need mobileODIN pro to wipe stuff... what do I do if i don't want to pay?
Last question I swear...
Knox is too powerful for me... I can't get superSU to beat knox... what do I do... lol...
I tried to follow the guide. when i go to play store, there's no update, just says superSU is installed. And I can't launch superSU
Also, I just went into the phone and manually wiped the stuff and then flashed it using mobileODIN without using the in app wipes.
I just ignored that ROM and went ahead to install another ROM and its working perfectly fine. You are the man/woman, i don't actually know you lol... so you could be either. But superSU is still not working... -.-
Sigh... I have no baseband and null for imei... any ideas???

I think there is necessary update of your procedure..
1. mobile odin available at your link is lite version - I tried and have to give up - while I was unable to find necessary additional files (all those in thread shown by you did not work).
I would like to support author of odin pro - but with this chinese version I can not use google play - so I needed to download "inlegal" copy of odin pro to start it work.
2. supersu - needs to be loaded from CWM menu (?? - i mean this which you can enter with vol up+home+power at startup). and newer version is available here http://download.chainfire.eu/636/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.37.zip

[GUIDE][KitKat][CM11] Updating to 4.4

This is a GUIDE for all those who are having questions about updating to KiKat
READ TILL THE LAST LINE ALL POSSIBLE FIXES ARE HERE ONLY
THIS WILL BE UPDATED REGULARLY
Link for the thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515036
POST YOUR PROBLEMS HERE AND IF IT DOESN'T GET SOLVED HERE THEN POST IN ABOVE THREAD B'COZ THE DEV THREAD IS GETTING ACCUMULATED BY PROBLEMS ONLY.....AND MANY OF THEM ARE REPEATED ONE SO KINDLY SEARCH FOR YOUR PROBLEM AND THEN POST HERE YOU MAY NOT BE THE FIRST TO HAVE THAT PROBLEM
NEW UPDATE METHOD BY @TJKV (Date 15.Dec.13)
(THIS METHOD DOES NOT REQUIRE UPDATE TO CM10)
1. ROOT YOUR DEFY USING FRAMAROOT
2. INSTALL 2ndInit FROM HERE
3. INSTALL THE NEW RECOVERY FROM HERE
you can skip the above two steps if you already running a custom ROM and follow 3rd and 4th step
4. NOW INSTALL THE KITKAT CM11 DIRECTLY
actual post by @TJKV : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48501247&postcount=1250
1. This is the obvious thing......you must have the build in your PC, best will be place it in your SDcard:good:
don't worry if you don't have one you can get it from here
http://defy.bytekiste.de/
2. Now try to get the GApps since in the thread you won't get the GApps i'm giving the link here only
get the Gapps from here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
3. Now you have both Gapps and the build itself now what?.....
you need an updated recovery...
If you are on CM10, CM10.1, CM10.2, you can directly update the recovery, Now you are thinking I'm not on CM10/10.1/10.2 what should I do?
Answer: you need to get to CM10 at least.
here is the link for that also
CM10: http://defy.bytekiste.de/cm10-2ndboot-nightly-defy(+)/
for updating Recovery you'll get the .zip from here:
http://defy.bytekiste.de/cm11-nightly-defy+/update-recovery.zip
ABOVE STEP NO LONGER NEEDED NOW FOLLOW THE STEPS GIVEN AT START OF THE LINK IN GREEN TEXT
4. Now as you have all the tools you need. place all the above .zip file in you Defy/Defy+
# Updating Recovery: Go to recovery Mode in TWRP its better to wait for at least 30Sec after entering in recovery this waiting will ensure that your device won't Reboot when you are working in it. After update, reboot your device it is not necessary but it is okay to have one. DON'T ENTER IN SYSTEM GOTO TO RECOVERY AGIAN
# Installing CM11 : As of now you are in Recovery mode wipe the DATA, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE. Now install the zip as you do normally i.e. finding the zip in SDcard and hitting install zip.
#Installing GApps: After completing installation get on to home in select INSTALL ZIP now select the GApps file from the SDcard.
5. Final Step now again wipe the phone THIS IS ALSO NOT NECESSARY but just for safety.
FIRST BOOT MAY TAKE LONG TIME YOU MAY FEEL THAT IT STUCK ON CM LOGO BUT ITS NOT THE THING SO BE PATIENT TILL YOU GET TO THE HOME SCREEN
NOTE: SOMETIMES IT MAY HAPPEN THAT EVEN AFTER FOLLOWING THE STEP YOU GET ERROR THIS IS BECAUSE YOUR DOWNLOAD FILE IS BROKEN SO BETTER CHECK THE [MD5SUM] YOU CAN CHECK THE MD5SUM FROM ES-FILE EXPLORER
# IN FILE PROPERTIES CLICK ON "CHECKSUM"
# THIS WILL GIVE YOU A NEW MENU THERE YOU CHECK ON MD5SUM AND HIT CALCULATE
# NOW CHECK THAT YOUR CHECKSUM IS EQUAL TO THAT OF THE ONE AVAIL ON LINK
KNOWN ISSUES AND THEIR SOLUTIONS/REASONS:
1. "OK GOOGLE" NOT WORKING.
# THIS IS BECAUSE DEFY/DEF+ DON'T HAVE THE OFFLINE SPEECH RECOGNITION.
TO GET THAT WORKING FOLLOW THIS
2. I AM NOT HAVING NETWORK NOW BUT IT WAS PRESENT ON FIRST BOOT OF CM11.
# TRY TO TOGGLE THE AIRPLANE MODE. if it doesn't come after that also then flash a file from HERE
3. WHY THE VERY LEFT HOME SCREEN IS NOT THE GOOGLE NOW SCREEN?
# THE LAUNCHER IS NOT THE ORIGINAL "GOOGLE EXPERIENCE LAUNCHER[GEL]" IT IS A MOD FROM CM.
4. I AM GETTING FORCE CLOSE [FC] WHEN I SWITCH TO ART MODE
# ART IS NOT YET READY FOR DAILY USAGE SO STICK TO THE DALVIK ONLY
[ for difference between ART and DALVIK see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529528 ]
5. WHERE IS THE DEVELOPER OPTION IN CM11?
#GOTO ABOUT PHONE AND TAP 7 TIMES ON THE BUILD NUMBER THIS WILL ACTIVATE THE DEV MODE.
6. EXCEPT HOME KEY OTHER KEYS ARE NOT WORKING
# YOU NEED TO FLASH AGAIN ONLY THIS CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT IF YOU WANT YOU CAN TRY ONLY WIPING DATA/CACHE.
7. Mx player not working on cm11
# this is not related to cm11, for the time being mx player is not supported by kitkat. Wait for the mx player update
MX PLAYER IS NOW UPDATED
8. IS THIS BUILD SUPPORT OTG?
# YES (NOT BY DEFAULT) BUT ONLY WIRELESS MOUSE AND KEYBOARD ARE WORKING SINCE THEY REQUIRE LESS CURRENT IN SOME CASES USB STICK ARE ALSO RUNNING
GET THE OTG FROM HERE
9. WHY IS YOUTUBE VIDEOS LOOKING CHOPPY?
#DISABLE YOUTUBE FROM THE HWA THIS WILL FIX IT

