root help michigan area

Has anyone in the Michigan area achieved root that is willing to help me out? I'm way to impatient to wait for unrevoked rooting method. I've attempted the process at least 50 times but each time it says device not found.

If only things were as easy as putting a update.zip file on the root of the SD card...miss the Droid in that respect.

Whats best way to successfully root N2

Ive seen people say certain methods aren't good. Who can steer me in best direction on this please.

Im not at my computer right now, but the recommended method of rooting is:
The root toolkit. Its very easy to do bro. Just follow and read.

To be a bit more clear.. There indeed can be many kinds of routes, some can reset your counter, and I believe some don't. Counter is a number that changes if you root your device so T-Mobile knows you messed with it. If your counter gets reset, they can't tell if you rooted or not.
I'm not on the T-Mobile network, so I didn't really care which. Head over to the developer section of this device category and read the thread by 'Simplelife' on how to root! Pick a method best for you. I personally used option 2.

Just picked up 2 of these T-Mo Note 2's last weekend. I just used the Galaxy Note2 ToolKit v3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957720 Just follow the on screen instructions, and make sure you read all the options. It wasn't as easy as unlocking and rooting my Nexus... but all I had to do is click one more option lol!
Thanks everyone for input. I used toolkit v3 and it worked flawlessly. Got root, recovery, and jedi x11. Friggin awesome.

I think the easiest method would be to flash TWRP and then flash superzu via TWRP.

My t989 is network lock(region lock)now if i flash it what happen .it will unlock or

I bring tmobile galaxy s2 in india from america now the question is how i unlock sim lock.i rooted this device if i flash it then it work properly or not ?.i try several other methods but it will not work like
1-i use RegionLock Away app
2-i also use*#197328640#method
I tired now please if any one have idea about to how get this problem over then please let me know. Thanks

This is a free method to carrier unlock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024514
Read the instructions in the opening post very carefully.
It requires being on ICS 4.0.4. Read through the thread from last page back for help finding links that work.
It works, I've done it recently.
If you are referring to flashing a new ROM, then no it would not carrier unlock your device.

[Q] root for verizon t807v?

ok. There are no threads here about any successful rooting of the t807v. There is a site (it kinda looks like a bot) called srsroot that claims it can root the t807v (VRU1ANK1)
Has anyone used srsroot before?
I believe the issue you face is a locked bootloader in typical Verizon fashion if I recall.

What can we do about this? I had no idea I wasn't going to be able to root when I bought this tablet otherwise I wouldn't have. Is there anyway it can be done? I'd pay someone, I mean I'd be willing to give 100$ possibly more... I don't know as much as most around here but I feel like it someone could do it.

if you want root you most likely have to wait until someone finds root for the note 4 or s6 (verizon variants)..
for example, when the verizon s5 was rooted, the root worked for most older versions and devices as well.. I dont think there is many devs working to root this tablet as there are working to root the vzw note 4.

If anyone with a t807v is on the build prior to NK1, let me know or provide us with the .tar file is possible and I think I found a method that would work to root the device.
ping pong root
Ping pong root works wonders to root the verizon s6 edge. I'm guessing they can do something with this piece as well?

Do you think T707v would behave the same? They both have s800 I believe. You can easily find ng7 .tar for t707v.

I wouldn't trust it. If Chainfire had any luck, you would find it posted here on XDA somewhere. I worked with him back in the early WP7 days.

Yeah probably for the Exynos variants
This would definitely work... if you had an unlocked bootloader
