yeah, it's started today doing that. I factory reset it a couple times and it apparently worked, but after a few minutes, it restarted and had a bootloop.
I was doing some research and people are saying the problem is the battery. If you replace it, it should work just fine. Gonna give it a try in a couple days

Hi guys,
my diamond has gone berzerk!
it gave up on me all of a sudden....froze so i tried to restart and didnt work. i did a hard reset and eventually finished. the problem is that the phone wont detect any network, wifi and bluetooth are working but the 'phone' isnt - in comm manager enabling phone appears to do something showing the busy icon but then reverts back to 'off'.
im using hard spl 1.40
radio .25.08
and every rom does this.
the red reset button is also not doing anything more, i.e pressing it does nothing...
ideas???

how much?
after hard reset two time could be normal.
it restarts an infinite number of times - as if it gets stuck in some loop.
its very random so there can be periods of time where its fine and i think its cured itself then all of a sudden it will restart and be fine for a while then sometimes it can just get stuck in a restart loop.
have you find a solution?
i know from my experimentals that loopings are normal by ****ti-mitti-roms.
the rom could be fine, but one deleting file here or there let starts the looping.
try orig. rom from your device. if looping again ... dont know :-(
Maybe this thread can help you out, it's worth trying:

Hello,
today I flashed IceColdSandwich 7.0 on my DHD and when I want to shut my phone down it always does a restart. Anyone knows a fix for this?
cheers,

not sure, but you're probably more likely to get an answer on the support thread for that rom. here:

Sounds like a clock problem. Strange, I know.
Deselect the time auto-update, and change the time and date to something random.
Turn off, pull the battery before it restarts and leave for a few mins.
Battery back in and restart, reselect time auto update and you should be good to go.
Sent from The App that Time Forgot.
Tried your advice twice, phone reboots again and again ^^ Any other solutions? ^^
cheers ;D
I've been having the same issue since installing 7.x on my device. It got so frustrating that I restored a 6.x image via recovery, but unfortunately the problem still exists. The phone never restarted on shutdown previously, so I'm a bit confused as to what is causing the problem.
I did flash Touch Recovery recently, so might go back to ClockWorkMod Recovery to see if that helps.
I need a bit of help with a stock HTC One X. As of this morning it won't boot up. I have made no changes to the ROM, everything is stock.
Tried entering the recovery panel and turning fastboot on then restarting but every time the system stops at the "HTC One" page after making a startup sound. Sometimes the screen will go black and hitting the volume keys will bring up the volume changer but that is it.
There was no warning of an OTA update or anything like that.
When charging the screen stays on and dims, but stays on the "HTC One" screen.
Factory reset HOX and it booted, but next day same issues. This is 3 times I've had to factory reset now.
Every time I restart or cold boot it freezes on the "One X" screen.
This exact same thing has just happened to me! Just 10 minutes ago
I have no idea what to do.
I have not attempted root or anything like that everything is stock (Optus from allphones).
All I did was restart and now I cannot get into the phone.
I can get to those options (fastboot) by holding down the volume down button and the power button but restarting it or powering it off there does not help.
I havn't tried a factory reset yet as I'm scared about loosing all my data.
Can someone please help!
Please please
I'm suprised someone else is having the exact same issue what the hell is happening
Have you tried using the Recovery option from the Bootloader?
Yeah I tried that.
It didn't do anything. I've since done a factory reset. That worked but I've now lost everything
Now that's it's allw whiped I figure I might as well root it and install android revolution. I hope it's just a software thing and this will fix it.

Fair enough, if you're thinking of Rooting and installing ARHD etc then feel free to use my Guide : The Stock to Custom ROM Awesomeness guide
It'll take you from Stock to having ARHD on your phone ok

Took it into HTC last night and had the firmware flashed. No problems now... 12 hours with numerous restarts just to make sure.
It looks like it was a corruption in the software. I noticed HTC turned off the fast boot option before giving the phone back to me. Took 30 minutes in total.
If it happens again, try to hold the power button and the "Homepage" button at the same time. You should see a grey box saying "Continue holding to restart".
Thats a full restart rather than a shell restart.
That may help.

yesterday my phone was having difficulties when I tried answering a call. Today since morning, it was going off when the display got dim. So, I switched it off. This evening, when I switched it on again, it was having the same problem. So, I decided to factory reset. When I tried factory reset, the android icon was on display and after sometime the phone was on a reboot loop. Its trying to reboot automatically till now and failing again and again. what do I do now?

Was your phone running a custom ROM, was it rooted or completely stock...Did you install or do anything to it previous to these weird occurences.
Try flashing your phone with a stock FTF or use Sony PC Companion to repair your phone (it will wipe completely and flash back the latest firmware for your device).
Good luck!

signal lost an continuous rebooting
Hello guys, I realy need your help here.
Some days ago, out of nowhere my fone lost it's signal and started to reboot. The only way of stoping it is waiting while it drain 10% of my battery or more, or forcing shutdown by the OFF back button.
Does any one know what is happening?
I saw lots of posts about this trouble with xperia ZL and xperia Z, but I got no solution from this.
Thank you!
