It's a D855 16GB model. I cannot update it to v30b. It says that the latest software version is v21a. How do I install the Marshmallow update?
Thanks...
If you lived at Poland, you will get the notification. If not, flash .kdz is your solution.

- If i want to unroot my phone i see in the tutorial that there is some links one of them ask what serial you have, i have a LG G3 D855 10H. In the tutorial i see only the 10D and 10 E. If i want to unroot what do i need to use the 10D or 10E or is there a 10D version on XDA?
thx for answering
I can only answer in regards to the LG updates, as I have the T-Mobile variant and am unsure with the D855.
With root, you can still accept and download LG updates that are for LG apps and so forth, as you'll see them pop up in the Settings menu.

But you won't be able to install OTA firmware updates while rooted, if you try it will give an error and it will just go back to normal like before you tried to update.
You can download official firmware KDZ files and update manually by using a flash tool. All relevant help with regards to doing this is in various threads on the forum.

Hi,
I have the LG H815P variant, this is my first android phone, and would love to know how/where to check if it has received 6.0. Is there a specific website? Can I force the update somehow?
Thank you
If you want the easy way check on Lg bridge for your phone software.

Does it depend on where I am located, what country I mean and not the variant model?
Yeah..different countries get the update sooner..Poland for example

Sorry for my questions but what are the downsides and is there a guide/link to a tutorial or something?
You can install the INT h815 MM but you will have no root as there's no unlocked bootloader for that model
