Hey all,
Just finally got around to unlocking/rooting. Have installed all the normal root apps (TiBu, Greenify, Adaway, Root Explorer) and a custom kernel, but V4A was not around last time I was in the root game.
Can anyone speak to their experience with it? Difficult to install? Results both on regular speaker and headphones? I'm more concerned about the latter as most media is consumed via Bluetooth speaker, Chromecast or Bluetooth through car, but I do listen to Google Music and YouTube Music at work.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Definitely worth it.....I have a .zip that i use that does the entire process for you...I can share if needed. I wish I could find the creator of the .zip again or the original post to give credit to him. He made it in the early days of 5x...but i still use it after every ROM upgrade. I use my 5x to connect bluetooth to my cadillac and on my UE Megaboom.......it makes a world of difference. Whenever Im using my Nexus 6 without Viper...Its just not the same . LOL

Does it launch in portrait or landscape mode? When I launch the SiriusXM app it forces into landscape (even when holding portrait).
After Logging In, Downloading Channel Updates & Logos it crashes. I hit 'Report' after crashing to hope the developer notices the 4.1 JB Nexus 7 errors are building-up.

Hi all -
Our app currently only supports Android phones. However, there are a handful of tablets our app does work on. We are working towards our next release which will include several new tablets.
Sorry, we don't have a release date to provide you at the moment.
Hope this helps,

I'm the developer of Send It and need someone with an N4 to test the app for me. It works from 2.3+ including on my N7 and Nexus S (both on 4.2) but I'm getting reports of it not working on the Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 4, both running 4.2. Hard to fix if I can't reproduce
So does anyone fancy testing the app for me and letting me know definitively if it does or doesn't work? And if not providing a log cat and testing a couple of debug builds so I can fix this issue?
Thanks.
Tell me how to use LogCat and I could do it, just send me the link to the APK (I guess its a apk)

Wow appreciate all the support.. the app is on the market currently https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=robj.send.it
I just really need someone to try to send a file to one of their contacts and see if it works/crashes/says sent but is never recieved/ or something else/ etc.. And if it fails post the logcat so I can see what the issue is.
The logcat tutorial AshonTS linked to above is probably the best you'll find on the grabbing the logcat if you don't already know how to do so.
Really appreciate the offers to test.. this is why I love XDA
PM'd it to you

Worked fine for me to send an image. It was my N4 sending to a HTC sensation running cm10, probably not the most stringent test considering we are both essentially running the same platform/OS revision but at least it is some more data for you.

What does the app add over stock share features in apps and send features in file browsers?

- Does photo sphere work aftr installing it?
- Is root required?
- Also, its written on various blogs that it will replace existing gallery.. so do we need to back up the existing images/videos etc?
Can we install this alongside pur stock camera app like a regular apk, or do we have to install it as a system app and replace the old one?

Yes, photo sphere works. Root is best because if you install as apk it will install to data/app, so you will need to go the system/app and backup & delete or rename as bak the previous version. Existing images and videos are still there.

Google Apps http://goo.im/devs/ChameleonOS/gapps/gapps-jb43-20130826-chaos.zip

In limited testing, all appears to work except bluetooth.
We are looking for someone to help by maintaining this device long term.
Thanks and enjoy!
