I have rooted Wildfire, but can't connect to some other mobile network.
What i must to do for that?
you need to pay to get the phone sim unlocked. root doesnt = sim unlock.
root doesnt unlock
root doesnt unlock your phone network
the only ways you can unlock your phone is by rooting using xtc clip (unlocks phone)
buying a code or by chance a dev finds out how to make a software to do it for free
Depending on your carrier and the length of time you've had the phone, sometimes you can get it unlocked for free. You should check the forums for your carrier to find out.
Is there a way or app that I can use on this phone so that I can view my SIM Unlock Code AFTER the phone is already SIM Unlocked?
I ask because I bought two of these phones unlocked and would like to have the Unlock codes saved just in case I need them later.
Somehow I seem to have messed up or lost my unlock on one of the phones after I rooted it and flashed a new recovery / rom.
It was unlocked, now, If I put an ATT sim in it asks for my unlock code again and I do not have it, as the phone was unlocked when I got it.
Though, when I press *#7465625# to it says all the locks are turned off, like my phone should be unlocked?
Any idea why it is asking for my unlock code again, and if there is a way to get around it being that the phone was unlocked?
Is there a way to recover this unlock code?
Thanks guys!

Currently there isn't a way to view the code. Several of us have been digging through the system of the device to see where it's coded too. the thread here is where it's being conversed about. click here
How do you know for certain the phones were unlocked when you bought it? Did you try swapping Sims before you flashed anything to it?
I have mine unlocked and have flashed; two roms, cwm, a radio, and a few mods......still unlocked. I constantly swap Sims between my crap work phone and my Samsung, always works.

The person I bought both phones from told me they were both unlocked.
The first one I tried worked, the second one I never tried an ATT Sim until after I rooted, flashed, etc and then it wouldn't work.
He emailed just emailed me the Unlock codes for both phones and they work fine.
Either way, it's all good now. Thanks for the help guys!

I have an unlock HTC Vivid phone, a few months ago it got completely wet, i got it dried and it turned on again. But i have a problem with it, the phone is network locked, so i went to have it unlock it again but every time they enter the code the phone reboots and ask again for the unlock code. The phone is rooted and had a custom rom. the question is, is there a way that the phone saves the code and doesn't ask for it anymore?
will it work again?
Hey all,
If I do a temporary SIM unlock, will I be able to flash custom firmware on to my device, or does it need to be permanently unlocked? I went to Developer Options in Settings after the temporary unlock and OEM unlocking was greyed out and disabled. If it doesn't work, does anyone know how else I can SIM unlock the device without mobdeep while he isn't taking any requests (any updates on that by the way?) or without meeting the T-Mobile eligibility requirements?
Thanks in advance!
Since T-Mobile will release a temporarily full phone unlock, isn't there anyway for a developer get the bootloader unlock and sim unlock source from inside the phone since it's unlocked? It sounds weird that developers take months to get a sim unlock and the carrier can do an unlock any way they like. There should be a method to push an unlock on any android phone remotely. Do i make sense?
A sim unlock has nothing to do with a bootloader unlock. T-Mobile SIM unlocked my S22 the day i got it, a few days before release.
