[Q] Seriously guys i want your help. please....!! Airplane mode problem

Yesterday i install a custom Rom 4.2.2 after kitkat cyanogenmod BR2. before installation i put my phone on airplane mode.
after installation my HD is showing signal bars (white colored) and on top no service and cross sign.
other sim networks works perfectly only Telenor network has this problem.
i have tried changing radio version. now i am on latest one.
i have tried full wipe and install again kitkat and jellybean no success.
please guys help me what should i do.

So, other SIMs are working with different radio versions? I think that your phone is fine.

Might be a trouble from operator side. Check Telenor SIM on other phone.
If it will work - flash factory ship ROM on yor DHD and flash original radion version.
It's strange mystical part, but stock ROM resolves a lot of troubles

Thanks for reply other sims works fine with ever version of radio only that telenor sim doesn't work as before flashing a new rom i put my DHD in airplane mode i think that is the main problem...
if i do same process with other sim ( before flashing other rom put DHD in airplane mode ) then that sim network will not work also..those sims will work fine in other cellphone.
like i use the same process( before flashing other rom put DHD in airplane mode ) with Mobilink sim it shows signals but when i call or sms it says Mobile network not available (in screenshot)
and when i use Telenor it says no service (in screenshot)
when i try to choose a mobile network manually in settings it says "your sim doesn't allow a connection to this network" (in screenshot).
and when i try to choose a mobile network automatically in settings it says "Can't connect to this network right now try again latter" (in screenshot).
other sims works fine
all screenshots are attached with other information
please help me.please :crying:
update : also tried latest RUU same problem again

This Is strange... Is your device made in china or taiwan?
Reason for asking this question is that, taiwanese made DHD normally generate certain problems out of the bloom that usually makes no sense.
From my understanding, When you flash a rom, you format the data partition and this partition holds every change you made to the os during the time of use. So there isnt any reason why a mode you left your phone in before flashing another rom should have such an effect.
Have you tried inserting another sim from the same mobile operator?
Edit:: And what rom is that? It looks nice. Can you give me a link to it?

its not chinese version.. i know it is so strange can you tell me it looks like sim locked ?? if that happened may can be unlocked. and Rom is

It cant be a simlock. It takes more than airplane mode to throw a device in sim lock.
And if it was sim lock, it would only accept one particular sim card and not accept some simcards and reject others.
These made in taiwan Desire HDs develop problems that dont mount up to any proper explanation, as i already said.
Like mine, its taiwanese made and when i take out the simcard, it runs smoothly, but as soon as i insert a simcard, the device becomes laggy/slow. i have tried so many things but they all dont seem to work. This isnt the only problem, there are others.
This only leaves me with the conclusion that, the taiwan made DHDs are immetations/fake.

My LG G3 only connects to Edge network

Hello guys.
After a couple of days reading on the internet without success I decided to share my problem here.
I bought a LG g3 D850 32 gb on eBay, once I received it I was so happy enjoying the 4g LTE network, the speed was amazing.
Regrettably, one day all this happiness disappeared, now I only have Edge connection, I don't have 3g, hsdpa or 4g, I only get the awful Edge.
I have tried using my sim card on other phone and I get 3g and hsdpa (that phone does not have 4g) so the problem is on the G3.
I have to say that I have the phone with the stock rom and the only change I've done was to root it with kingroot and deleted (disable) some at&t apps. I thought this was the problem so I restored to factory defaults but the problem did not disappear.
I was thinking in to return the phone but I am in Chile so is a little hard.
I will be grateful if some one could help me with this issue.

What's your base network and are you sure your APN settings are correct?

I had the same problem when I switched the operator. Went there and the man there tried everything but nothing helped. Last thing he suggested was to do a software update, did it an 4G speed came back

I think I will try changing the ROM.

Yes, your cellular provider. What's your cellular provider and what's your APN? Is your sim from AT&T, a foreign provider or from a Chilean network? Does the APN match the SIM provider's APN?
I'm thinking that it's either an APN problem or a band switching problem (since you disabled some AT&T apps) or you just ran through your allotment of 4G data under your contract.
If you've tried your SIM very recently in a friend's phone and it works just fine, then it's probably not a data allotment problem.

