I see that there are CyanogenMod ROMS so far, the problem is the camera and wi-fi, I was told may be the sources or kernel, is it?
You might check Ron G's CM9, it has WiFi working

Google for 'compile android kernel from source'.
Youl need to pull repo content to your linux based pc firstly and then make a bit of effort.

Yup, it sure is unusual for Mediatek SoC kernel source to be released...but then, I suppose Android One is a whole new chapter, so...Yay!
(Nope, I just like showing off my super fast internet! )
Help.

Not sure how I can help without the device. I also don't build in the CM tree, so I can't help you there either. What I can do is try to create a device tree to build with the Omni files, if you have a stock recovery somewhere, and I can build with that and you can see if it at least boots. If it does, you can compare my tree to yours and make whatever updates are necessary. If you could link to the specs of the device (like on GSMArena), that would also be helpful.
EDIT: I just saw this is a MediaTek device, so I might not be able to do much. I usually only deal with Qualcomm devices. I have no experience with MediaTek SoCs.

I know that. My friend who has successfully booted said that because the memory of the device that can install the app is less than the rom file, it can't be booted. All you need to do is delete the app and find a suitable recovry to load the kernel

I cleaned the rom so that it fit in the device's memory. It worked, the rom installed. However, it didn't boot. It could have been the kernel, but I can't say.
