So my zenfone 2 seems to have an issue if I use adb I can access recovery but if I press the volume up and the power button it just gets stuck on asus bootlogo yet if I turn it on normally it boots up into android I am not sure whats going on is there a way to get the fastboot bootloader back or?
Edit: Problem solved its self bootloader is now working out of no where rebooting from recovery into bootloader worked

I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP Recovery using the OP3 Tool. However now the phone will not boot unless I press the power button a few times. When it does boot I get the "Your device is not safe message", if I boot from here I get the OnePlus logo with the "powered by android" text but then it just shuts off. If I use the volume keys to select something else, I get nothing, the fastboot mode just gets stuck on the fastboot until I turn the device off, recovery just reboots to the "Your device is not safe screen".
Any help would be wonderful

Did you flash anything while you were unlocking the bootloader? The message is shown when the bootloader is unlocked so that is ok. Your phone, however, should turn on by long pressing the power button. You're getting a bootloop, If I were in such a situation I'd use the fastboot mode to flash the stock firmware again to get the phone working...

Awesome! Enjoy :good:
Hi,
I've got a Asus Zenfone Selfie, and I'am trying to root it. So for that I downgraded to Android 5 to unlock the bootloader (because I didn't see that their was a tool for android 6), and then I flashed TWRP on my phone in fastboot mode. I then try to boot in the TWRP menu by holding power and volume -, but it does something weird :
1- vibrates
2-displays the asus logo
3-and then it reboots before i can access the TWRP menu and starts normally
I'll try to update to Android M and redo everything, to see if TWRP will launch correctly, but right now, I think I need your help
try to enter recovery by Volume - Power, then side load the firmware.
I updated my robin yesterday to Lineage OS (the latest one) successfully on twrp and tried flashing gapps nano (which gave me an error). Now it is stuck on the boot screen and when I try using the volume keys to enter either fastboot or recovery, nothing happens!!
I tried adb and fastboot while it is in the booting screen and it is not detected.
Have I forever screwed this up?
Btw I cant shut it down either, so I have to wait for the battery to drain out.

Did you try the volume down + power button (for about 20 sec) until the bootloader screen appears ?
If you can't go at the bootloader screen manually and without ADB , you can always try to wait until the battery drains out , the plug the phone to a charger and try to get to the bootloader screen.
Good luck

That's the thing, I just can't gain access to the phone! Not recognized on ADB and can't enter bootloader nor recovery!!!
It prompts me to use the volume buttons since the bootloader it says has been unlocked, but it boots into the AICP logo anyway and stays until the battery drains out.
When I plug it in I'm already pressing volume down and power and it still does not work.
HELP!!
Hey,
I was tinkering with me phone the past days.
I managed to unlock the bootloader on my Realme X2, installed twrp and HavocOs with the COS Vendor.
Everything working fine and well. Then i wanted to back to the stock rom and i installed the stock recovery found in this page with fastboot:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x2/how-to/to-stock-rom-howto-t4014773
Specifically the following one: "rmx1991-sde20-stock_recovery-c14.zip"
The problem is now that the phone is not booting anymore. It's not responding to volume down and power button to enter bootloader mode.
I only see the first Realme logo and then the screen goes black. When i hold volume button up and the power button, the phone reboots and i see the same Realme logo for a few seconds and after that the screen goes black again..
When i put the phone on the charger the screen stays black.
Thanks guys! I hope someone can help me solve this issue!
Does anyone have any clue what's going on and maybe willing to assist?
Edit 1: so I managed to get in to the bootloader again. When I hold power button and both volume buttons the phone restarts in bootloader mode. It's still unlocked. The strange part is that the phone stays in the bootloader mode for like 20 seconds and then just reboots. Any clues why and how I can prevent that?
I just faced the same trouble, with your hint to boot into fastboot i flashed the twrp.

First of all dude, since your bootloader is not unlocked how you can access it's fastboot mode!? I don't get it. Also, you simply cannot root your device without unlocking your bootloader since it requires fastboot mode to work.
Well, if you can access your stock recovery mode by vol+Power button I recommend you to format data and install latest package from Realme software download website! Or service centre is the final option!
If your phone is stuck on the Realme logo and never boots and only restarts and shows logo again in a continuous circle then press and hold volume+ and power button until the phone shuts down. Then press volume- and power button and hold until you get into fastboot mode.
From fastboot then use the1) volume button to select Recovery 2) then press the power button to go to recovery 3) then select how you want to flash the stock rom (either download ROM from internet, flash from ROM saved on you phones storage)
