root (stump) , re-root (IOROOT), BUMP, TRWP,
Rooted with STUMP initially just fine. Then had to factory reset due to a malfunctioning app.
Stump does not (yet) support re-root after reset unless you flash back to stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/root-stump-root-lg-g3-sprint-verizon-t2850906

BUT, since i'm somewhat of a n00b, i used Flashify from the Google Play store to flash the image. Worked flawlessly. http://www.droidforums.net/threads/...ock-and-install-recovery-on-any-lg-g3.275056/

hi, ı wanna ask somethıng, ı have verızon model g3 too, and ı am living in turkey but some app is not working correctly in here, for example ı cant get any weather alert tips from the smart tip and ı can not use the mobile hotspot without verizon sim card and extra little thıngs, what sshould ı do for these problem. ı ame using my phone without root now, and is there any possible to load turkey stock rom
Windows PC will not recognize LG G3 in stock recovery mode, cannot connect via ADB
Is this a driver issue? Everthing is fine until i enter stock recovery....
Downgrade Firmware
I am not getting the option for sideload it just reloads the machine and I choose to update via adb but then comes up and says I need to backtrack on my firmware, I am not even sure where the version is listed or how to downgrade it.

Hi i am from india, having an international version of lg g3 d855 32gb version. I had 4.4.2 and l rooted tht successfully with purple drake ( towelroot/ stumproot/ioroot didnt work for me then). However thereafter i flashed the leaked 5.0 rom (non rooted ) with kdz flasher.Thus i lost TWRP also . Now i cannot root the handset. I want to install the rooted 5.0 rom. But cant install TWRP. Need desperately a way to root the lg g3 D855 32 gb version on android 5.0. Please help me. Thanks in advance

right now i am stuck with another problem. flashed CM 11 and lost laf partition without any backup and now cant flash kdz with lg flash tool 2014 and hence stuck with cm11
LG G3 IORoot 4.4.2 D855 (11c) (Europe) mac
Ok so i have been trying to root my lg g3 with ioroot several times. i use mac computer. (phone description in title)
first, i connect the usb cable, select PTP and open latest ioroot mac file. run it, select the apply update from ADB.
after that, when my phone triest to verify the pack i try to install (regular) it says: failed to verify whole-file signature. then i reboot. PLZ HELP

Root Problem with LG G3

I'm having a problem with rooting my LG G3. I tried to use purple drake. It failed. I'm getting an error message below.
ERROR: Your phone is not running a compatible software version. No vulnerable mode detected, rebooting phone. We tried to temproot you, and it didn't work. This phone isn't vulnerable, it would appear.
........
My phone's specs;
Model Number: LG-D855
Android Version : 5.0
Build Number: LRX21R.A1419207951
Software Version: V20f-EUR-XX

My phone does NOT work so I'm not sure why the change log states 12B.
What was upgraded, fixed, etc from 10B to 12B? Not really a fan of downgrading.

No there isnt unless you downgrade to KitKat
But it seems i cant find any KitKat firmwares for the F400L online

In as much as the g3 is a GREAT "looking" fone with "some" great aspects.
after going thru the issues i have met with my korean version, LG has created A DISASTER
there are more than 12 dif. versions none is even close to the other.
the korean versions are ORPHANS they have download and recovery entries issues no developers
ONLY the d855 seems to have a bit of a base.
my advise look for a kitkat KDZ file or TOT and load them via download root it with towel root and don't ever think about
doing anything else.
this is my first and last ever LG fone.
even the ONE+ has better developers than this crap.
google f400k 10a or 10e files and load them, root with towel root and be happy
the kdz 10a or 10e are available in some vietnamese boards
supposedly they have the 20e and 20h versions and after loading these under recovery
if you go back also under recovery and load a preset superuser 2.39 you're supposed to be able to root it
it never worked for me, once i set the lollipop, i have no way of getting into recovery mode and if i do both
under TWRP to fone craps
i personally am waiting for the ONE+ TWO and will give this one away, it's a LEMON.

I was on Android 5.0.1 on my att g3 , but i did stupid things so... i brick my phone, i did an unbrick

Im using a Canadian version of the LG G3 D852g on Videotron network.
I have been able to root and twrp the phone no problem. I have tried most of the roms available (candy cm 12 etc)
I installed cloudy 2.5 for my model of phone and since then i have been unable to revert to the stock OS via the KDZ method or TOT.
What is odd is that the KDZ worked no problem until after i installed cloudy 2.5
The KDZ method would now stall at 2% and indicate that it can not find my device. (yes i know drivers com port 41 etc etc etc)
I downloaded tot file and dll required for my device and when i run the LG flash tool.
SO then i tried the TOT method to revert to kit kat. and this is where i got a weird error message

I am running 20A (Poland Beta) because I am not able to downgrade to Lollipop. I don't know what happend but if I try to downgrade using LGUP (the same way as 2 months ago) it stucks at 13% and error 0X2000.
Can anybody help me ? I only want my specific system ACZELD.

I already downgraded my system. I downloaded the SAME kdz 3 times. For the last time, downgrade was successfull, but I don't know why, because on my friend's G4 also first two downloaded KDZs was OK
