updating original rom?

hello guys i hope u can help me, i tried in others forums and: 0 answers
I bought a tilt 2 new, and unlocked it via imei. It have the original at&t rom with touchflo. so as u know theres a new rom since august that changes flo to sence and many other things.
So... my phone that is unlocked, if i update it to last oficial rom, it will be locked again? then i will have to unlock it again?

I posted andanswer and there is also a link posted to a FAQ for flashing. What else do you want?

faq is talking about flashing custom roms and hardspl. but thats not what i want, i just want to update to the oficial last rom, from official old rom. But as i unlocked it by imei code not hardspl.
I dont wanna have a phone locked for att again. As i said 3 diferent forums and only u gave me an answer, i just wanna be sure

I suspect most people see you got an answer and move on. If you flash the new ROM the worst thing that happens is you have to unlock again, but the new ROM should not lock the phone

If you have sim unlocked it, it will stay unlocked.

[Q] Acer neotouch P300 help

Hi guys,
i'm new in the smartphones world i searched but can't find an answer to my question.
I would like to install android on my P300 coz wm6.5 sucks or also wp7 che someone help me? Does someone know if exist a different Rom ecc?

It IS possible, as the hardware is identical to the GeeksPhone One and the Highscreen Zeus. I did once have the GeeksPhone One ROM running on my P300, but Acer released an update that added a OS version check and now RUT just tells me the Android ROM is the wrong OS for the phone.
If you can get past that lock, you can install the GeeksPhone One ROM fine with RUT. I didn't bother investigating further as I had other things to do...

There is no guide, I never said there was. Sorry, I abandoned the P300 ages ago and brought a recent model Android native device.
All I said was that the device is the same hardware as the Geeksphone and the Highscreen devices, and that Android USED to install it before Acer set the security bit. You'll have to research yourself to see if anyone has bothered to crack it or not.

It is possible I have flashed my P300 and I m running 2.3.1 (Gingerbread) on it!

Can u tell us how you have done it?

I m running Android 2.3.4 SuperAsop 8.0 Rom the best. I m done with the guide but need to do more post cause xda will only allow me to post web links after I post more than 8 posts. So be patient will upload soon!

Btw i tryied to flash some months ago and i failed now my cell dosent switch on, it dosent even show acer logo... dunno what to do... can u help me?

Come on Guys. We need a fix. My Acer P300 won't even work now. It doesn't turn on and doesn't even seem to charge. The only light that is on when i plug in the charger is the end call light which is solid white. Any help is very welcome. Cheers

I've tried SuperOneClick, DooMLorDs Zergling ... But nothing works. I might despair.

Ej m8! Do not try to downgrade it cause I did it when I bought him and of course... he died But the warranty was nice to me and they get me a new one... Cause it broke just 1 day after I bought him

Downloaded... installed over SUTLR, Succesfully installed but wont boot into it, just seeing the HUAWEI logo...

I *think* it's based on the same procedure as GriefNorth (hard to tell since the forum I got this from is Russian, but well yeah, it is Russian as well). But I've taken a Slovenian firmware instead of a Russian one.
I wasn't able to unlock the bootloader though.

i have the same problem. after i rooted i messed up the boot animation ,and after i reboot it won`t turn off even with the power button pressed, just stuck on the logo.i can`t go in download mode just reset with volume + and power pressed 10 seconds.after the battery was depleted i connected the charger boot up in download mode,and i applied a firmware from sd card but it gave me an error, see the attached log.i cannot remove the battery since it`s a unibody.any suggestion on what rom or procedure ?thanks

Hello, hope everyone's fine, i would like to knoe if there's any V10H rooted available ? because i searched the internet and couldn't find any, and even , i couldn't inject root to my system.img (10H) so please is you can do it for me and link a download link would be much appreciated, and i'm not the only one here wanting a v10H, because my phone current state doesn't support unlocking thr bootloader.. so yeah, stuck.

hello, thank you for replying, but i already mentionned that " i couldn't inject root to my system.img " which means i read the post and couldn't inject root into my system.img, which lead me to post a request here, to see if anyone can root it for me. thanks for your help

Well I'll be getting my Australian LG G4 today or tomorrow in the mail (hopefully) pretty sure the model will be either H815 or H815T but all of those flash on any of the H815(?) variations. If you like I will upload my rooted system.img after I'm done making it.
Was planning on holding out rooting my device for a while, but hey.. I may as well make the rooted system.img in the meanwhile
Actually if you could be bothered uploading your IMG file I could do it for you.
