Hey guys, quick question.
I have a Nexus 7 rooted running 4.4 kitkat.
I'm trying to format it COMPLETELY as if it was brand new out of the box.
How can I go about that without risks? I'm still quite new at this, so I'm not very familiar... I tried googling but have not been very lucky.
Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated!
I would recommend using Nexus Root Toolkit. It will flash it to stock and you can relock the boot loader. I haven't had any serious issues that are unfixable on it

Download a factory image from Google for your devices, run the flash-all.bat it will wipe it new.

I can't get ClockworkMod back on my Pad, and I need it to restore a backup. I have TWRP on now, and my backup will only restore under CWM. I can't boot into the bootloader, because that's locked -- I had to perform an emergency restore, which downloaded & installed the latest firmware from LG. Where do I start?
Thanks!

I dont have any NANDROID backup, is it safe to flash 4.4.4 factory images on my Nexus without wipe knowing that it came from 5.0.1?

Yes45. This is one of the main reasons to buy a Nexus.
Edit: create a backup of your apps and data using Titanium Backup now so you can restore them after you flash 4.4.4.
Wouldn't that create errors due to the different runtimes?

No because your device is wiped upon flashing 4.4.4.
The only way to flash it is to wipe. If you don't wipe, it'll give errors.
Oh thanks for the wipe. The apps installed while in Lollipop that were backed up using TBP will be able to use in KK wont give errors?

You can go to LG G3 Android Development and than to [FIX] Stuck in Custom Recovery [TWRP/CWM] (After trying OTA)
I will try to get lucky there, thanks!

Is there a way to avoid going back to stock in order to flash Android N? I was hoping there was a way to flash it through TWRP. Any possibilities?

I don't know about TWRP, but shouldn't you be able to download the image and flash it through fastboot?
Yes I can flash it through fast boot, just not near a computer currently.
