Hello everyone . Can anyone out there please take the Stock MHC19J image from Google, deodex it, and convert it into a flashable zip for me and others to use?
If there is already a deodexed version could you please link me to it?
Lastly, can anyone link me to the tools that are used to deodex a Marshmallow rom. I have searched all over the web and I can't seem to find any. I have a Windows PC.
Thank You in advance for whomever helps me

Hi folks,
could someone pls upload a ROOTED version of the stock Gingerbread ROM for Desire? Its version 3.14.405.1. Please just stock and rooted, so without any modifications or add-ons. I want to keep my phone stock, but rooted
I was searching the development section and the Desire ROM Index Thread, but all links are dead
Thanx in advance!
/sorry if this is the wrong section, but I did not wanted to spam the development thread/
Your request is weird, if you want a rooted stock firmware, just install the stock firmware then go root.
got it!

If only XDA had a search function. Man, that would spare us sooooooooo many useless threads. Shall we petition the Admin for it?
Why would anyone use stock ROM, without a2sd / data2ext /etc scripts, as internal memory is sooo small? If you want stock with mentioned script included, I recommend Supernova: http://supernova.droidzone.in/ I was very happy with it, have upgraded to ICS though.
Hello,
I've tried everything under the sun to get my rooted note 4's native hotspot to work properly. I've tried the Galaxy Tools and Sqlite method and still can't get it to fuction.
If there's anyone out there that's has the tools to help me, please help.
It is greatly appreciated.
I'll even donate money to anyone who could give me a hand.
Thanks

Find my Hybrid rom thread and you'll find two versions of hotspot mod in the OP down in mods section.. If youre on the new NK2 update then flash the one you need and forget about it. Odexed if your on the factory installed rom and deodexed if you're running a custom deodexed rom.
Edit: Both of my hotspot mods are for NK2 so check to see which build you have because there is most likely a difference between the NIE and NK2. jar file responsible for this mod.

Thanks for the support. The last 3 on my baseband is NK2. Soes that mean i will have to download and install the x series rom instead of the hybrid rom seeing both hybrids are NIE?
Thanks
If you have the NK2 modem then you obviously took the NK2 ota or odin flashed the NK2 rom .tar. Like I said, unless you have flashed a custom deodexed rom, you are on a stock odexed rom. Therefore you need the odexed NK2 hotspot mod. You don't need to flash my rom to use the hotspot mod. Just download it and flash it. Your hotspot will then work.
So I have used almost 5 custom ROMs after going through the cm12 update but none of the ROMs have fixed a very minor bug....the bug is any html5 video player through any browser buffers like crazy.... This did not happen with kitkat. Now some people will say that I should get a better internet connection, but I already have a 16mbps connection and things worked fine in kitakat.
Now I need some help and hopefully someone here will be able to help me with my issuee
I am currently running RR ROM and would like to return to cm12 so that I can return to kitkat by the guide provided in the forum. Problem is I can't find flashable cm12 files that I can flash through recovery. I don't want to use fastboot method. So if someone could please guide me to the link of the cm12 stock recovery and flashable zip of the ROM I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance!
Ahem... read the stickies.

There are 4 versions, which one should I use? Also are they flashable through a custom recovery over a 5.1.1 custom rom?
If your primary goal is to downgrade to KitKat, then follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/general/guide-downgrading-to-kitkat-t3097176
Thanks man....idk if it works directly from 5.1.1 or will I have yo downgrade to 12s but thanks for helping me out. I can't find the thnks button tho....where is it?
I have looked everywhere on this site and online that I can think of and no one has to download the for stock kernel for the N910T 5.1.1 Lollipop [DOK2] ROM/firmware that came out a long time ago. Does anyone on here have it and can post a link so that I can download it? I need to for a setup I am building on my phone and I have everything I need except it. I wasted the whole weekend looking for it so if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I figure that someone has it on their PC from a long time ago. I use TWRP if that helps. Just looking for the kernel in a .zip format so I can flash it in TWRP. I tried to figure out how to extract it, but all I have is a stock.img.tar ROM with no way of extracting a kernel that works with the knowledge I have.
Anyways, I would greatly appreciate it and this thread and another copy of it I will post in android development are my last available effort to find the 5.1.1 DOK2 stock kernel.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Hi there!
After having bad experiences with multiple custom ROMs, I finally decided to go back to the stock ROM. Problem is, I can't find any official download link. All links I find are hosted on third-party websites such as xiaomifirmwareupdater.com or others, and I don't want to install the ROM from an unofficial source.
So, does someone know the official way to download the stock ROM and flash it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you search in XDA?
It just got an update, you should see it on the first page.
Official way to flash: use built-in updater to update ROM zip should be the easiest way.
You're talking about https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/miui-updates-tracker-poco-f3-mi-11x-redmi-k40-alioth.4263137/ ?
I don't know how but I didn't see it at first glance ^^'
Thanks
