I am using apps like Tasker , Kinscreen and Kaspersky Internet Security but they have constant notifications. It is okay in launcher but as the attachment shows I cannot lift them from lock screen. I am using stock v20e unrooted. Help to remove notifications only for lockscreen.
I don't think you can. Only way I know of is completely remove app notifications for app in question. Check settings, apps

I finally figured it out myself and thought I update my last post.
To remove apps from lock screen, just choose a blank icon. For example if you open tasker, there is an option to choose blank icon. That's it.

Hello everybody.
I am new here and I'm sorry if this has been answered already but I could not find an answer. Anyway. I installed WidgetLocker on my Galaxy Nexus but when I uninstalled it later on it left my notifications bar inaccessible from my stock lock screen. It can't be pulled down without unlocking the phone! Is there a way to fix this? It's just awful...
Edit: It can be pulled down in the WidgetLocker lock screen but I don't want to use it.
Do you have password our pattern unlock activated?
The notification bar is only accessible with slide to unlock.

Just tried it, no luck. The problem persists. I think I'll give the factory reset a try.
!EDIT!: Tried it, didn't work out.
Maybe increasing security (activate pattern/password) and then setting it back to slide unlock can fix it?

Unfortunately that was one of the first things I tried.
Why is my notification bar disabled even though I don't have that setting enabled?
One of two reasons: The Block Power Dialog option unfortunately also blocks expanding of the notification bar. The Settings help will be updated in the future to explain this. System security (pin/pattern/password) locks the notification bar itself, this is independent of WidgetLocker.
Found on their website. Don't know if this is a fix or not since I don't have widget locker installed.

Yeah, I stubled upon that too but the weird thing is that the bar is NOT disabled while using WidgetLocker but becomes inaccessible after removing or disabling the app. I'm running ICS 4.0.2 so I'll update and see what happens.
I've been having some problems with third-party lock screens, for some reason they'll work for a while. But then randomly they will just not lock the screen. Also, no matter what I do the stock lock screen will not go away. I've tried Go Locker, wp7 locker, and magic locker, and none have worked for me.
Is there any solution for this? I like having custom lockers so this is extremely irritating.

I'm using Go Locker with a WP7 theme and it's working. You also have to use Go Launcher and in Settings>Security change Screen Lock to "None"

I tried this, and it works fine for awhile, but after an hour or two the locker wont even pop up, it'll just show the home screen or whatever app I was last in.
The only fix I found was to disable and re-enable it, and thats only temporary.

I have been using Widget Locker for months and it works great. I had to set the option to allow it to keep an icon in the status bar, but once that was done it has only failed to lock once or twice and I use my phone a lot.
hi all
is it possible to completely replace the stock lock screen with another ?
i understand you can download lock screen replacements from the play store but they don't actually replace the lock screen, on may occasions if you lock and unlock within 1 to 2 seconds, the stock lock screen appears.
is there any way around this ?
There is no way around this unless you use a custom rom or what not. Just use the lock screen replacements on the market.

Why don't you just totally disable the stock lock screen in settings and then use a 3rd party lockscreen?

Hello,
I have not been able to find any place to disable the screen waking up for 2-3 seconds after I receive a SMS text message. It doesn't do this for facebook, for email, for MMS, but everytime I get an SMS it wakes up which I want to stop it doing.
Anybody know where the option to turn this off is?
Side notes: I have my lockscreen disabled
disable notifications under the sms app.

How is that heloful? He's asking about stopping the screen from turning on, not the entire notification. Op as of now I don't think we can. I think I had heard a while back of an app that stopped the stock sms from turning on the screen but I can't remember at this time the name of the all

I need an answer to this aswell
You have to use another SMS program (like from play store) and disable the default, or root and use the modded apk which allows for this option to be selectable

I solved this problem using Gravity Box, in General fixes -> Fix messaging wakelock.
Good Luck.
After upgrading to Lollipop, there are 5 icons at the bottom of the lock screen but I can't find where the preference is to change them.
Thanks for any help.

Similar problem, but with encrypted phone
I am having a similar issue, but my problem is that my phone is encrypted. I am able to use the smart lock feature to access the swipe to unlock screen with the icons at the bottom, but I can't customize the icons because the menu is not available while the device is encrypted. Is there another way to change this screen? I know I have been unable to find one.
I've also tried decrypting the device temporarily to change the lock screen, but the device refuses to decrypt. It sits for hours at the LG menu after restarting to decrypt, and I finally have to pull the battery to restart. After I do so, the phone operates as if it was never given instructions to decrypt. Any suggestions?
