Cannot uninstall system apps - Desire 816 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using HTC desire 816 dual sim running on android 5.0.1 rooted and bootloader unlocked.
The problem is, i am unable to remove any system app. i have tried using nobloatware, rootuninstaller, link2sd and es file explorer (finally). They all show that the app is successfully installed, but the app is still there.
i am not guessing that it is because of some error with the super user access, because i have checked with rootchecker and it says "yes".
Someone help me please.................

Our phones are S on from the factory. You need either S off through the Sunshine app($25) or need to install the correct write permission mod for your firmware that sets your SElinux from enforcing to permissive and installs a write permission script for your system folder. Your not going to gain any extra storage space by deleting system apps. They are in a different partition than the downloaded apps are. good luck

Can't reinstall app after removal using root explorer

Hi,
This might be a quick one.
I removed Doc2Go from the system partition using root explorer.
I however want it back now and have a updated version. Now the problem is everytime I install, I have a question asking whether I want to overwrite the previous installation (which was already removed), I then get the following message "Application not installed".
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Try uninstalling it on titanium backup and than reboot

Thanks. Tried it, but still the same thing. Do I need to manually edit the package.xml file?

If your phone is rooted, then Titanium Backup or Root Delete or /system/app/delete app from the playstore are the best. If not rooted, you cant do anything, unfortunately.

I installed the app to remove but when i tried to remove the device restarting and start optimizing apps again
Which app are you using to delete the apps. Some versions of Titanium backup may not work. So use root delete app or /system/app mover app.

I have tried this as well, using paid version of Root Explorer and TB PRO. Unable to delete system apps.
I am thinking that this maybe because of the S-ON that we have.
As of now, I cannot delete bloatwares inside the system app.
Did u use the system write disable mod in the original development forum... Use that and u will be able to have most of the features like that of s-off.... Before this mod i couldn't permanently delete the apps and couldn't install some of the apps like adaway xposed etc... Using this mod disables the system write protection... So we can enjoy most of the benefits of s-off.....

[Q] How to delete system apps [4.4.2]

Well, a very simple question, but one which is bugging me.
My phone has kitkat and is rooted.
So, how do I remove the unnecessary System apps preloaded in the firmware? Link2sd, Titanium Backup Pro, and NoBloat free are some of the apps which I've tried. They are NOT working.
I've even tried using root explorer to delete the system apps, but I kitkat is not allowing me to mount system to read-write mode. I use fx file explorer.
Any type of help would be appreciated.

Tried it. Not working
Ps - Can it be a problem with my rooting method? Here's what I did---
-> Flash a 4.3 kernel which has recovery.
-> Boot into recovery and flash SU binary zip file.
-> Flash the original 4.4.2 kernel and boot into system.
I trierd root checker and it shows I have root access. Greenify works perfect too.
Here's a screenshot of the error link2sd shows when I try to uninstall Sketch app.

[Q] Random reboot when trying to uninstall apps

Hi guys need help regarding random reboot after trying to uninstall system apps like Google Drive, newsstand, etc.
The problem is right after I uninstall system apps it will reboot. And after I check it again using root Explorer, the app is still there.
My device is a5dwg stock rooted.
Already tried the wp_mod.ko file but it didn't work.
Did something is wrong or did I miss something?

Flash this, it should solve your issue.

After flashing, then delete the system apps you want to get rid of.

If you flashed that already, maybe it's the file explorer your using?
Try ES File Explorer as I have had no issues with that, or the app "System App Remover"

Can't make App become System's App with Titanium Backup 6.0.1.

Hello, i'm using SM-G920P S6 Sprint with stock rom 6.0.1 . I rooted + installed xposed + TWRP successfully, i tried to use Titanium Backup to make normal app become System's App but it stucked at processing forever and if i force close Titanium Backup it deleted the app i tried to make to become the system's app. I tried to use the method with Root Explorer that move the data/app to system/app but still not working. The app still got deleted. Also custom patch of Lucky Patcher's not working. I tried to downgrade to 5.1.1 but the problem still there. Anyone has this problem before ? I don't know because of the update of Android Lollipop and Android Marshmallow or it's my device has different partition so it not working. Please reply thanks you.
Did u mount system rw
