After a while, I've understood when my phone loses notifications sound.
If I'm listening musing with headphones (lg brand in my case), start a call using a voice command to my watch (Lg gwatch R), when I unplug the headphones I've no notification sound, only vibe. No problem with call ringtone.
I've tried to mute and unmute, change notification sound ecc ecc.
The only solution seems to be rebooting the phone.
Any idea?

I'm currently using a stock based GB rom, Aurora 0.7.
I have a strange issue when listening to music with my headphones connected. I have the phone in silent mode so without the headphones connected the notifications make no sound. However, with the headphones connected and still in silent mode, when I get a notification the sound plays out of the phone speakers. I would expect this to not make a sound at all, or play the notification sound through the headphones.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Thanks.
For anyone interested, I gave SoundAbout a try, but this did not work. The best workaround seems to be Hearing Saver. The settings can be updated so there are no notification sounds played at all when the headphones are connected. Both these apps require running a background service.
Sometimes, if I unplug my earphones (brand LG), notification sound disappears and I have to reboot the phone to solve the problem. Vibration works fine and, every volume is at its max.
Someone has this kind of issues?
Is anybody having this problem? When I am playing music over bluetooth to my car stereo or to bluetooth headphones, I can't hear any of my notification sounds.
The music gets quieter for a second or two and if I really pay attention I can just barely make out the sound of the notification. But really the only way I know that I had a notification is that the music volume turns down for a bit.
With Lollipop, everything worked as expected. The volume of the music would turn down and the notification would play loudly. I'm not sure why this change happened.
Any ideas?
I'm having the same issue. I've found that if I turn up the volume DURING the notification the phone suddenly realizes the volume is too low and cranks it up for that one instance.
hi
When I connect my Phone (Android 9.0) to a Bluetooth headset, all the sound notification will go to the head set. It's not possible to change this so the phone itself doesn't make a sound notification.
As long as I have the headset in my ear, it's no problem, because then I can hear the sound notification (SMS, email etc). But if I'm at work, I don't want to have the headset in my ear all day.
how can i solve this problem
no response so far
Hi, after the android 11 update, my phone lost ringing sound and vibration if the display is turned on or if you are in-app. Is this intentional? It seems that you dont need sound when you watch your phone, but there is only a very small notification window popping with green and red handset and i miss it very often if i watch a movie or something, there is no vibration or sound. Sometimes i leave my phone in app to listen to music and i find 10 missed calls.
