[Q] Porting rom for zenfone 2 - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Why can't you develop a porting like Samsung, HTC, Miui for our zenfone 2...?
Chipset Intel isn't good for this works?

That's right ... Arm versus Intel. Need other drivers...

What kind of drivers need?
Arm.....

If devs here are able to port it, it would be 100% ARM and won't boot.

If applicable, it could. But, we mostly can't port ARM apps into x86 apps.

It's like running ios on Android...
The CPU's are completely different.
ARM processor in about 99.9% of other phones versus Intel CPU in our phone.

...for a phone with 4gb ram would be nice to try roms of other brands.
And it can not do anything about the switch of 4g or 3g in the secondary sim?

it is normal that is not updatable Play Store? there is a newer version? I've noticed that does not work opening applications
Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
Yea that is normal. If you want better Google now support you need a JB rom. You can only get so far with Google now on an ICS device.

Any chance of porting the G3 ROM to the Glad?

I have a G2 running Cloudy G3 and was wondering if it would be possible to port it to the GPad? It's an amazing ROM and I love continuity. What do you guys think?
That would be awesome

Project Treble

So I'm gonna install a GSI rom since my phone doesn't have any official rom available and I don't think it's coming any soon.
My phone is an Huawei P Smart (FIG-LX1) and I heard that A only GSI are buggy and bad in general...Is it true?? Should I go for a rom from the Open Kirin project???
Thanks in advance!

Your hardware looks pretty similar to mine! Are you running that rom? If yes, is it good for battery and performance? Is it stable?
