Whatsapp update failure

If you managed to update successfully, please can you explain how you did it? I get a fail message, something about a conflict. Thanks!

Well, what I do is I download the latest apk from the Whatsapp site, and I uninstall the old apk and install the new one using the Appguard method. So basically nothing very difficult, but not as convenient as a simple update.

How do you download the apk? It directs me to the market and I can't download as my device is incompatible. Thanks for any info.

lol thats hilarious. not sure which has best detection rate on android in particular but i'd try a scan with either avast kaspersky or webroot for mobile

I factory reset into a new rom and its still there with that file deleted

I have the same thing today. I suspect the program has self-expired. Seems just to be a silly in-app touch sensor. All screen functions are disabled, and the program is essentially locked.
Too bad, guess I will demand a refund for my purchase. Was a good tool for the past few weeks since I got my new phone, but this really angers me. Will seek a different file manager.
