[MOD][Q]Camera & Gallery to CM 14.1 LG G3??

Please are there LG Camera & Gallery mode for CM 14.1??
LG Camera for Nougat 7.1.1 or CM 14.1 with
Gestures Shots, Like original camera with hand shot
Live Beauty
to LG G3

No possible way as LG has not released a framework for them!

Snap camera HDR from market
HTC 10 camera port... Search Google for it

I very search but not find good camera app. Especially video record terrible. I back stock base rom.
Edit: Find "jishnu camera mod". Users says better camera for aosp. but I dont find download link.

go to google plus e find "Jishnu's Camera Mod" the zip is there, flash the zip, it will works but need same improvements
don't work live Beauty and don't work had detect, but is a good camera:good::good:

for me Snap Won, great,
but don't have Hand shot detect :fingers-crossed: nether Live Beauty :silly:
I guess the LG don't public your API

I tested "YouCam Perfect - Selfie Cam" from playStore this app has (hand gesture shot) and (Live Beauty), a good app
And I have "Snap Camera HDR", like a professional camera with functions
this both apps can do more than original camera from AOSP

I make Lightroom adobe camera.. N i will to try download snap HDR now.

The best câmera for me is open câmera, better then Snap Camera HDR for me.

Shutter speeds in Camera FV-5 and Manual Camera apps

Any idea why Camera FV-5 and Manual Camera apps only have 1/10 as its longest shutter speed? Bought them thinking they will offer longer SS but apparently they don't.?

First of all to this app works well with xz you need to change the name of the phone to z5 like (change from build.prop F8332 TO E6633)
I do this change and camera fv-5 works with full resolution @23 mp
And for the camera 2 manual camera
It works and save photo @8mp no higher
Camera fv-5 should be updated to works with xz
Today update also not working 3.26 not working not compatible

But changing the build.prop also unblocks longer shutter speeds?
I need 8 seconds at least

Best aftermarket Camera App

I just received an m8 from my brother... I understand the camera isn't a strength so wanted to ask which camera app works best for this phone in terms of features and quality... I don't mind paying if the app is for sale...

IMO stock htc camera app while being on sense rom.
Manual mode(iso, exposure time, etc.), duo camera effects, slow mo and 60fps recording work, unlike on other camera apps.

Google camera port with Hdr+ (abandoned)

This is kinda work in progress port of Gcam with hdr+ for arm devices. it's based on google camera version 4.2.035.141213305-arm.
it needs camera api 2 enabled. you can enable it via flashing the zip I've attached or add below line into build.prop.

persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
Stock rom is preferred, but it should work on all roms as long as above requirement is met.

Camera stopped working right on start

Nice! Works here.
But, I got some problems at my first test - Google Camera apk from OP link;
- Back camera resolution: in the app, the res are 12.1 (16:9) mpx, in face of the real 16mpx (4:3)
- Slow mode crashes every time
- Panorama seems don't run as well
Anyway, I feel the focus are, now, amazing! I had a Moto G5 - Cedric in the begginin of 2017. Now, I got the Montana, but, always the same problem: Strange focus. In macro, i mean.

HRD+ works really for the images, but there seems to be a tint when capturing images without HDR

as soon as camera api 2 is enabled Whatsapp, OpenCamera, Moto Kamera report "media format is not supported" at recording video, guess there's a codec missing then.
No mather if stock or linageOS.
Only Footej Camera is able to record video. Anyone else?

Yea I'm not able to record video on the modded apk too, but I can record it using the stock camera,
what rom are you running ?

search in build.prop this line:

put the package name of apps that are not working well with camera2api, like this:

camera.hal1.packagelist=com.whatsapp,com.instagram.android,com.vsco.cam
the listed apps will use the old api

I can't record video with neither gcamera nor stock camera. I already delete the cache and data, but still doesn't work. What can I do?

wanted to know the best camera app to use with cam2api with all the features like portrait mode, slow motion, panaroma etc... Is there any such camera app available bcz all the one i tested had some issues like fc or dark videos .... Pls can anyone suggest?

Try MGC v2e it worked for me when i was on cam2api enabled Nougat rom.

Try this one, it doesn't FC and doesn't have dark videos issue.

In one plus camera app you have to manually set exposure to Max, on slow motion and regular videos to fix dark issue... But 5 seconds after you set it, the exposure goes back to dark I'd you don't keep pressing the screen (manual exposure setting).

This one has dark videos too... On slow motion and regular video record. Manual exposure setting doesn't even work.
