Hello , my name is seb, i'm new here. I recently bought a head unit , i 've just updated the firmware with Malaysk ROM RK3066 1024*600 (my device was sold 1024*600)
It updated perfectly but when it launched , i 'have big icons and display problem .
Maybe i didn't take the good firmware ?
Can someone help me please ?

After flashing with "compatible" rom the screen only stay blank (sensors and TS are working)
Please help me to find only one compatible ROM or Stock Firmware

I have KGL 3066 1024x600 unit but when i upgraded Malaysk march firmware somethings strange happened :
wifi , bluetooth , GPS & USB ports not working at all !!!????
all other functions are working normal , I tried to go back to stock firmwares 4.4.4 , 4.4.2, and even 4.2.2 jelly bean with no hope i tried almost all mcu from 1.77 till 2.83 and nothing changed , on every firmware i erased every thing before and after flashing
then i tried Malaysk April firmware and nothing happened.
I noticed that there is no serial number or wifi mac address on all firmwares i tried
i am really depressed with my unit plz i need help

Hi! I\m facing the same issue and I need the jelly bean 4.2 update file, once I wrongly try to upgrade without saving the original unit's files update and mcu. Could youy please send to me the files you have so I can try to resurrect my unit? Thanks! Kind regards Anderson
Hi all, I have recently purchased a LETV X800 from Aliexpress. Seller said he will ship with international firmware but i've read that it comes with some viruses and malware.
First thing when i get the phone I want get it on the original firmware, as long as it has English! Can i flash the latest firmware from here? Or could you give me the right link to download the firmware?
Any tips on how to flash the original firmware on the X800?
First of all, you have to find out what kind of phone you get ! The CN model or the US version. Only then you know what firmware you can flash (or not !).

Is it recommended to move to the latest EUI5.8.017S firmware? I am currently on EUI5.5.0.13s

Does anyone know what the difference is between the SOW firmware and the UK firmware?
I have the UK model with build number P2a42_S056_161130_UK and I am tempted to downgrade to P2a42_S048_161111_ROW, so I can OTA to P2a42_S062_170117_ROW. But I am not sure if it is a good idea - especially because I don't know what the model difference is.
Any help is appreciated.
I also have the S056_161130_UK rom out of the box. Better stay with it I doubt there are any differences​between the two roms.

There are no hardware differences among european models except of RAM/ROM quantity. i.e. 3GB/32GB in Italy, Spain, 4GB/32GB in Poland, 4GB/64GB mainly in Germany.
As soon as you have model signed P2a42 you can mess with firmwares as you wish
I flashed from 056 to 062 .. well its 048 but soon as it connects to internet it says an update to 062 is available . No major difference as far as i could see . Various issues are still there too , so i'd say stay as ya are ken

How did you manage to upgrade?
I tried any of the following (duly renamed to update.zip and put on a microsd) in recovery mode but after a few second at 0% progress I get a generic error and the process stops...
