You can only install Custom ROM with Dual SIM support because your device is a M8 Dual SIM
Or just return to stock M8 Dual SIM - check my thread linked in my signature
Y i just found ur Thread... Do You Know Which Roms have the dual sim support?^^

On what base are you ?
Fastboot getvar version-main
Give the output number. And did you only root your stock rom, or is it tampered with ? Like deleting system apps ans so on ?

Hi I have a HTC One V. I just got it from China (I'm in Australia). It worked great when it arrived stock but I went straight ahead and rooted it, loaded TWRP_2.6 and installed a custom ROM - and no I didn't backup a god damn thing.
I now have a problem, when I load the ROM and flash the kernel the phone will boot once but never reboot, it always gets stuck at the 'quietly brilliant' screen.
do you think this has something to do with my HBOOT version? or maybe the fact that the phone is S-OFF?
I've searched and searched for the answer
some advice would be great!

Don't use TELUS_WWE that's Canada. Use hTC Asia HK 2.24.708.1, since it's from China.
I don't think it's the hboot either, other people have the same hboot and they are able to boot.
Try flashing the kernel after flashing the ROM
Edit: Lucky you with S-OFF O.O

Thanks for your help. Flashing the kernel after the rom lets me boot once into the new rom but not reboot.
I checked my CID it is set to 11111111 Maybe that is an issue?
Cant seem to get any rom to work more than once.
I tried RUU_PRIMO_U_ICS_40A_h_TC_Asia_HK_2.24.708.1_Radio_20.76.30.08350_3831.19.00.120_release_276653_signed and followed the instructions on the link below to stock the phone. The process went well however the phone doesn't recognise my Australian SIM (3three). Where as the myONE rom did.
Any suggestions?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1706070
I just booted into bootloader and did a factory reset, when the phone restarted it recognised the SIM. Maybe the SIM needs to be inserted before the first boot?
Would like to try out some other ROMs if anyone has suggestions on how to do this.

I'd say try some other ROMs with the sim inserted on first boot, and flash the boot.img after flashing the ROM.
Even though you have S-OFF i'm sure there is no kernel in the zips you flash, so get a boot.img out and connect the phone in fastboot, and use fastboot flash boot boot.img
I think you're using fastboot boot boot.img

If he's S-OFF, can't any of advanced devs instructed him to get files needed to make our HOVs S-OFF?
Anyway fluxobject, if you want to try another ROM I propose U Ignorance. It needs Titanium-Kiss kernel. To download it, click download, then choose boot-TK-USB-201305210014 (i think it's the best choice... that second version of kernel with "OC" in name is overclocked to 1,496 Ghz and Undervolted in "stock")... As I see in your 1st post you know the rest of flashing kernel & ROM procedure
Type fastboot flash boot boot.img not fastboot boot boot.img..

Hello,
One of my friend's HTC One X recently got bricked or at least I guess so.
The phone was not rooted and not unlocked. The phone received the update a few days ago.
After downloading and installing the update, the phone won't go past the boot screen. It displays the htc one x logo and stays there. He is able to goto recovery mode, but resetting the phone didn't help.
The usb debugging is turned off, so he is not able to unlock the bootloader or anything as such. When the phone is connected to the computer, adb shows nothing and the AIO toolkit shows waiting for device.
Is there anyway to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Download the latest driver from HTC.
Download this extract to c:\fastboot and go in bootloader on your phone choise fastboot connect the phone to computer and you will see on bootlader Fasboot will change with Fastboot USB. Unlock your phone with HTCDEV and install custom recovery after this mount from recovery SD card and put your rom on the sd card install the rom flash the boot.img erase cache.
Hello, I have unlocked the bootloader. Now I have to find a boot.img I guess
So how do I find it?
BTW I hope I can use the toolkit from this theread for flashing the boot.img: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066390
Now, flash a custom recovery (twrp,cwm..) and choose a rom to flash (stock or customs).
Inside the rom zipfile there is boot.img for you. Just make sure you follow the relevant install instruction correctly when flashing rom.
One more thing: if possible try to flash manually (instead of using auto tool) as you can make sure which steps/commands have been done and which not. That's very helpful in case of any problem.
Good luck..

