Two pins for wireless charging missing in dual sim that are present in single sim.
This means no wireless charging is possible at all with dual sim.

Hi! My parents are now in Abu Dhabi, could you find the LG H815?? It would be great if you could give me some directions.
Or, maybe, buy H818 and change LTE bands, is that possible?
Thanks in advance!
they differ only in:
Dual Sim not supported wireless Charger
I would like to buy the Indian version of dual sim variant Note 7 ,what exactly are the differences between dual sim version and USA Att version ?
Does the dual sim version supports Samsung pay and other network features just like the ATT version?
Does it support Dual GSM ? will it support ATT and Verizon simultaneously ?
Thanks Guys appreciate your response.
Can't answer all of your questions but as far as I know:
Dual sim versions allow 2 sims (think 2 carriers/phone #'s) at once.
Single sim version only one sim 1 phone#.
All Sim version phones are GSM but not all versions have all frequencies.
for instance the 930F is missing one or 2 frequencies that AT&T uses. Also it's missing VoLte. It's would still be usable in most areas but there will be spots that service might suffer.
As for Verizon not sure if they even use sim cards at all. so can't answer.

Greetings,
Long time Android user but I'm looking to purchase my first Galaxy smartphone (so I'm a noob when it comes to Samsung Galaxy smartphones). Anyways while searching for one to purchase I noticed that there were two different dual sim models. The first one is SM-G960F/DS while the other one is SM-G960FD. Just wanted to know if it's the same model named differently or does it actually have differences in the hardware department (or does it even have additional logos). Thank you for your feedback
Both the SM-G960F/DS and the SM-G960FD are in fact exactly the same phone, they are simply two names for the same device to my knowledge. As for the logos on the back, I believe it maybe region dependant. My SM-G9600 (dual sim) does not have any extra logos, however I have heard that some dual sim S9's have a 'Duos' logo on the back.
My G960F/DS has the duos logo on the back and it doesn't seem to connect to lte in the US on the T-Mobile network.

i have a g965f dual sim and i get no LTE either?
still arguing with the person i bought my g965f from as my phone refuses to do *#2263# that errors out.
can you try *#2263# on your 960 to see if that works?

Do you know by any chance why dual SIM models are cheaper (at least in my country)? And can you tell me your model from checking the model number (is it SM-G960F/DS or SM-G960FD)?

It does not do anything when I type it into dialer. It gives an error when I click call. This is very strange because it seems most of the lte bands are supported on the device but it only uses 4g and the signal is not as strong as the T-Mobile varient

In my case, I bought my phone (Model number: SM-G9600/DS, It is the dual sim snapdragon variant) online, coming from Hong Kong as it is cheaper than the Australian version (Model number: SM-G960F, International exynos variant, Dual sim s9's are not sold in Australia).
It may also the same in your case, the cheaper dual-sim version maybe imported. Just my guess.
Mine says SM-G960F in menu, but it's exynos dual SIM with dual SIM logo at the back (also says SM-G960F/DS under the dual SIM logo at the bottom) bought official in Europe, Czech Republic.
As the title states, does the US variant of the Note 10+ have dual SIM capabilities? I've tried searching and checking Samsung's website but nothing stated.

It would be great if that were the case, but I suspect as always, the Exynos versions will be Duos. That's great unless you're on Verizon or Sprint. And in the case of that latter, I feel sorry for (Sprint users!).
I confirmed with Samsung's online chat that the unlocked US version is dual sim.

Single SIM. The tray doesn't have the layout for 2 cards.

They have been wrong about this before. But I will be optimistic as I'm a glass half full guy.
If it has dual sim, true dual sim capability, the sticker on the box will have two IMEIs.
Dual SIM is nice, been using that feature for a while and I like how my XS Max can support Verizon and TMO at the same time. I'd rather have a dual sim tray than the e-sim to avoid a 611 call to change, but it's better than carrying two phones, etc.

That's Samsung global, which is the wrong place to check. Also... "Availability of dual SIM may vary depending on country or carrier."
There U1 N10s have 1 IMEI, which means single SIM. Someone I know with the device says it only accepts 1.
Just got confirmed that the US unlocked model from samsung is NOT dual sim. Sweet jesus, what is with cell manufacturers not releasing dual sim in the us?
I am fairly sure it is a regulation thing here. I forget the specifics though.

Get the Exynos, it will be dual sim.
If you're on VZW or Sprint, however, it's not going to work.

iPhone XS and XS Max are single (physical) SIM with esim capability. The Chinese version has a dual sim tray, however.

Got to play with a note 10 + today. Not sure which model it was but was in the hands of a rep. It's dual SIM with dual imeis.
One of the sim trays doubles as sd card slot.
But the demo my store has is not dual SIM.

Can confirm
What is the model number of the dual sim variant?
Also do features on those International phones such as Samsung Pay/etc. work in the US
Really wish there was a way to activate dual sim in the US one, i suspect hardware is the same and if the dual sim tray can fit - then it would all be software based.
just a guess and hope

Samsung pay may work depending on which market your unlocked phone was designed for.
See this deal here, brand new N10/10+ great prices. Those are, I think, China/HK dual sim Snapdragon phones, should work well in the US on Tmo bands.

I need a dual sim device but all of them seem to miss band 30 which is important on ATT. Some of the dual sim are 4G only. Some also have 5G but does anyone know if those 5G bands are the same as the 5G that ATT uses? If so, which exact model?

I am not sure which version support AT&T 5G but from this website(if the information correct) https://www.techwalls.com/samsung-galaxy-s20-model-number-sm-g980-g981-differences/
Hongkong/Taiwan/[China] - Snapdragon support the same network as US model.
There are 2 dual SIM version.
1. International - Asia + Middle east
2. Hongkong/Taiwan/[China]
if you buy the phone from oversea eSIM might be disabled so many people are having this issue.
But why you need dual SIM when you can get eSIM if you buy US version.

after some research I think the SM-G9880 is the same as the US device but dual sim. Im not certain as there appears different information out there, but it would be great if someone who has one and is using it in the US on ATT could confirm if it gets US 5G

Being on lockdown due to corona virus, I'm getting lazy.
Go Google all the frequencies AT&T operates on.
Go Google all the frequencies the variants of s20 you are interested in.
If all the frequencies uses by AT&T is supported then it's fine.
Sorry, I'm getting lazy from working from home..

its crazy. there are two different versions of the SM-G988B/DS, one with 5G but no band 30, and one without 5G (but it has band 30). I think. Its so unclear. some websites show it differently.

Actually ALL s20 models have hybrid dual SIM in the form of a single physical sim and one ESim.

G9880 only supports csc TGY, BRI or CHC.
u can check if it includes att 5g band. BTW G9880 doesn't support mmwave
From Qualcomm devices you can get supported bands and combinations with Scat: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...tions-from-your-android-phone/#Scat_(Qualcomm) . Please share your device log to https://cacombos.com/contribute
I have already listed some combinations here: https://cacombos.com/search?key=S20+Ultra .

No US Galaxy devices support eSim. The main US service providers have squashed it. Only iPhone and a couple of other devices can activate eSim in the US.
