LG G4 LG-H815 UK. Bluetooth problems
1. Bluetooth keeps turning itself back on after I turn it off.
2. Bluetooth does not work with my car Parrot Neo Minikit (other phones work fine). It pairs ok, but does not transmit or receive audio. it works with an old Jabra or a plantronics headset.
Is there a way to make it stay off, when it's turned off?
I want to do this, as it tries to pair each time, stopping my other phone.
It seems all G4 with Marshmallow are affected:

They promised to check the case, I'll keep an eye on that thread.

So I bought some LD 158 handsfree clone. Of course it lacks built-in voice dialing and contacts integration, but I was able to use Google search to select contact by voice. Audio quality (both directions) of this device is quite good and costs about 20%-25% of Parrot Neo Minikit.
Minikit will stay and wait for LG G4 Android update (if it comes) or another phone in the future.
Shame on Parrot, shame on LG.
Same problem for my wife's LG G4 and Parrot Minikit Neo.
Her Lumia 950 used to work fine with it, as my son's Xperia Z3c, my Z5c and now my XZ.
The LG G4 just works fine with the Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD!

Hi
I have the european version of the LG G3 and it is not able to find my Sonixx x-touch bluetooth headphones. Could that be something to do with the android Lolipop installed on the phone ? I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of support on android 5.0, seems that a lot of things aren't willing to be working.
Hello,
just wanted to know if it is possible to get aptx bluetooth for the nexus device per MOD ?
A lot of new phone support it out of factory (http://www.aptx.com/category/phones) , but not Nexus 5x.
Thanks for your interest!
have a nice day
I just got a set of AptX compatible headphones, and noticed a lot of LG phones are AptX compatible (minus the 5X from the lists I've seen). Is the hardware in the Nexus 5X not capable? I would love to hear the difference between standard bluetooth and AptX enabled bluetooth sound.
Aptx require license, which costs money. Google didn't bought it, so there is no support.
Hi guys,
Found a pretty good deal for the P2 on black friday here in Sweden (259 euros) and also got myself some Sony NC headphones (Mdr 1000x). Now I noticed that P2 only have A2DP bluetooth.
I would want to be able to have AptX/LDAC cause of the significant audio quality increase for music, is it possible with a Custom ROM (LineageOS etc), or should I just hope that Android O will be released for the P2?
Thanks in advance!
Hi ,
so I recently bought the global version of this model and
on Gsm arena theres a feature listed called : " - Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic" so this is nothing
new Sony had that feature for years in their Z series however you had to buy special Sony in ears to make use of the feature.
How is that with the Xiaomi ? I couldnt find any Xiaomi headphones that advertised compatibiliy with this feature.
Is this a hardware feature (so it will work with lineage os etc. and sony headphones) or a software feature ?
Thanks in advance .
You are more than clueless...
ANC is hardware. The „Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic” is only for video recording, calls and so on. It has nothing to do with active noise cancellation headphones.
And yes, there are some xiaomi headphones with that. But any Sony headphone with ANC should work fine.
Hi guys, I've recently adopted an S9. I'm loving it. One of the best Samsung experiences I've had over the years. I moved from an Honor Play. What I was wondering is, like the Honor Play, is it possible to connect 2 bluetooth devices at the same time on the S9? I'm aware of Dual Audio for 2 different speakers, but what I truly want is to connect my GearSport watch and IconX headphones at the same time when they arrive. Is this possible? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Yes this would be possible
of course, you can pair i think 7 or 8 devices
