Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me who experienced the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Marshmallow update? Do the camera has the Manual Shutter speed in "Pro Mode"? If yes, How far its worth having as just a software update? Will it work properly without the actual hardware mechanism upgrade?
I do take lots of photos with my S6.. So, i want to know if the shutter speed is actually functioning properly as intended, specifically in Low light.
Any information you provide will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

No one has tested it yet??
Yes in the Pro mode you can adjust the iso the shutter speed, from 1/24000 to 10 seconds, also you can save your pictures in RAW format

Hello, so I'm wondering if there's any way of improving the Galaxy Tab Pro 8MP camera?
1. I know that it's an 8MP camera so it's not like we can switch it with a 12MP camera or something, and are limited to how the pictures taken can be improved.
2. My Tab Pro is Stock Non-Rooted, so that limits what I can do even more.
3. I know how to use HDR, so count that out.
4. I open to trying other Camera apps.
5. Even though I'm not rooted, I would appreciate anyone & everyone's input on improving the camera picture quality because even though you're input might not be helpful to me because of my limitations, it may be helpful to someone else who doesn't have the same limitations and is looking to improve their camera picture quality.
ALL INPUTS ON IMPROVING CAMERA/PICTURE QUALITY ARE APPRECIATED AND WELCOME!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
hi, i do not know if you came to this dilemma before but i have Oneplus 3 and a friend offered to swap phones... i was looking for a better camera... Oneplus 3 has a "thing" when shooting at moving objects and if you try to take a photo of your baby its impossible... almost every picture is blury.... how is the HTC 10 camera when you shoot moving objects? i am looking forward for your replies!!! thanks!!
every camera will blury when you take a moving objects unless you speed up the shutter speed, so it just depends on if you know how to use the camera with shutter priority/full manual.

Correct.
Try to shop Manual mode on Oneplus3, set shutter speed minimum 1/60 minimum (if indoor), depends the baby moving,
try to shot outdoor, you can set 1/500+, shot flash to baby eyes it NOT allowed (i forgot 3/5 years old is allowed, just search on google)
try to learn about Exposure in photography (iso, aperture, shutter speed) this will useful in life of photography.
i have oneplus3 for testing, is a great device. so swap to HTC10 will not resolve this issue, if you still using Auto. :fingers-crossed:
thank you very much guys!! it might be a software issue of the app... when in auto mode it selects wrong iso/exposure??? before OP3 i had a galaxy S6 and i used it always in auto mode with fine results... i will definetely try your advise!!
That's because Samsung camera app will detect the scene, if it found something moving fast then it will switch to "sport" mode(something like that, forget the actual name). For HTC 10 I dunno will it have similar function in auto mode, but the 10 official camera app really lack of function
Now that this phone has been out for awhile is there any feedback on suggested camera apps or is the stock app the best we can expect? Comparing side by side with a Samsung S7 my Zen3 Deluxe pics seem really bland. Unless the Samsung is auto applying a filter when you view it the difference in color and brightness is quite remarkable. I know we have decent guts , but wonder if the software is limiting the quality. Anyone find other apps that give you full capability and better quality? The Google camera app does not recognize all the MP resolutions I found.
Was wondering if anyone knows if the A50 can shoot RAW DNG?
Has anyone accomplished this? I am guessing this phone doesn't come Camera2Api enabled. If so wondering if anyone has confirmed that the A50 can shoot raw/dng maybe with root and enabling the C2API
Thanks in advance.
Have you tried using the Google camera apk?
The google camera app keeps crashing so thats not a option
Any solution here ? Other blogs indicate A50 may not shoot raw - eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-a-series/galaxy-a-series-raw-photo-capture-better-camera-functionality/td-p/1547514
Thanks !

you can't friend shoot in raw format. nor do I handle the shutter speed ... the truth is that the a50 camera at night is terrible ... I come from the g6 plus c the gcam and it is terrible how I took photos ... I created a post asking if they would change it to the Samsung a50 for a g8 plus that has Snapdragon and allows you to take decent night photos ... but hey, no one answered me .. I'm not sure what to do because they offered me a g8 plus but the super amoled screen of the a50 and the mirror function of the smartview on the other hand make me not want to change it ...
Hello! I recently discovered the zero camera mod for the s9 (because I was looking to extend the shutter speed). I am wondering, what is the maximum possible shutter speed using this mod? I am using a galaxy s9 with exynos processor running the latest (official) software updates, I have no problem rooting it, assuming it is possible to achieve 30+ seconds shutter speed using this mod.
Thank you!
