I have best battery life in the living room.:silly:
And as ROM FreedomOS Oreo. Way better than nougat.

Get a powerbank...
Anyway, you could try VertexOS, then disable input boosting. It might be a bit sluggish sometimes but you can get pretty neat battery life.
1 - Sultan 14.1 is the best
2 - Zenity RR is good rom too
3- Pa +Vertex Os
No one will be able to tell you what is the best. This is due to roms not running the same on every device. We could run the 100% same setup and see hours of difference in battery life.
So the best bet is to try them out on your own and make up your own mind.
