After I upgraded my watch to Marshmallow the "Factory Reset" and the "Restart" options disappeared. To factory reset the watch I now have to select "Unpair with phone". To restart the watch I have to select "Power off" and then start the watch by holding the side button until the watch vibrates once. I hope this helps.
For future reference questions should go in the Moto 360 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section, not in the Moto 360 General section

I would not and could and tried everything and nothing
Guys, my watch when i do unpair its not reseting no idea why, it turs off, do you have to have any percentage minimum to do a reset?
I´m having the same problema, no Factory reset option after update. Worst of all, it got stuck in the color dots screen and, since there is no Factory reset, I get the normal power up witch brings me back to the same place, the swirling colored dots. Any ideas on how to proceed? Is there a way to physically reste the watch (besides using the button)?

So I've had the Optimus G since last night, and I noticed there was an AT&T update, but I postponed it. However, after postponing it three times, it launched the update automatically and forced me to update. The phone rebooted into the update screen, going through a firmware and software update before rebooting again. It got to the AT&T "Rethink possible" logo and stays there forever. No amount of hard resets help. I had root before the update, but I've read on here that others had root and updated just fine.... has this happened to anyone else? Do I have any other option besides going back to AT&T?
EDIT: How do I boot into recovery mode? I've read that for other LG phones you have to hold down both volume buttons while holding the power, but when I do that it just goes to the AT&T splash like usual.
Did you try holding the power button? I was able to get into download mode by pressing pwr/vol+/vol- simultaneously with usb plugged in, but I don't know if that will help your situation.
Yikes, sorry to hear that. I had no problems and kept root.
Sounds like a return if you can't get it going quickly. You shouldn't have to deal with that on a mandatory update.
Good luck!

From the manual, that I downloaded from the LG website (not sure that this helps, if you don't know what to delete):
5. Using Safe Mode and System Recovery Using Safe mode
To recover your phone when malfunctioning.
1 Turn off your phone and reboot. When you see the booting animation (Rethink Possible SM) press and hold the Volume Down Key . Your Home screen will then be displayed with the words "Safe mode" in lower left corner.
2 From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key and tap All settings > General tab > Applications.
3 Tap one of the available tabs at the top of the screen and select the application you wish to uninstall.
4 Tap Uninstall and OK to confirm.
5 After uninstalling the application, turn off and reboot your phone.

Neither of these solutions did anything, but thanks anyways.
Bummer sorry to hear that. Is the att store far away? I really don't think this has anything to do with root.

No, it's only a few miles away, but as a college student with no car it makes things a little harder. I'm not sure what happened, I'm surprised they forced me to update...

have you tried a hard factory reset. turn phone off. hold down down power button and volume down key. follow onscreen instructions.
After charging my Moto 360 today, it is stuck on a white screen displaying "Android Wear has Stopped" and an OK button. Clicking the OK button refreshes the screen, then displays the same message. I tried holding power to reboot the watch several times, but it defaults back to this white screen immediately upon rebooting.
Any suggestions?

Edit: FIXED
Very weird. I left it on the charger, and started trying to cycle the power (holding the power button down until it restarted). After the 4th time of cycling the power, it let me in to the system menu, and I was able to "reset" the device. Fixed, but still no idea what caused it.
turn off 360
uninstall wear and moto connect
reboot phone, reinstall apps
turn on 360, and connect it
No luck. Tried the above., then tried rebooting the watch with the phone turned off. Nothing seems to work.
The watch literally boots directly into this error screen immediately after showing the Android Wear splash screen.
Just happened to me. I also rebooted a few times using the side button then it would let me into the menu and I could do a reset. Weird.

Is there an alternative to clearing the google lock pin when you boot the device? I am thinking hard reset is the only way

To hard reset, You have to turn off the phone, Press and hold Vol-(down) and Power button at the same time. When you see LG logo, release power button for 1 second and hold it again (never release volume button). When you see the screen prompting "Yes" or "No" select yes using any volume button, press power button and wait until done.
Once you do this, everything will be removed, right ? I did this, took out sim, and if I power on I get to the setup menu, about to sell it, just want to be sure without completing setup that my phone is safe to sell.
(Verizon version)
Thanks.

I know this problem is already solved, but you can factory reset your phone from within android, too. Just go to settings --> General --> Backup and Reset and chose "Factory Reset" option at the bottom. This is an implementation all modern android phones usually have Just for your next sell. Cheers
I did a factory reset on my watch to pair it with my new phone, it now says "connect your watch to a power source." When it says this I can't do ANYTHING ELSE. It's just stuck at this screen. I have never seen that before, the battery is at 80%+. So after trying to do a factory reset I put it on the charger and got it to 100%. And it says the same thing when I take it off. It also says the same thing when I do a factory reset again. I have tried everything, googled it, etc. Any ideas?
Same thing happened to me. Just go into the Android Wear app and set up the watch. It will search and you will see your device. When you connect it exits the screen.
When you see the message on the watch, scroll to the left until you get to the "pair with the device" screen
Swipe from right to left to get to the next screen. I think there are 2 or 3 screens to swipe through.
Edit: sorry didn't see existing reply
My huawei GT stuck in logo screen. In morning wanted to check sleep data for last night in health app. but says no data for last night. looked at watch and saw that graphic is messed up (nubers, lines....moved allover). So I tried an reset but the watch stuck in logo screen. Tried multiple times to reset it by holding upper button but nothing. It have any boot zone for factory reset or what should I do?
Just found this on Reddit.. might work:
------------
You should be able to factory reset the watch from recovery:
Hold down the button until the Huawei logo appears. Keep holding until the long vibrate.
Immediately release the button and then press and release it again quickly.
You should be in fastboot mode. Cycle through the options by pressing the button until you get the "reboot-recovery" option. Hold down the button to select and wait for it to start up in recovery mode.
Swipe down to "wipe data/factory reset" and then swipe over to select it. Swipe down to Yes and then over to confirm.
------------
Fingers crossed! [emoji846]

ThankYou but that's available for Huawei Watch which is working with android. Huawei GT and GT2 use an Huawei own sofware. Tried anyway. It just restart, logo appear, vibrate and dead. Tried to short press again upper button, lower button, both buttons , nothing. This just give me a chill for when warranty will expire because this can happen anytime and often.
I keep searching and can't fin anyway how to enter in a boot zone where to reset watch. I cant belive Huawei didn't think of this.
On in other post someone said to trie to restart it multiple times. Tried over 50 times, nothing.

Ooh sorry it said GT... Maybe wrong.
If you have a Huawei phone you could go to the HiCare app and chat to support.. or try their website?
There must be some way to reset I would think. Crazy if there isn't!

I've not heard of others doing this, so hopefully it's a one off fault and doesn't happen again for you
