Help unbrick g3 d855p - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, I have a problem with my lg g3 d855p hope help.
The device connects to the download mode more makes no sound in the USB, and not install driver.
I can enter the recovery to make hard reset, only that is infinite and have some errors when I press vol + and power.
The device is in the home screen lg only and does not pass it.
I wanted a solution.
I think it has no problems with the g3 usb why need it to enter the correct download mode?
I look forced guys

H815 stuck in bootloop, no download mode or recovery

Hello,
I unlocked the bootloader on my LG G4, flashed TWRP and then using TWRP flashed a SuperSU plus a new bootloader for Android M along with the Android M system etc...
The phone is now stuck in a bootloop.
I can no longer get in to TWRP and can get into download mode very briefly before the phone reboots again. My PC can not detect the phone at all.
Can anyone help? Have a feeling I've hard bricked the phone
Thanks, Ben
i have the same issue

wait flastool update for put android 6.0 kdz . antiroll back system on motherboard
Hello Everyone. Someone has got news? Cause my lg g4 stuck on the same issue.
I unlock bootloader and try to install twrp. Via fastboot flash command twrp doesn't seem to get installed. So i try to boot in twrp and then install the img to the recovery partition. All seemed to go fine. When i try to reboot to recovery twrp ask me to root the device. Why not? I leave twrp installs superSu (I think this was my mistake). Now I've a continuous bootloop, even if I simply plug it to the charger. Vol down + Power buttons neither vol up + power doesn't work.
Sorry for bad english
I think one way is to disconnect the battery by disassembling the phone(check Google), then reconnect it and boot to recovery using the correct key combinations. I hope it works. It worked for me.
Install the LGUP tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
Install both file.
Download the kdz files:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64298942&postcount=6
This V20A MM, for 5.1 or v20b you have to search.
Power down your phone.
Push and hold Volume Up and then plug the phone via USB to your PC.
The Phone enter the download mode.
Start LGUP, select the KDZ file.
If you choose "upgrade" all data will be obtain, if you choose "refurbish" all data will be lost.
I suggest "refurbish" because for me "upgrade" dont work without fc and system carshes.
Wait around 5 minutes and your G4 is back with MM, clean and fresh.
Thanks hannsheinz for the reply.
I solved this night in this way (very similar to your suggestion):
- I downloaded and installed LG Bridge from the official website.
- I pull out the battery to power off the device.
- I reinsert the battery in the device, without power it on.
- I plug in the usb while pressing volume up button.
- The device entered the download mode and LG Bridge recognized it.
- I press "update error recovery" in Lg Bridge (bottom right in the Software update tab).
- The procedure will take a while according to your pc and internet connection.
- At the end my G4 "breathed again and still breathing"
Very similar to what hannsheinz suggested.
Thanks to all

Try to take out the battery. After put it back and press the volume up and plug in a the lg micro USB to your phone but before doing that be sure it is plug in to your computer and wait until you see the download mode. I forgot the video link but just search up unbrick, unroot lg g3 on YouTube and search for the video that you see a lg g3 with a blue screen and a number 3 in the middle. After you find the video use it to guide your self to repair your lg g3. Hopes it helps please message me back if you do it and if you what I can help if it doesn't help.

Hi!! Im in the same case
My phone reboot itself and show LG logo then Android logo then black screen.
Tried on Win 8 x64, FlashTool 1.8.6.527
- reboot
- take off the battery and turn on
- wipe
Result
-same lg logo, android logo, Black Screen
Tried
-http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-how-to-restore-sprint-lg-g3-ls990-t2852042
Result
-Flash Tool error diferent model (D855)
Then I opened the phone looking for mother board model and it is LS990.
Tried
- flash with D855 .dll and .tot files
Result
- error on partition change fail
- trwm recovery delete
- the phone just enter on donwload mode vol +, vol- and without push the vol buttons the phone enter in download mode
Tried on windows 7 x86
- again flash with LS990 dll, tot and D855 dll, tot
Result
- the same errors using LS990 dll or tot
Tried
-Flashing with D855 tot and LGUP_8974.dll
Result
- Lg logo loop
- no download mode, vol buttons just not work
Any Ideas?
can I install custom recovery and try somthing from there?
Search online, there is a forum to restore your download mode if you want it

I hope you know to enter download mode your phone has to be off. The while holding the volume up button you connect your phone to your usb. It wont even show u an lg logo if that fails you try with volume down. If that fails then you will have to short circuit the phone
I was able enter download mode before I used that tool..now it just keep on bootlooping.
I think I have to try short circuit as u recommend.
Thanks for the help.

One click Root failure - stuck at LG logo. Can someone please help me what to do?

Hi
I'd be really really grateful if all of you clearly (more) knowledgeable (than I) could help me.
My phone is a D855 (32gb/3gb) international model which was running on stock v5.0.
I ran v1.3 of the one click root method. and completed the whole process (or so I thought ). However, after the process said it had completed, I removed the usb cable and now find that I am stuck at the LG Logo.
Pulling the battery makes no difference. Once reinserted and power back on, the LED on the top left blinks but no boot.
I have tried to enter download mode (by removing the battery, holding the volume up button and inserting the usb cable) but again, no joy.
Can anyone please tell me what I need to do recover the situation.
Many many thanks
Update: I managed to get into recovery by turning off the phone completely and then pressing and hold Power and Volume Down. When the LG logo appeared, release. After a split second, then pressing volume down and volume up. At the white screen asking you to reset, I pressed Yes two times using Volume buttons. Saw the screen that said erasing data but still stuck at the LG logo.
Can anyone help please?
Update 2: managed to get into download mode by powering down (took the battery out) then holding the volume up button and inserting the usb cable.
What do I need to do next?
hello, you need either the lg mobile suite software or lg flash tool 2014 and a kdz
I would go for lg mobile suite - it will offer an upgrade or select it manually
also -- see the guide from hyelton in g3 general (getting back to stock)
