Can anyone explain how to make transparent or semi-transparent statusbar for our lovely GIO, in general or particularly for "CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1 Miracle Edition" rom (my favourite)?
As I had read lot of related posts (for other phones), followed instructions but failed at the end.

You're welcome. The last time I've tested go launcher It was laggy and with a lot of problems. Does it works good in new versions?

Go launcher works well with me and I like its features and themes.
Note that you will release a new version of the rom. Looking forward to seeing it.

Eventually, I did it.
Method:
change "suiac_statusbar_background.9.png" to 25% opaque (75% transparent)
of "com.achep.theme.ICSandwich.apk" and replace it.

Includes: Battery (made by myself), WiFi, Signal bar, alarm, sound vibrate, mute,…
-HOW TO-
• Make a backup of SystemUI.apk
• Download the zip file and flash in recovery.
For the white clock and transparent status bar, use XBlast Tools or Gravity Box (Xposed module).
And before you ask me, the girl is Jaimie Alexander and my launcher is Advanced Xperia Launcher by ra3al with Xperia Unread and finally, my density is 420p *

Im trying to get the white clock and translucent status bar. I downloaded Xblast but nothing comes to play when I reboot it.
I'd be great if the status bar would be transparent only on the home screen... Because everywhere else... It looks horrible...

Gravitybox worked for me. Though you need to enable it with Xposed Installer... otherwise it will not open.

@Chacc bro..plz make white option from this layout fixed version of home.apk ported by kongaz2..and the and the side scrolling dots on the top of homescreen is not kitkat themed and it would be better if you make full transparent apps drawer without black box Plz make that also..and your work is amaizing..thanks again..

Yes..that is the layout fixed version of latest home.apk from 4.3 jellybean..and look in the below screen shot that I have attached..The apps drawer is nonboadered and the dots on the top is kitkat themed..If you implement all this your mod will be 100% kitkat Soryy I couldnot tellyou verbally..plz make 7 dock, 5*5 app drawer(white version). @Chacc your idea and concept is just amaizing..

You can use Gravitybox ( Xposed Module ) to set the transparency you desire on both lockscreen and on the launcher. When you open apps, it turns black again. But it won't work with this mod...

Thought of ripping the themes from the 3C and 3X phones in hope of finding a dark theme, which I did not find.
Zip includes 4 themes:
Brightness - theme with new icons, probably the most popular one by now
Journey - theme with orange/brown accent on white and new icons
Meet you - new icons
Youth - new icons
All 4 themes have a problem with the lockscreen.
Tested on B014 EMUI 2.3 beta rom.

Swiping finger on the lockscreen did not unlock the phone for me, maybe i swiped the wrong region, im not sure.
anyways you can always rename the .hwt to .zip and open it and then remove the unlock folder from it. And then rename it back to .hwt and push it to the phone.
Themes are otherwise useable yes, altough a little boring, mostly only the icons are changed.

The lockscreen on 3x and 3c themes dont work. I guess its an older version of emui2.0. But you can add custom lock style.
The mate 2 and B199 themes work fine.

Can someone extract these icons usable in nova or go launcher?
all themes i found on xda for emui 3.0 had their own icon sets and there would be a wierd coloring around small and transparent icons,so i decided to make my own theme with only modified icons for system and all other icons as provided by app(s).
i did the following:
*copied the transparent weather clock from another theme
*copied contacts from re-miui theme
*hand -selected each sysem icons from many other themes for maximum luxury of theme
*added 5 nice hdwallpapers
*made the weather widget transparent
*removed icon cover coloring(not me actually,the main base is a theme called "blue motion mod by starlek vanya", found it on google
*and the main feature::: the notification bar colour changes as you change the wallpaper:how cool is that :laugh:
hope you guys like it,if you like it then thank me.
the theme is attached herewith,just unzip it and copy the .hwt file to hwthemes folder in sd card
suggestions welcome
the only bad thing is the weather icon is fixed with a simple icon(not static),no offence
and since i am not a fan of magazine unlock,i kept the lockscreen neat.
edit:
please note that the notification bar color is wallpaper dependent,it uses gaussian blur technique to change colour according to wallpaper.

Beautiful! There is only one bug that you have to fix. Edit music widget to trasparent like the widget of weathe, and background navbar from blue to black. In my opinion black looks bettere. Nice work!

sorry, my phone is honor 3c and it doesnt have nav buttons,it was you who first lighted up the idea for that!
so can you post a screenshot of that,i mean i am very curious to know how it looks like on other phones with those 3 on screen buttons
that widget transparency is also very easy,rename the .hwt file to .zip,extract it,everything you find inside is also zip file,find the widget file,extract it,replace widget background by a transparent background(or anything you want) repack the zip. thats it

sorry for late reply,i had just modified a previeous theme by some russian guy,so i couldnt figure it out,it might be the theme framework.
but in one other theme,if the ....bg_9.png file was made transparent(meizu theme),that worked,but the letter colors would have to be high contrast white to be properly seen.
