Camera not working

hi all, I have just updated to the latest shady rom and now my camera doesnt work, anyone have any idea please. sorry if this is in the wrong section.

change the camera to 'camera'
you will need to click the track ball to take a photo or start recording

[ Solved] [Sense 2.5]Contact Picture - No saving buttons :(

Hello my friends
I have a little problem on my WM6.5 rom.
When i go on the contact tab, i click on a button in order to a add a new favorite contact.
I select my contact on the list, and next, i select the first choice in order to attach a picture at my contact.
I can zoom in or zoom out in order to "crop" the picture, the problem is that i don't have at the bottom the two buttons ( Back and Done), so i cannot save my picture for my contact.
If i try to do the same directly with the HTC album, i have the two button.
Do you have some ideas about this little problem ?

SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM :
Just use an older version of "Media_Tool_Kit"

hi, give it a go and save contact to phone is the first thing to do than You can set Your tab

My phoneNumbers are not in the sim but on the phone, and i canno "save" mi picture.
When i cropp them, i don't have the two buttons ( Back and Done)

[Q] Defy 2.3 (CianogenMod 7) call record

Hello all!
Does anybody knows any way to call records on Gingerbread? On Froyo I used China telephone hack for it. Similar solution on 2.3 is exist? Thanks for any advices!
P.S. I've used search, but not found anything :-( Maybe I searched bad, but English not mother tongue for me, sorry...

Install CM7 RC1.5 and install the zip from this post via Recovery afterwards.
Then use Total Recall or similar app for recording.

But on a half only - can record voice from another side and don't record me. Maybe anything wrong in settings? Do you know?

i had the same problem. just use recording method 4 from the settings and it will record in full duplex (both sides)

Hmmm... I downloaded Total Recall from market, it has only 3 strategies - A, B and C. What does "method 4" mean? I tried all 3 strategies, works only one - automatic records ALL calls. It's very waste for memory...
I found Call Recorder (developer is "ITS On Mobile"). That's soft works almost fine, I can choose, record or not every call, but program requires too many permissions (f.eg. SMS sending or unlimited internet access), it may be dangerous... So, can I any way to limit application rights?
UPD: Problem solved, permissions change - built in function of CianogenMod 7

Its strategy c with total recall. But that would have been really easy to try yourself - faster than posting here.

P.S. A lot of searching gave a result, I found wonderful recorder, named HTC Call Recorder Widget. It's soft can record calls from line and offer to record every call. Little pop-up button appear on phone screen and you can push it in any time. I'll share .apk to community, maybe it'd be useful

Thanks. This works for my HTC Magic running CM7. But, it records only a 15 seconds clip. Is it some kind of trial version or something?

"Pressy" (clone-like) button.

Hi,
A co-worker just give me a chinesse (clone-like) "Pressy" button (it is called "Klick").
My problem is with the camera fast capture. When I press the button in the lockscreen (or even with the phone locked), the system tries to take a photo, but when I review it in the gallery, is all black :crying:
I think that you cannot take a photo without launching the camera app. It's a pitty. So no luck for me. Any ideas?.

Solved. It was a software issue. I've tried with another app and it works now.

HTC Dot View

I really like the HTC Dot View feature, but i can't for the life of me get the voice call part to work it just keeps saying sorry not recognised try again, and i also keep swiping down by accident, is there anyway to stop just this feature of Dot view ?