############################################2014 Nightlies############################################
Since I missed out with so many nightly update following bugs and workaround are referred form @okij 's buglist
>Setup wizard crashes:
1) As a workaround, after flashing only the nightly (i.e. without gapps) do the first boot and then flash gapps after the first boot. If updating from a previous nightly, setup wizard isn't executed and so the bug doesn't occur again.
2) (having gapps already installed) is as follows: When in setup wizard scroll down the status bar, then touch on the date, it will send you to sign on Google, after you sign just reboots and wizard will works just fine. Note: it needs Mobile data to be on by the time you boot your device
3) remove SetupWizard.apk from the gapps package
>Dialer doesn't go into landscape mode when Defy is in car holder: Use third Party if you need that feature.
>Wifi does not return after long sleep (> $timeout minutes) when configured to sleep when screen is dark: Workaround use WiFi timeout app from Google play store
Enjoy Happy Androiding
I hope this is helpful
HIT THANKS !
Thanks for the guide..!!!
In some posts in original thread, I noticed some users suggesting to go boot device before flashing Gapps and than reboot to recovery and than flash Gapps.
Is there no use of doing it that way ?
And I am unable to get wifi working on my device since Quarx shifted to the new Wifi drivers after 0703 CM10 build.
I have defy MB526.
None of CM10, 10.1, 10.2 or CM11 build i have tried has made wifi to work...!!!
Can you suggest on this ?

No need to boot into it..... That was because earlier the build wasn't that stable so just to check that it's running or not. That's y ppl suggest to boot in w/o gaaps... But now as this is nearly daily driver now you don't need that step.
For wifi I can't say much because haven't heard much about it meanwhile you try the advance wifi settings and change the region attaching the screenshot....

