I've been using the MOTO 360 for about 2 weeks now after switching over from the original Sony Smartwatch. Just from a notification functionality standpoint I feel that android wear in general is really lacking. I know that has a lot to do with how new the software is and it will get better with time.
The things I want the most right now are to be able to see go back and look at messages and emails after they have been dismissed. The Wear messenger app is almost perfect on the messaging side but it doesn't work with MMS which is frustrating.
Are there currently any email apps for android wear that work in the same way as wear messenger does? I have been searching since I got the watch and I've found nothing.
I've had no problem texting multiple people from my wrist using the "ok google" commands. Anytime I try my wife (who is a favorite contact) my watch tells me there's no phone number for this contact. I've done the resync apps in the wear app multiple times. Is there something else I can try? I'm using my moto 360 with a stock unrooted galaxy s5 on lollipop.

Hi
Got hold of this ol Sony Smartwatch 2 which I´m trying to use to get accustomed to wearables. Problem is I got an HTC One m7 as my phone and cannot find any way to get email from the phones stock email app onto the phone. Is there any solution for this?
Use notifier app like Watchit or AllNotify.
Otherwise, use another good email app like Aquamail with an SW2 compagnon app
Thanks for your reply, dersie. I'll give those apps a shot. I'm currently also testing redirecting to Gmail and using the Gmail app on the SW2 to view my exchange workmail.

I've been using my Moto 360 with a Moto X for some time and I was able to view emails fully and delete them no problem. However I've recently got a Samsung S7 Edge and now I can no longer delete emails and also can only view the first few lines of an email rather than being able to scroll through the whole thing like I could do when the watch was paired with my Moto X.
It would seem that the email app on the S7 is the culprit but how can I get back the old functionality I had on my Moto X?
Thanks
I've just bought the Huawei Mate 20X - liking it so far, but I want a watch to go with it.
Could anyone advise me if the Galaxy Watch will work ok with it?
I'd want to be able to use Samsung Pay, receive notifications for Gmail, SMS etc, and be able to use some kind of fitness app - don't mind it that was Google Fit, Samsung Health or another really.
Anybody know if I'm likey to face problems? Samsung list some Huawei (and other manufacturers) but the list doesn't seem exhaustive.
Thanks.

I had an Honor 8 and had no problems with a Gear S3. Even though the phone didn't have NFC Samsung Pay did work on the watch. I could receive notifications, email and SMS and Samsung Health now works on non-Samsung phones. You'll have to wait on someone with a Mate but I don't think you'll have any problems.

Thanks very much for your reply.
Did you have to side-load on the Samsung Pay app onto the phone somehow,I'm guessing that the app is needed on the handset?

No, that installed from the Samsung app once i started the Pay setup on the watch.
I'm picking the watch up in the morning, so hopefully, I'll have it all set up by the weekend. Thanks again.
All seems to be good. Watch setup was no problem, Samsung Pay loaded up fine & all cards added. Still have to try making a payment & completing an exercise, but everything seems to be syncing ok with the watch. Notifications all seem to be coming through on the watch.