Dont get confused. Thant is right, hox has internal memory and external memory (also referred as sd card). Both are inside the phone. It's not physical card slot he meant.

I have one more doubt.
I managed to find the boot.img from a stock rom. so after flashing it, do I have to do anything else?
I mean do I have to go ahead and flash the entire rom?
Also since the phone is not booting, how do I put the files in SD card?

If you flash stock boot.img you need to flash stock rom but you can't flash stock rom because you can't put the file on the SD Card.
Listen now.
1. Install custom recovery Philz is really good. Extract the recovery.img and put in your fastboot folder run command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and fastboot erase cache
2. Go in recovery and choice the option mount sd card
3. Copy your ROM to SD Card and install. Use option in recovery Install ZIP
4. Go in fastboot and flash the boot.img extracted from ROM arhiv with the command fastboot flash boot boot.img and after this fastboot erase cache
5. Use your phone
Thanks a lot. So there is no way to install stock rom now?
Also can you link me to any rom you recommend. I am not looking for anything special ro something like that. I just want to make it work, so.
What about this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2464113

Hello.
I need some help with the update process on the HTC ONE X.
Here is my phone info:
Code:
Android version : 4.1.1
S-ON
version-bootloader: 1.36.0000
version-baseband: 5.1204.162.29
version-main: 3.14.708.28
platform: HBOOT-T30S
cidnum: HTC__622
I have CWM Custom recovery and the bootloader is unlocked.
I am trying to update the software to the latest one available.
Here is what I tried:
1)Performing a regular OTA update. It won't update.
2)Getting the OTA zip and flashing it trough CWM. After this I am stuck in a bootloop.
3)Using<RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_hTC_Asia_HK_3.14.708.28_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_299865_signed> . I get Error 132 signature error.
4)Running <<RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_hTC_Asia_HK_1.29.708.15_Radio_2.1204.122.17_release_268338_signed>. Gives an error regarding the bootloader version.
4) Extracting the zip from <RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_hTC_Asia_HK_1.29.708.15_Radio_2.1204.122.17_release_268338_signed>, flashing recovery, boot, and system img, relocking the bootloader and runing the <RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_hTC_Asia_HK_3.14.708.28_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_299865_signed> . Again signature error.
Right now I restored a nandroid backup.
Could you please point me in the right direction? I'm not really a beginner in flashing but coming from Samsung, flashing One X is very time consuming and honestly I lost my patience.
I think I got the right firmware (considering cid) but I may need to flash something from the stock rom before I can update.
I just want to update to the latest stock rom and if possible to a custom one. So, can you guy provide some info and maybe some links about what versions could I flash considering the information about the phone posted in the opening?
Thank you.

I tried that already.
All you had to do was flash the stock recovery.
To get ota you must have stock Rom, stock boot.img and stock recovery. You do not have to lock the bootloader for ota but you do before you run an ruu, which is probably why you got a signature error on the first one. And lastly, you cannot run an ruu which is lower than your main version

No, the recovery in the nandroid is a custom recovery. You can get the stock recovery from the general section from the "collection of stock nandroids" thread. Or you can Google "3.14 stock recovery" and look for clydeb1's dev host account, he has a load of recoveries listed. And yes, arhd is compatible with your phone, as is any other rom in the one x thread.

Im having the same issue. I have tried many solutions from, tape on the SIM card, to switching in and out of Airplane mode, and now I have ordered a new sim card. There is no service, noting populating on the APN list, and it wont let me add a APN manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

As mentioned before in this thread (and several others here on xda) you need to reflash the stock boot.img of your phones firmware version. The boot.img of 3.35.x roms isn't compatible with 3.x firmware versions that don't start with "3.35".

I did what was suggested and that did not work:
Added .zip file to the sd card,
booted into recovery (TWRP)
installed zip 3.35 only from thread provided
Still no service, no APN, and can not read my sim card.....

Why did you flash the 3.35 only version? You're problems are caused by the fact that your firmware doesn't start with 3.35. This way you only made things worse.
You need the boot.img of your current firmware if you want to use a sense-based custom rom. Press and hold volume up and the power button until your phone reboots to the bootloader. Then boot to twrp, reflash the rom you want to use and reflash the stock boot.img of your firmware afterwards (either by restoring it via twrp or by flashing it via fastboot.)