Thanks for the guide, but is it really necessary to send people with problems installing the ROM to the development thread to derail it with questions not related to development? I thought it would be better to just tell them to ask here and wait for people to reply and help them.

Custom recovery not working any more
Dear XDA,
I was trying to update from CM10.
I've flashed update-recovery.zip and BAH - only stock recovery works. No need to say stock recovery does not allow custom ROMs
The device work fine with CM10 (cm-10-20131030-NIGHTLY) except RIL bug, but reboots while trying to access TWRP.
I want KitKat.
Must i start ftrom SBF, or There Is Another Way?

You should read the OP I did mention that you need to wait for at least 20sec if you start working with it as u enter in TWRP it will reboot....
If you are on CM10 and updated the recovery then check if it's version is 2.6.3.x.. So its updated then you can flash CM11....no need to start from SBF

I did it a couple of days before this thread appeared
I'm unable to verify the version of recovery. Neither from recovery mode, nor from the TWRP app.
So, SBF ?

In TWRP on top right corner you can see the version since u can't get into it.... So, sadly yes you need to start from SBF again.

Hello, at the moment a am on 2.2.2 froyo android. I need kitkat. This will be my first upgrade android system, so if i understand, first i must install this http://defy.bytekiste.de/cm10-2ndboot-nightly-defy(+)/
My motorola is DB525 but on this link is only for defy+?
I try to instal cm10-2 but in recovery mode i dont have option "Install from SD card". If there some other options?
Hi.
I had this problem too. It is happening, because your system partition is full. Masbe you installed the full gapps? The solution is, in bootmenu, mount system, than in your computer extract update twrp zip, and owerwrite the files in /bootmenu with the proper ones. If you can't do it (because the free space), than remove some apk's.

as far as i can get you...
you have installed 2nd init in your defy which is at 2.2.2
do this..

EDIT: as @cyrusct82 said you can also follow that procedure by @TJKV that will be easy but it may b hard if you are really new to flashing.....i'll try to update the guide accordingly in a easy manner....

Hi Hazard, tks for the kit. Before I proceed I would like to clarify exact steps to go from stock 4.2.2 to KK+root+PhilZrecovery.
In previous 1.3 thread I saw a post :
you must flash these
1- rom.zip
2- KitKat BaseBand
3- Patched Kernels
4- UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
So, I've downloaded "rom" plus KKbaseband+Patched kernel and Super SU 1.93.
I've looked to your runme.bat and I'm a bit confused: is option 5) From zero to a custom ROM and Kernel suppose to do all the work ? I do not see on the script any part to install the patched kernel.
Would this be the steps ?
Prior: copy ROM.zip and patched kernel to phone/sdcard
1 - from kit menu 2) Root
2 - from kit menu 6) Change baseband
3 - install PhilZ recovery from kit menu 1) Install Recovery
reboot to recovery
4 - flash ROM.zip (any wipes ?)
5 - flash patched kernel
reboot and hopefully KK+root+recovery
Thanks for your help
I seek your assistance here. Currently I'm in stock KK 4.4.2. I would like to downgrade back to KK 4.2.2 as wish to install some custome rom for 4.4.2. How am I proceed from here. Possible?

Samsung Note II N7100 International will not boot up

Hi All,
For the past few weeks (6 weeks) I had performed 3 phone factory resets. It was my first time having had to perform a factory reset due to the malfunctions in key applications such as Play Store, Clock, etc, which began to stop working. My initial reset was due to "Unforuntately Clock has stopped.", where my second was due to Play Store, and my third being process.system. This sudden requirement to perform this many resets, in order for my phone to operate normally for a week or two, before I had to reset it again had me believe something was wrong with my phone.
It was until last Saturday my phone was working. My phone had froze, causing me to force shut down and reboot. However, unfortunately, it didn't reboot back up -ever. The phone hung on the first Samsung splash screen "Samsung Galaxy Note II - N7100". It stayed like this for well over half a hour, where I tried again, and still, the splash screen stayed.
After doing some research on the web, forums and articles advised for a wipe / factory reset through Recovery mode by holding VolUp+Home+Power, which I tried. But unfortunately errors messages appeared.

