Everything seems to be working as expected with one exception.
If I turn on 'Power Saving' my push for work email via Touchdown, doesn't work, I have to manually check for mail.
With power save mode off battery life sucks even more than it did on Lolli, but it's not really a fair comparison.

Yup, shows for me too, 1161MB update.
Hmm, decision time. A root for the current setup does seem like it's within reach...
Turns out this should probably be merged with the general lollipop thread though, because others are posting their updates there.
Well cool nice to kno we got the update... but I'm waiting... seems we r close to root on 4.4.4 plus b4 I update I want to kno if we r able to downgrade back down to 4.4.4 with Odin if we wanted ? And also I would like to kno the issues?

Can you share a screenshot? Whether it's of update going on or after it, of the about phone screen?
Would if I could. It was like almost an hour before my update actually started downloading and I'm just now on 400mb of 1.3ish gb.
Lollipop?
Can anyone confirm if this is the Lollipop update? I started the download too but it is going very slow.

How are you checking how much of the download you have?
If it says "Processing" its not started yet. Once the download begins you can see the progress.

It says "Downloading software update, Please do,.." in my notifications area....I tap it and nothing. If I go to "Check for Updates" in the settings and tap it it just takes me back to the "About Device" screen.

My phone is downloading the update as we speak. ~1100MB
Confirmed
Downloading with 200mb/1160mb progress.
If you all don't see the reply button on Tapatalk latest version 4.12.0 Uninstall then install again and it fixes issues.

Wrong firmware, you need to load firmware for the G920P, someone loaded the incorrect rom on your phone most likely.

This actually happened to me also u must had bought a used one through a retail shop .... Most likely ur imei no. will also be changed u just made the biggest mistake of ur life by buying this fraudelent phone shop keepers do this because no one wants to buy a carrier phone in the market so they use a custom rom in the phone into thinking its a real phone i.e G920F without the carrier that is after updating into its real rom check the imei and match it from back im 100% sure it will not match ..This is called Imei spoofing and is illegal in many countries..i think thread should be sticky to avoid people from being scammed into this..i advice you to help other and sell ur fone as quickly as possible and next time when a buying a samsung phone go to odin mode and check for model no.

Fair enough! I really wanted to flash this though. I even tried but it said its not compatible with my build number of something. I am on B132 right now. I guess waiting would be the only thing I should be doing for now. It's been so many days already. I am so curious to try out Nougat on my 6X. And it sucks cause before this I had a Moto G4 Plus with Nougat. I feel downgraded with Marshmallow on this!
The EMUI admin in facebook told me that the updates are being pushed gradually and stuffs. But then, why is it taking so damn long to receive it? I check updater every single morning after waking up but no luck so far. Kinda sick of this now!
Hope to get the official ota asap!
Thanks buddy!

I have seen the app and I know what it does. But I am really scared to use it after reading a lot of unfavorable reviews of people who used that to update. The B320 is available in it. Is it worth a try? The volte is safe in all these releases and thats quite a relief for me. Can i download it from there? Rohit says it works for him without any bugs. I am confused!

I could see the download option once I select the desired release and then it shows 2 files. Update and Update_data! Am I supposed to download both of them together or flash one by one? And whats up with the proxy? Would appreciate if you could guide me in this bro!

I just flashed the 320 via firmware finder and omg, it worked!!! The entire thing was done in like 1 hour. The security patch shows june 5th 2017 and i can see a lot of new features already. App twin seems cool and i am shocked to see the updater file too cause a lot of people complained about its disappearance after flashing. Its super stable and all the functions are working just fine. No data lost and smooth like anything!
The only drawback i found was not able to directly unlock to the homescreen via fingerprint due to Nougat's restrictions. So as of now, I have enabled the floating dock just for that lock screen button cause if u lock it from there, the fingerprint unlock works!
My 6X is so damn better now. I can also see a huge different in the battery as well as app opening performance. Loving the EMUI 5!
Thanks for that quick inspiration Gopi. Like you said, you never know until you try! I tried, and now I am surprised to see that the outcome was worth the risk.
Thanks Rohit. You told me about FF earlier too. Now I am more honored to have the Honor 6X!

You need to unroot.
No it will not erase your data.
Stock recovery is needed if you are updating via FOTA.
Also make sure your system is not modified.
No need to relock your bootloader.
My recents is broken after this latest update. Is it just me or are others facing similar issues?
Is camera 2 API enabled?
If not can we enable it?

Yes true !
Noticed slight improvement in battery backup, previously it used to give 1hr of SOT/10% of battery but now it has improved to 1hr20mins/10% of battery!
I feel some improvements in dt2w are done, reducing standby drain

improvement in notch here means no more chopped battery percentage, but still no real full screen when playing movies or youtube.

Can you be spefiic about this? Please don't say delayed Pie rollout is misguiding. Maybe it would be better for them not to annouce an expcted date for updates but then people would still keep asking.
I have had my phone for 2 weeks and I am very happy with it. It does everything I need from a phone and is a decent upgrade from my K8 Note. I am happy to have the Feb security patch in reasonable time.
I had a problem with the DND icon not being removed after turning off DND but that seems to be fixed in this update. I use System UI Tuner to remove mobile data icons so I have more space in the status bar for notifications.

Hey See when you know you can't roll out update soon just don't promise it? I am not asking them to roll it out soon am asking them to be honest ! Because that's what makes company credible . I bought this phone with a hope that am getting pie which I wanted to explore but then from January it's been March but still we haven't got Pie . If Asus knew it can't roll out update that soon it probably shouldn't have started promising that ( and that would have cause them to lose customer) . Its not about you being happy with your phone it's about if you lied your words lose credibility!!!

Yes but I mean if I do not lose my files when updating, like my photos or applications I hope and you answer me fast because I am about to update
I didn't lose any files.
Heads up that payment apps do not currently work with this update. Android Pay says this is not an official rom, and LG Pay requires and update for android 10 that doesn't exist yet. I suspect because although it might be official firmware, it hasn't officially been released yet.
Hmmm thinking of pulling the trigger on this. Wondering if they made improvements in the camera app? Also wondering if there is a battery drain. A lot of updates from several different phone manufacturer's are reporting battery drain after updating to Android 10.

I notice the battery exactly the same, the camera improved and added new modes, but mainly the interface and fluidity of the Android 10 device improved much more than with Android 9
I took a gamble and decided to install it. Maaananaannnnn am I love this update. What a refinement! Feels like a new phone so much more polished that 9 was on the g8. Also loving the system wide dark made aka night mode. Everything is so buttery smooth
Meanwhile T-Mobile won't say anything on when they will push the update out for their variant. :crying:
