Preload Partition
is it possible to merge preload with System or Data to have some extra memory on device.
I see bloated apps on preload partition which we usually dont use.
And is it advisable to merge preload ?

it is good , can u give more detail information about this.
Very interesting
Very interesting.. But what's all about?
Very intresting trying now.
Just a heads up if you are flashing recovery_raw directly on CLK you will have to resize the partition size to 7MB
mounting of sd-ext(ext3/ext4) partition is supported but has to be done by command line. ie adb shell.
Flash via Recovery file:
before please resize the partition size to 7MB before Flash

★Quick FAQ About Porting★

Unofficial Treble Questions

I see a few ROMS have popped up with Treble support. So how does this work? I assume the devices haven't been repartitioned. And I see the /cust partition is being used as the vendor partition. Does this mean we can flash any generic Treble ROM? Or do they have to be modified to mount /cust as /vendor? Does anything change for the device or do certain ROMS just have a different partition layout that matches Treble?
Thanks.

You flash the newest official TWRP and one of the Treble enabled ROMs from this forum. Then you can flash any GSI you want. I tried it and it works excellent. The TWRP tells the GSIs that /cust is /vendor.

Android 12 GSI quick test

Hi,
Download GSI arn64-ab
Credits: @phhusson
- Unpack
- fastboot erase system
- fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
- fastboot flash system system.img
- factory reset in Stock recovery
(but I don't know if it's worth it...)
Not working: camera, mobile data, BT, SD Card access...

I booted too. Fastboot flash system and factory reset with stock recovery was all it took for me. I didn't use vbmeta or erase system commands. Phenix kernel have no issue booting it btw.

Same with [GSI] PixelExperience 12.0 v400.a (but that it is an initial version).
P.S.: only OpenCamera from F-droid works.
I think the A11 GSI is the max on our device (also on the other hi6250 A/B). We will see .
Upd.: Vector camera works too.
