[Q] very strange issue

hi,
first off all sorry for my poor english... :d
I bought a DHD from netherland actualy the phone comes from england( virgin telecom branded)
when i was home with my " new " phone. i started to unlock this machine.
- 1/ make a goldcard succeed
- 2/ downgrade to 1.32.x it was 1.75.x so i must be downgrade succeed
- 3/ radio s-off en then ENG s-off succeed
- 4/ then check my bootloader i have a supercid cid is 111......
everythink is okey so far my phone is unlockt.
now, in belgium we have 3 providers proximus, mobistar and base(kpn group)
if i insert proximus and mobistar i can send and talk no problem at all.
but if i insert base sim card i can't send or talk because i have no network,
but i have one think "mobile data" so i can to internet with gprs no network.
i have tried another base sim the same, i have tried my sim in other phone works perfect. i have talk to the service hotline they says everything is okey here you must be able to connect in our network.
when i try to manual search to a network en then select base i have a error
" your sim card doesn't allowed to register to this network"
i already install another radio, another rom...
who can help me, otherwise i gonna slam it to the f*cking wall.

Hi, don't apologise for your English, its perfectly understandable!
What frequencies does this Base use, are you sure the DHD supports them?
I remember a week or so back someone had the same issue with the Base network. I don't think that was resolved either.

base uses this band :E-GSM and DCS-1800
width(mhz) : 2 x 5 and for dhs-1800 :2 x 22
channel : 25 " " " " ; 110
i think desire hd is compatible with that frequencies stuff.
why have i grps network but no normal signals?
There is something to do with imei block or something?

I would try speaking to Base see if they offer support for DHD, if they do offer official support that would suggest it should work on their network, is Base in the APN list for ARHD?

i have been spoke with them. they says you must do a unlock for the phone
but i have already done, very f*king strange.
where you exacty can see for the arhd?
i think the best solution is: i gonna sell them, and buy a regular/no branded phone.
i worked 2 weeks with that phone.
erase everythink start again, again again. factory reset etc..
but sometimes i have network when i do restart iets gone again.

Sounds like an issue with ARHD to me, if you can see a network sometimes very strange, have you tried a different ROM? possibly just a rooted stock i.e one of the raidroid roms

Hi everyone, i bought a Xperia M 2005(Dual sim) a few weeks ago, but one of the SIM cards isn't working properly, it lose 3g signal at any time and then returns. I have another Sony ericsson, a SK17i with the same SIM card and 3g runs fine, so, i think that the problem may be due to a Baseband issue, maybe is not the correct for my country (Uruguay).
Any idea where i can find the right baseband or the complete firmware for my SIM operator (Ancel)?

First, there is no spesific baseband for any sim, but you can flash baseband based on your firmware.

[Q] Sim getting deactivated when mobile is idle

Problem:
I bought Samsung galaxy grand duos I9082L from Abu Dhabi and i am using it in india. from last 3 years. I did not have any problem till now but unfortunately from last one week my mobile was unable to reach when it was idle(i.e. Mobile is turned on and battery is full, signal is good but still unable to reach) . I use the operator Airtel and when i switch off the phone and turn it on then again the sim receive incoming calls. Apart from that when i make some outgoing calls to anyone then immediately at the same moment within 5 or 10 minutes i can able to get incoming calls. There is no problem with outgoing and internet but i am getting irritated with incoming as many of my friends and family unable to reach me on time.
Steps taken:
1. I have rooted my device and installed stock rom on my device with indian firmware so build number and kernel version changed but baseband version did not change . Does Baseband version need to be changed to India ?
2.I have changed my sim card but still issue persists
Can somebody help me on this issue ? Your suggestions are more valuable

sim card not detected after upgrade

hello i live in Pakistan i use warid lte sim card i upgraded to android lollipop my f240L and now it doesn't detect sim card it detects telenor sim card...................then i installed kitkat 4.4.2 again and still warid sim don't work it was used to work on kikat 4.4.2 don't knw what's the cause anyone know anything about it ??????

I had this same issue on cyanogenmod but it didn't carry over to kitkat when I flashed back.
