Hello guys
yesterday I update my z5p to Android 6 mm. after that, I can unlock the screen by fingerprint only if I've locked it by physical button
if I lock by an app, like "screen off and lock", when I try to unlock the z5p it ask me only the password
I wiped the z5p (hard reset), but the strange thing persist
With preview Android 5.1.1 no problem!

n,
hi, it seems to be a double security feature, on any fresh reboot or boot i have to input my unlock pin or password, after that i only have to scan my thumb, also google play seems to require pass/pin input on initial setup. There is an option in regular settings of your rom to instantly lock the screen on screen off.
m
Yes seems to be a double security because if my finger isn't recognised, system doesn't propose immediatly the pin/password.
Into security settings if I set "lock immediately" or "after..... Seconds" the problem always persist.

me too, because I think that Nova and "screen off and lock" (and all other apps tested) using same method to lock
this feature is too much annoying!

On marshmallow you can't use software to lock your phone, the fingerprint lock will only work if the screen timeout or lock by using the physical button. If I'm not wrong it is also a known issue with Nexus devices. I'm using Screen Lock Pro and have Smart Lock enable but it takes awhile to lock the phone and fingerprint unlock will works.

Have you tried lock your phone using the physical power button? See if the fingerprint lock works.

Make sure you enable "Smart lock and Nexus imprint" after you install Screen Lock Pro

What Smart Lock Pro does is that it temporary sets screen lock time to the minimum (7 seconds on MM), gets the app into immersive mode with black screen, and then dims the brightness to the minimum level.
So far, there is no screen off app on MM that can actually break Smart Lock or Nexus imprint screen off policy.

I just installed Ridiculous Fishing and noticed that my phones gyro is not working properly. When my phone is flat the game thinks its tilted to the left. I have to tilt my phone to the right so much just to get the center point correct. Is there a fix for this?
You should calibrate the gyro

Didn't work. I also tried an app called GPS Status that also has calibration. Didn't work too.
I was able to fix the issue by following the steps for sensor calibration here:

Thanks anyway!

Could someone port this feature alone via an APP. The one with no root necessary or flashing a ROM. I think a lot of people would like that. Thank you!
I would like that too
for the always on display....the s7 kernel is needed which samsung has not released the source code yet. so just be cool....if the source code is released, we will get it

That's a bad rip off of a feature that only drains 1% per hour just like night clock. That probably drains 10% per hour. Also it looks horrible lol.

What are you talking about? I don't see it. I have searched on setting and also via S Finder. No setting with an "Always" word in it. Care to post a screenshot?
I'm on Sixperience Rom, it's the Dpad version MM 6.01 which is STOCK from the Edge Plus.
But as far as I'm aware the plus doesn't have the S7 always on feature either.
Come on guys.. Clock on your hand clock on the edge clock on the Walls clock on Pc's, at last how many clocks?

If anybody knows.. but maybe there's no option to choose home screen by the moment. I hope it can be enabled like MIUI 8.

Nope. There is no option to change the default homescreen. The left one is always the home screen. Copying iPhone gone wrong.

In the upcoming update you'll be able to choose the home screen.