Additional info:
I tried plugging my phone into my computer and run Kies, but my phone couldn't be picked up.
This phone is a Samsung Note II International phone which I had grey-imported, where unfortunately it will be difficult for me to get it locally serviced without paying.
This phone is not rooted.
I am able to go into both recovery and download mode on the phone.
I hope that you guys can help me get this phone up and running again.
Many thanks!

Looks like internal sdcard died or invalid partitions. Try Emergency Repair/flash with Kies. Good luck!

Sorry, i'm confused to which ROM i should be flashing. I tried the ROM which mezo91 provided, and other ROMs (from China, and Hong Kong; because I believe the phone was from there), and it still didn't work.
Is there a specific stock ROM you could recommend me? Perhaps a link to it?
Thanks!

Is your device still under warranty?
Do you use knox container or will use it?
If no, then I recommend you flash a custom recovery as stated, download a custom rom, choose one which is as close to stock as possible, I recommend omega rom it is closest to stock. And try to see if it boots.
Can you do that by yourself?
If not, send me a private message and I can help you from there and send you links in order your devoce to boot and be working again.
Or I can say here anyway. But I will tell you to choose the same recovery I use and send you links for it.

If you plan to get a new phone and throw this one bcuz dead then follow this I will give all links at bottom. Lets try boot this note 2 up^^
1. Download twrp recovery, download the tar.md5 file. In their download links there is no tar.md5. So we will flash a cwm recovery bcuz it is .tar.md5. Then through cwm we will flash twrp.zip recovery.
Why I need .tar.md5.? Bcuz we need first to flash through odin.
2. After custom recovery is setup and I will assume it worked. We will need to put the custom rom on the external sd card. We make a full wipe. Then we will flash it.
3. Assuming everything went ok it should boot.

http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/t03g/openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.2-t03g.zip
http://omegadroid.co/samsung-galaxy-note-2-n7100/
These are the links.
What you will do as follows. Do every step to ensure it flashed.
1. Flash the cwm.tar.md5 ( first link) in the AP in odin, make sure auto reboot UNCHECKED.
2. After it finish you yourself will disconnect note 2 from pc and force it into recovery mode by pressing vol up+ home+ power button.
2. If it booted into recovery fine. You will then get a microsd card put on it the second file from second link. Twrp.zip.
3. Choose install zip in recovery and flash the twrp.zip. when done. Choose to reboot to recovery from advanced I guess.
4. The twrp is easier thats y I recommend it. Firsly download the 4.3 omega rom to microsd card then put it in note 2.
5. Choose wipe. Advanced wipe. Then select all exept the microsd card and otg.
6. Press home.
7. Choose install then browse the custom rom.
8. You have aroma. Just read and choose what u want.
9. Finish and then check if boots.
I hope ive helped.

Hi mezo91
I really appreciate you taking the time and helping me out.
I can't seem to get past the first step as when I try to flash, it always 'fails'.
Any advice?
I hope this isn't the end of my Note II

I tried what you instructed me to do, but it seems that it is still making it's way to the stock Android system recovery when I boot to recovery after a 'fail' flash<3e>
Anything else I can try?

Did you force boot into recovery? Bcuz sometimes the stock recovery reflashes itself when booted normally.
What I do is when recovery flash complete is remove battery then vol up home and power button.
Try it.

TUTORIAL- How To- Downgrade To Lolipop 5.1.1, Galaxy S6 edge+ [UPDATED GUIDE]

