In this thread I'll present an New ROM for Nokia X/XL (normandy). This is an unofficial build, so this not supported by Nameless ROM team.

Installation Instructions:
1- You need to already have custom recovery (Tested With TWRP 3.0.0).
2-Backup your whole ROM (if you want).
3- For Nokia XL:
Do Wipe then Flash the ROM.
For Nokia X:
Do Wipe then Flash the ROM and X Patch.
- No need to flash GApps because its already preloaded in the ROM.

After Installing The ROM:
1- Open Settings - Sim Cards - Configure Sim Cards then Active your sims.
2- Open Settings - Storage - Press Menu and choose USB connection then check MTP.
3-Open Settings - About Phone - Press 8 times on build number - go back and open Device Control - CPU Settings - change Governor to on demand - Change Minimum to 245 - Check Set on boot.
4- For using only 3G mode: Open the" dialer ", dial * # * # 4636 # * # * then change it.
5- Before starting video recording, change the quality to 480p.
6- To Enable Navigation Bar: Open Settings - Navigation Bar - choose enable navbar.

About ROM sources, I do not have them, because this is ported ROM not built from scratch. I don't have powerful internet connection to clone the source git.
For Kernel source, I used NULL kernel. You can have it here

1. After installing, enable Developer Options and go to Settings > Performance and uncheck Set Thermal. Then go to Processor and change Max to 1008 MHz
2. M8 in title is Milestone-8 (not HTC M8) Some people get confused with Milestone 8 and HTC M8, according to this :laugh:

ROM is so smooth and responsive. Touch is nice.

If only storage is fixed, it could be used as daily rom.

i installed the rom and used it for over an hour now, everything is working great , alot of features to personalize the phone, battery backup is good, games running without lag, and ram usage is good atleast 100mb are free ... .

Please note that I have a weird Nokia XL. Working very well on this phone. It is actually the most stable 4.4.4 on my phone. The only three issues are:
1. Camera not working on this phone. All patches for camera are currently not working on my phone anyway. For whatever reason. I am thinking to reinstall stock ROM and then flash this.
2. Radio not there at all which I have realised is common for most cynogenmod custom rom.
3. I am finding it difficult to select 3G in the prefered network type settings. It is fixed on 2G.

I have tried changing to ART, phone reboots but doesn't change .
I have verified data/property/persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib in text editor and still says libdvm.so means Dalvik.
Not sure about Carbon Rom. I am using CM11 and above behavior is on CM11 rom

Installation Instructions:
1- You need to already have custom recovery (Tested With TWRP 3.0.0).
2-Backup your whole ROM (if you want).
3- For Nokia XL:
Do Wipe then Flash the ROM.
For Nokia X:
Do Wipe then Flash the ROM and X Patch.
- No need to flash GApps because its already preloaded in the ROM.

5- Before starting video recording, change the quality to 480p.

Hotspot is not working.
How do you say its stable and its missing apps like music and memo , im sorry but its a nice rom . and i cant find the cpu setting can anyone help. i have tried and download no frills cpu controller and its still laggin and overheating. thanx im using nkia xl

Well, great rom so far. But according to OP, i can not find device control. So this rom is draining battery so fast. I think you need to update the rom to include device control. Please, really love this rom

Bro , I flashed this using TWRP 3.0.0.It was successful I guess(it shows some message like patching system image....script succeeded blah blah.)But after that I'm stuck in a bootloop.Am I doing anything wrong?

Decent, better than daredevil but tron is better.
However,though, there is no alternative yet!
@HDHR does the "OK,google" voice command always ask for voice calibration, or is it only the first time. That is a bug on all non-google devices. As I mentioned at the other thread, the app "chopassistant " fixes (works around) the bug.

how stable is it......and does jio sim work.....
also does hotspot work......also how is the sd card read in this rom......same as mm or is it different.......

I have try that two times . Every time the phone ends in dead Black screen ! After 15minut blackscreen i put of battery and turn phone on. But ony supersu app Is instaled , but the device isint rooted,

Tried all that ! Still unable to call. Touch sensitivity problem also felt. Made a backup of this - hoping for a better tomorrow- and using the previous ROM !