I am using a chilean provider with the correct APN, the same I used from the first day when 4g were working fine and the same.
Yesterday I tried mi sim card in other cellphone and I got 4g without problem. I checked the apn and they was the same.
Now I tried with tho different ROMs, I changed the kernel and the modem and I'm still get only EDGE :crying::crying:
I do not know what to do. I think the cellphone is bad

I'm guessing that you may have disabled something when you were deleting the AT&T bloatware. You've got a D850, right?
As @trickie69r has mentioned in a previous thread, try downloading your KDZ direcly from LG's Servers using: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b...XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Replace XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with your own IMEI, which can be found by dialing *#06* in Dialer)
Take a screenshot of your About Phone > Software Info tab before and after and see if anything changes.

I have flashed some Roms, and the problem did not solve.
I have tried to download the stock rom but I can't download it from the link you send me. I can't find D850 stock rom.
Do you have other link to get it?

Did you try using the ROM in this thread, or just installing the AT&T apps to see if those worked?

Yes I tried that rom and stock kit kat and nothing works.
I think the cell phone is defective because I have other LG g3 and works fine

I own lg g4 h812 Canadian version
I bought it from canada and without using a Canadian sim brought it back to India. Here's the problem.
Indian sims like idea airtel vodafine or bsnl they work sometimes i can even make a call sometimes but i don't know how but the phone starts showing emergency calls only even when there is network. The data lte/3g/gprs doesn't work at all. Even the default apn doesn't appear.
So is this a hardware problem
If the sim was Locked then Indian sims should not work at all but i can make calls if i restart the phone.

LG H812 data and calling issue
bro it is all because of incompitable lte and wcdma bands. lg g4 canadian version has different bands that not works with indian service providers

Access the hidden menu on your phone by entering the following on your phone keypad:
*#546368#*812#
then go to Field Test > Modem Settings > LTE Band Selection and select the bands appropriate to your network carrier to see if they're OK or they Fail. Then, still in Modem Settings, scroll down to Network Mode and do the same.
If no help there, your choices are to:
- In Settings > Mobile Data, click on the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar and select Mobile Networks - Network Mode and select your preferred Network mode. Then below there go to Access point names and touch the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar there and enter the New APN settings for the network carrier you're using now.
- if no success there, wipe your modemst1 and modemst2 and reboot - can solve some modem problems.
- if still nothing - flash an appropriate KDZ (good site for the H812 KDZ's - https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h812-firmwares/ ) for your phone model (if your carrier there has VOLTE support for the LG G4, try a Rogers/Fido KDZ), with LGUP-NEW.

LG G3 D851 shows full bar signals but no service

Hey guys i'm having some problems with my lg g3 d851, since the screen of my beloved lg g2 died after 2 years and a half, my friend gave me his lg g3 to use it as a tablet since the phone doesnt recognize any signal at all, right now is running the stock rom for android marshmallow, everything works fine except for the signal that either always keeps in "no service", i already try to put another sim card on the phone and its showing the same problem, already checked the IMEI on the swappa blacklist and everything is okay, here are a few screenshots, any thoughts on how to solve this problem would be very appreciated thank you!

hi thanks for replying, yeah i already modified the APN settings under mobile networks with the APN of my carrier that is IUSACELL (AT&T México) and is still showing the same problem "no service" or "searching"

I had the same problem, try installing another modem, or send me an pm, I have the same mobile company (right now I'm having some problems with the at&t mexico)

I am having a similar problem with my d851 30g. It isvnot rooted and running stock android 6.0 tmobile rom. I am with movistar (mexico) it will have signal and be on the network and then eject the sim saying invalid then reset. Did factory reset. Movistar sim worked for about an hour and then same thing. Have a s from telcel switched and no problem till this Morning. Did the same thing and restarted. Recognized the sim and all fine. I am new to this and could use a little help. As it is connecting with the other sim and not my movistar sim. Possible software issue or corrupted sim?

No network after flashing my s20 ultra

Everything ok network ok calls and everything ok
but can't check for update always tell me registration failed
So i flash with odin but unfortunately network didn't work after flashing
So i flashed another rom network appears but cant make calls or internet
Now my phone works good but no network
Don't know what to do
All what i have now imei 1 imei 2 sn
I don't also remember the original rom come with phone
I flashed the phone without check my old version
Very sad of all this
And dont know what to do
Any help

May be this can help:
I had the same problem abroad. Check settings with your provider are right.
I couldn't find wifi, because my settings using phone abroad where out.