- WARNING -
This Guide is not failproof, if you do anything wrong with your device while following this guide, i won't be held responsible if you brick or hard damage your device. I insist about that but you must extract all of your data (Photos, Videos, Music, Apps, Accounts, Messages, ETC) Before proceeding or else you will end up with a loss of data, again i'm still not responsible if you lose all of your data without backing up. I WARNED YOU.
Well, you have a Galaxy S6 edge+ lying around and you want to get back to Lolipop? You want to downgrade? Well then you're in the right place!
So......downgrading to lolipop...... some people claimed it can be done by deleting some file in the odin .tar but that never worked for me.
If you have the sw rev check fail error upon downgrading....this is the guide for you!
This will wipe all your data including internal storage (depending on how you do it)
Confirmed working on my Galaxy S6 edge+ SM-G928F [It should work on Note5 but no promises from now on]
Advantages :
Downgrade procedure is safe, simple.
Your phone should boot faster
battery life should last longer [i said it should]
You can get the animated lock screen animations back.
Get old touchwiz back. [i like the 5.1.1 version]
disadvantages:
1. You cannot boot TWRP while on the downgraded bootloader
2. You will only have system-wide root. DO NOT flash systemless or it will not boot (but nobody cares)
3. Fingerprint is not working (still working on that)
4. You can only flash stock nougat from odin. You cannot flash lolipop, marshmallow tar, twrp tar,cf auto root tar or anything else [except if you have a combination firmware]
Ok, let's get started.
Requirements :
A laptop or home PC : At least running Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10
Your device
Genuine Samsung charging cable [NOT SPONSERED]
Stable internet connection.
Files :
The lastest SAMSUNG Drivers which can be found here : https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver
Odin3 : https://www.samsungodindownload.com/fr/download-for-windows
The firmware you want to downgrade to : I will link my ROM so u can install it.
TWRP [Newest version] : https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys6edgeplus.html
Classy Kitchen [for bulding your rom] : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...kitchen-for-android-roms-development.3862584/
Now let's get started!
Let's start first by cooking the ROM! Open Classy Kitchen, and then open the ROM you want to use :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Normally the first time you open the program, there shouldn't be any project [except if you used this app before]
Next click "Create new project", "From PC (Browse for one)"
And then chose the path where you saved your firmware. After chosing your firmware, Classy Kitchen will open the firmware automaticly.
After the ROM is now open, click on "ROM utils" and then click on "Deodex ROM" After you Deodex the ROM, we will have to de-bloat it.
On Classy Kitchen, click on "Debloat / Re-Bloat ROM" to Debloat your ROM.
Last step [optional] We will have to De-Knox our ROM. (again optional) But De-Knoxing our ROM can save a lot of space in our phone storage. So i recommend you do.
After De-Knoxing our ROM, we will have to disable DM-Verity Force Encryption in order to Boot into the ROM [Otherwise if you don't your phone will never boot]
Click on "Remove DM-Verity / Force Encryption"
Next that we disabled DM-Verity, We will have to remove the "meta-inf installer"
Click on "Re-Build META-INF installer" and click on remove.
Finally once we have done the modifications on our ROM, we just have to save.
Click on "Build (system.new.dat) ROM (for recovery)"
and then we are done cooking our ROM!
But the guide is not done yet. We will have to install TWRP in the phone.
HOW-TO-PROCEED?
Step-1 Press and hold the power button on your device
Step-2 Chose "Power Off"
Wait for your device to completly Shut-Off.
Step-3 Re-Boot in download mode "odin mode"
Step-4 connect the phone to your computer
Step-5 open Odin3
In Odin, we will have to install TWRP, click on the AP box and chose your TWRP file [the one that you downloaded]
Don't forget to disable "Auto-Reboot" after installation, otherwise your phone will re-boot normal into Android.
At this point, Knox is tripped in your device meaning that your warranty is now expired. Also the Knox features are no longer usable.
On TWRP, click on wipe, "Format Data". A keyboard will pop-up, type "yes"
Type "yes"
Once Data Format is completed, hit home, reboot, recovery.
your phone will reboot into recovery again, hit wipe again, this time we won't format data. Instead we're going to wipe the phone's partitions
Chose in TWRP,
Then swipe to wipe. Then hit home again. Next hit "Install"
Install the ROM you just made with Classy Kitchen. It can be found in "Documents" - "Output" - "Your-ROM"
Transfert it to your phone
Click on the ROM / ZIP file and "swipe to confirm flash"
After the flashing procedure is complete, you will have to wipe the "cache" / Dalvik.
Hit "wipe dalvik/cache"
Then "swipe to wipe"
After you wiped the cache, hit "Reboot System" and hit "Do Not Install"
One last step before you get back to Lolipop. You will need a custom Bootloader in order to boot.
Just download my "custom Bootloader" https://drive.google.com/file/d/1207Guvk8J_L9FSJv2C9BpkeLpWkXtViQ/view?usp=drive_link
After you downloaded my "custom bootloader" you will have to install it.
so get Odin3 and install my bootloader!
After the Bootloader installation is complete, you just have to reboot your device, cross your fingers and hope it boots!
Congratuations! You are back on Lolipop! Enjoy!
1 : If you want to flash a mod in TWRP, you will have to put your phone in download mode, install the stock bootloader in BL tab, install TWRP in AP tab and then click on "start"
2 : If you want to get back into marshmallow / Nougat, you just have to flash stock firmware in Odin3
If you have any issues or any questions, you can DM me but it isn't guaranteed that i will reply.
Here are some screenshots of Lolipop :
