The development team TeamWin - TWRP has created a new version of TWRP 3.0.0-0 Released for a variety of smart phones, including our .tak how many smartphones, not all all works correctly. With regard to our Samsung GT-I9300I Galaxy S III Duos, incorrectly stated the date created backup-a, since its establishment, it is better to change the date on the real, not to get confused later. In the setting of the TWRP, you need to set the time zone UTC +12 for the proper display time of your zone.
For flashing TWRP 3.0.0-0 use Flashify program: Flashify (for root users) or Rashr: ®Rashr - Flash Tool. Remove from the archive file using any file manager.
Added file to Flash via recovery
In to TWRP 2.8.7.0 , too - the same bug.
You can do a zip installed by recovery?
example:
package_extract_file("recovery.img", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery");
It is not possible?

after flashing with Flashify, my phone reboot and go to download mode, try to remove the batter and restart, still at the download mode, can't get in, any clue ????
*My phone is i9300I, android 4.3, Recovery: TWRP 2.7.1.0
One suggestion I have just tried out that people here might appreciate: Install official TWRP 3.0 via TWRP Manager (install from Google Play). Seems to work without a problem on my i9301i.

SuperSU is systemless in this kernel, you just need to flash this kernel and systemless xposed and you are done.
I know it sounds crazy, but would you mind posting a version of this WITHOUT superSU? I need an unrooted version to get suhide to work for me.
As a few people asked if i can make this or that kernel (all stock based) you can mod the rootkernel tool by urself to make your own kernel as u wish...
-----------mod rootkernel for matching new .305 kernel----------------------------
- go to "rootkernel_v5.0\Android\twrp_common_kmodules" folder
- You will find different folders with different kernel names there.
- Copy the "3.10.84-perf-gf1cfa5f" folder to your dektop, rename it to "3.10.84-perf-gf38969a" and copy it back to "twrp_common_kmodules" folder
---------end of mod----------------------
use rootkernel tool normal
Sorry for being noob
Hi...
Sorry for being noob.....
OP said that flash xposed framework on the first boot..... Is it mandatory?
If I dont want to have xposed, can I just flash the .img via fastboot and reboot then finished?
Thank you.

Puh, for this special question, i think you should better ask or look into the thread from tobias.waldvogel who made the tool which i used. Here is the link to the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/development/root-automatic-repack-stock-kernel-dm-t3301605

Systemless Xposed is only available if you use magisk, the usuall systemless xposed like it was a few months ago doesnt exist anymore. Or You wait for official xposed v87, i read that it should support systemless mode.

If stock you may need an old version but if you are rooting I assume you will be using a custom rom so just use the latest magisk

First rule you should learn on xda is the power of search
Google magisk & you will know
However I would recommend using a custom rom if you want to use features such as magisk hide to hide the fact you are rooted from apps that won't work if you are & magisk modules

How to enable cam2 api?
Find persist.camera.hal3.enabled=0 to and edit it to persist.camera.hal3.enabled=1.
persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
These two lines r needed in build.prop to enable CAMERA2API

What about using the the file manager within twrp? You can mount the system or vendor and copy over a modified build prop file (or edit the existing).

I've got an unlocked BL and not rooted, running xiaomi.eu (currently android 8.1), I edited the region in build prop before using this method. Safest way as always is take a backup in twrp and try.

Just boot to twrp normally, you can mount whatever partitions you want to edit. A full backup using twrp is advisable since you are making changes that could break stuff. Someone must be working on a flashable zip which is the convenient method. This is just the manual way.

OK, you've updated to the pie beta rom though? I've seen a couple of updates custom recoveries about that play nice with pie, so one of those would be essential, or you could prob boot it from fastboot as you say.
