I purchased a second hand G4 phone, hardware is single sim, but os is for dual sim h818p v10k. I have unusable dual sim functions on my phone that I want to get rid off.
I do not know what variant it is,F500k or H815t or H815p or just h815. I do not know what os should I download.
Can I install/refurbish the OS with h815p or H815 or F500k using LGUP? Will it accept it? I want to get rid of the dual sim functions that Im not gonna use, and because it is messing up with my messaging app.

I'm a user of LG G4 Dual SIM model and know a little software information how to build Cyanogenmod open source.
so I want know how many guys are using LG G4 Dual SIM model, like H818, H818N and H819.
I didn't find any open source for LG G4 Dual SIM models until now， I want to try but the number of LG G4 dual SIM model user is very import.
so I want to know that to decide whether to develop it. I need your voice and support thank you for everybody.
I almost bought it (H818) today, but I didn't becouse I need LTE B4. Is there any way to enable this band? If it would be possible, I'd love CM!!!
If it´s available i install CM. Use LG G4 Dual Sim (H815P)
818p here and would love to switch to CM/aosp, that's how it was on my g2 and would love to keep it so on the g4 (dont have anything against factory rom but i personaly prefer the Google experience) even if it means no perfect factory cam software...

I think we will need unlocked bootloader first.. will be great for flashing custom mods to enjoy the modified stock
I am very pleased with the stock LG experience. However, I am missing the systemui and Caller UI from the vanilla Android
and the most important CM support for me is after discontinuation of LG support/updates for the device
This is going to sound like a noob question, but I have been a HTC user for the last 3 years (M7 and M8) and LG is a little different.
So, I always check this XDA page for useful information when choosing a phone. I have seen 2 versions of the LG G4: h811 and h815. What are these and what is the difference?
Also I am deciding between the G4 and the OnePlus 2 so what do you think I should get?

H811 is t-mobile. H815 is international variant. If you do get a G4 you'll want the H815 but look for the european model or else you won't be able to unlock the bootloader and install new roms (cyanogenmod etc)
You can unlock, root, and ROM them both. You just have to carrier-unlock the 811 if you take it off T-Mobile.

I recently got stung by bootloop on my H815 505xxx serial. But I loved G4. and I am planning on buying it again
This time, an H818 ofcourse serian number greater than 509xxx . My questions are the following:-
Are all H818 bootloader unlockable ?
What is H818P and what is H818N
Are there any other hidden risks I might find out later ?
What else do I keep in mind ?
I heard of bad battery timing on H818 because its two SIMs. But i dont actually run dual sim so would it affect battery life ?
Hello guys, I bought a LG G4. The seller today said that they have sent a H818P Dual SIM version. I already have an G4 H815 European Version and I wanted exactly the same one to easily unlock bootloader, root new ROM flash etc. after warranty period.
Should I send it back or should I accept it? What do you suggest to me? Will it be easy to find custom ROMs for H818P in the future (2 years later).
Also, is there any significant differences between them especially for my country Turkey? I have read some posts about rooting H818P with H815 ROMs. Are they easy to cope with? Or is it better to send it back.
