Question About Asurion Replacement Device - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So last week, I had to get a replacement device, after my VS 986 was exposed to too much liquid water. However, the replacement G4 they sent, doesn't have a clear Serial Number like the new one I had before. I'm concerned about the earlier manufactured devices (particularly the ones starting with "505"), but have no way to know which one they sent me advertised as "like new."
Edit: Second Issue resolved

On another note, has anyone ever had issues with Google Messenger? For some reason, I'm seeing messages from completely separate contacts pop up in the wrong threads. LG Messenger and Verizon Messenger are unacceptable alternatives. I've never seen a more sluggish messenger, than the LG one. Smh.
For example:

Dev edition and or unlocked.
Thanks Cam
This is one reason I upgraded
Worst hardware company
I had bought htc desire x and wifi/host-spot problem occurred within a year. I gave it to the service centre and they changed motherboard because in case of any hardware issue they have only one option which is replacement of motherboard. And when they changed motherboard of my phone then 3 and half months later camera stopped working first and then phone get dead within one month. So this is htc (Htc Third Class). And again they asked me to replacement of motherboard (what the f**k they people) and motherboard cost is near about Rs.7500/-. Even htc dosn't trust on their hardware more that 3 months cause whenever they change motherboard they only gives an extended warrenty of only 3 months. Shame on you guys(htc team).
There are lot of smartphone companies are there having more features as compare with htc in less price.

Google Play Store 5.9 coming?

I see Google Play Store 5.9 is coming and was wondering how this will effect the Fire Phone?
I just got one off ebay and running 4.6.3 ok now
I see it uses 5.8.8 and seem to be running fine
Seems to be a pain to get the Sim door open, wish they sent a Sim extractor
Can you stop the update or is it automatic update?
Gary

A SIM extractor is usually among the carton contents. I think you got robbed, bruh Gary.
No stock Fire OS user has replied yet, regarding 5.9.11 (I'm using 5.9.11 with SlimKat, no problem here of course).
Just give it a try [download here], if it doesn't work, just uninstall the update.
The Store will try to update to 5.9.x sooner or later (if you haven't used any methods to prevent that).

I was getting an error when I used my 3/29/2016 order date from my receipt before.
I changed it to 4/1/2016 and it accepted my promo registration.
Thanks again.

I had no clue this was even a thing! Awesome. I was super bummed because my G5 from bestbuy didnt get shipped with a spare battery. (BTW bestbuy is ****, their website has a huge advert showing that if you buy a g5 you get the battery but in super small fine print on the last page of purchase they have a disclaimer telling that they may be out of stock). Even with me being an employee they did not give a care at all.
At least LG is a god tier company.
Noooooooooooooooo, lg why do you have to not include bestbuy in this promotion!!!!!!
=(
Got mine today

Mine finally got approved today. I submitted way back on the 4rth.
Would have been nice to also have the spare plastic battery case in the promo.

Problem with LG G3 Screen

I've attached a photo of my LG G3's screen.
It is refurbished, warantee is probably out of the question and I just want to know what the problem is so I can evaluate whether or not to waste the effort/money to fix it.
EDIT: not sure whether it is relevant information but my phone has a custom ROM and is rooted as well.
Over the past few days I've started using an extended 8200mAH battery that has no real back cover.
And I think even a bit earlier than that circuit like marks started appearing on the very borders of the screen(EVEN if it is turned off! as you can see in the picture).
Anyone has any idea what it is? and if I can do something about it? (Probably moisture I believe... but I don't know what to do if this is the case).
Thanks to all helpers.

Which cheap tablet (with micro-sd) works with LineageOS?

I'm looking for a tablet with LOS suppport, but the official builds are for brand tablets that are either very expensive or very old (and still expensive, even if I buy a used one with worn-out batteray).
It's purely for website browsing, ebooks and an occasional movie - it doesn't even need cell support, Wifi-only is sufficient. It should have expandable storage with micro-sd though.
Could anyone give me a hint which current cheaper tablets have a LOS 19/18.1 build, or in case these aren't available even older LOS (an inofficial build is just fine)?
I'm asking because there's no 'tablet' list for LOS, neither official nor inofficial, and I'm completely confused by the flood of smartphone builds...
Thanks!
Asus Nexus 7 (2013)
Or check here:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/
And search (CTRL+F) for tab or pad, that'll show you 6 as of now. Unfortunately, some devices like the previously mentioned Nexus 7 won't show up (edit: by that search for tab)...
You can also try the same by using the switch "Show discontinued devices" on top, then there will be 39x tab and 6x pad.

It does show up at the google section:
Oh. Yes, yes, it's there, of course. Just one wouldnt find it with looking for tab/pad.
Sorry for such halfbaked precision
