I'm using NHL adapter to play HD movies via HDMI on my TV from my galaxy nexus. The thing is that when the movie requires hardware decoding the subtitles show on the phone but not on the TV.
When i switch to software decoding they do show on the TV but it doesn't play smooth.
So seems like the hardware decoding forgets the subtitles. Are there any drivers that can fix that? Or maybe it's from the player? (mx video)
I guess nobody has stuck on that yet
same thing is happening to me when i play HQ movies over MHL/HDMI all players show only subtitles on the nexus screen and none on my LED TV . . .
i guess the problem is with the hardware decoding that is used for the subtitles . . .
there is a custom made player for the Galaxy SII but i dont know if it works for the nexus also + dont know if its ICS compatible . . .

Im interested in buying a Samsung bluray player and I know these days they are wireless, and some are compatible with allshare cast, play, blahblahblah. So my question is, what Samsung bluray player do you have and what exactly have you been able to do so far? Please include your model number to confirm features and how well they work. Thanks a lot.
I highly doubt the galaxy s3 interacts with bluray players, it can be used as a remote control for your samsung tv that supports it but bluray players and galaxy s3 have nothing to do with each other.

I saw a youtube video where someone made their phone into a remote control.. I dont remember what they used or how they did it, but i do remember it was all done over Bluetooth. So there must be an app on the market to allow it to function as a bluetooth remote control.
