Hey there! If you're talking about the AOSP with custom navbar, it probably won't work, but you can try.
Here are the steps to install:
1. Do a backup of your system partition in recovery.
2. Download the desired SystemUI.
3. Move it to /system/priv-app/SystemUI and set permissions.
If it doesn't work, please, report back here and I'll make one for 5.0

No, SLim 5.0 it's stock based on latest Sony Xperia Stock rom for Z3 Compact not the slimrom (aosp) series
This rom has a lot of changes on SystemUI and I am interested in this mod and I would like to know that replace icon files systemUI.apk (decompile, repleace and recompile again)

Ah well, my experience with Roms - I always wipe and dont want to take any chances! A fresh feel! And secondly if there are any issues I have to wipe eventually you know! :silly:
Here is the port of Z3 lastest 4.4.4 SystemUI.apk running on top of our 4.4.4 - 10.5.1.A.0.283 firmware.
I have ported it for my personal use, but I have also noticed that it runs much more smoother than our current one, so why not to share it?
Feel free to use it on your custom rom build, just give me proper credits for that!! ( also to @niaboc79 )
I have changed every resource hex id into smali bowels to match our 4.4.4 - 10.5.1.A.0.283 framework, so running it outside mentioned firmware version may fail.

it can be that your launcher doesnt support xperia z3 clock widgets.Try with this launcher or delete old clock widgets

Yup, Working on it., I've noticed that you are using a Module for SystemUI, it seems to cause the problem .
the alarm icon on my XZ1 LP & Z2 LP looks fine, please try to disable the SystemUI modules then give me a feedback .

Really love the aosp signal icons, but the data doesn't seem to be themed when it's turned on, but when not in use it shows the aosp look when data is off

You can get this NavKey flashable zip from @Rajeev's Thread.
But,
This NavKey is no use with other custom Xperia Theme.
Working for default system theme.

Last screen shot is no Xperia Theme and no Xperia devices, this is my Nexus 5X and now use Substratum Theme Engine Bro.
Font is Ubuntu font style with change Fonter Pro app.
But,
I have a plan, to make this NavKey style with new Xperia Theme.

You need use System default theme Bro
If You have use Custom theme, don't work this Overlay NavKey.
Because,
This NavKey Icon is System default UI Overlay NavKey.
