How did you install xposed ? Did you install it through recovery ?

I flashed xposed-v80-sdk21-arm64.zip via TWRP custom recovery.
Installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
I downloaded the modules and activated them.
Rebooted and nothing happened.

Nexus 10 5.1.1 installing xposed problem

Hi, I have nexus 10 stock, rooted. I've tried to install xposed framework on my device with no success. I've flashed the latest zip from the xposed for lollipop thread. I've also tried to install the app, but after installing the app, the fields inside the installer to install the framework are not active (can't press). What's the correct way to do it? Need help please.

Nexus 5x Xposed With CM13

Before I upgraded to my nexus 5x a couple of months ago, I had a nexus 5 and it was running cyanogenmod with xposed.
Right when I got my nexus 5x, I immediately unlocked the bootloader, rooted and started running CM13. I tried to install xposed on it but I figured it wasnt out yet so I eventually gave up. I recently came across a video on youtube of a guy installing xposed on his Nexus 5x; I followed his exact steps and xposed says the framework still isn't installed.
When I open the xposed installer, it tells me that there still isn't a framework out for my phone, I do not know what I am doing wrong, or if I am even doing anything wrong.
On Marshmallow, if you want to run Xposed, you have to install it manually through recovery, such as TWRP.
This is the proper zip to install: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip
I do have the same problem.
Got a brand new Nexus 5x and startet with unlocking bootloader, installing TWRP, installing latest snapshot CM13.
Everything was working fine.
After that I tried to install xposed framework via TWRP. Installer runs "successfully", on reboot android does the optimization,... but when I open the Xposed installer I still get the message that the framework is not compatible.
What am I doing wrong?

Installed full 3.2.8, help with xposed?

So I wont say I tried everything but have been reading and trying solutions and they havent worked for me. Maybe someone can point me in a different right direction. So far I clean installed 3.2.8(twice btw), I'm fastbooting into twrp 3.0.2-1, flashed supersu 2.78 SR4 and flashed xposed framework v87.
Sometimes xposed framework v87 flashes in twrp and when I open xposed installer it says xposed framework is not installed. I attempt to then unintstall and try again and sometimes it fails in twrp with this message "cp: cant create '/system/xposed.prop':Read-only file system". I attached a screenshot. I'm also running xposed installer 3.1.1, also tried 3.0.1 by dvdandroid. Any suggestions?
Have you tried Magisk and Systemless Xposed?

I'm using it on 3.2.8 currently and all works well so far.
Here's how I did it: Clean flashed 3.2.8 using sideload with official recovery, then booted twrp-3.0.2-1 (from twrp.me), flashed Magisk v9 and flashed the phh-superuser. After booting into android, installed phh's SuperUser from Playstore, and installed Magisk Manager, then installed Xposed systemless arm64 sdk23 using the inbuilt downloader (or use the zip on the thread).

Thanks it all worked and went green except when I tried to download the systeless arm64 sdk23 from within magisk manager. I ended using a test1 version and it went through. Now I wasnt even planning on using magisk but how are you using magisk? When I used it before it was for android pay but I thought that all broke.
Installing xposed breaks SafetyNet anyways and I have no use of Android pay or Pokemon Go etc.
But, with magisk I can install and mod system files without making changes in the system partition like dpi, Viper, SystemUI mods etc. I really like it for the ease of that.
I have installed Xposed on 3.2.8 with a success from the beginning. Steps I've taken:
1. Dirty flashing full zip OOS 3.2.8.
2. Flashing systemless SuperSU from Chainfire (you have to:
Code:
echo SYSTEMLESS=true >> /data/.supersu
for systemless).
3. Flashing Xposed v87-test version, which now disappeared from dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/
4. Flashing ElementalX 0.28.
I was upgrading from 3.2.6.

OxygenOS 3.2.7 with v87.1 Magisk version installed. Got stuck at boot animation when dirty flashing to oos 3.2.8. Any ideas? Is there compatibility problem with xposed modules?
I would use a newer recovery, twrp-3.0.2-23-oneplus3 is the latest and I've had zero issues with it. I uploaded it to drive vs searching for it. Next, as stated, install Xposed via the app, version 3.0.1 by dvdandroid is what I'm using and after selecting arm64 api23 , granting root, it installs, reboot and done.

Cannot Install Xposed on OOS 3.2.8

I recently had to clean flash OOS 3.2.8. Some how after flashing, i could get SuperSU working but Xposed wasn't being installed. On TWRP, its says successfully installed but in the APK it says Not Installed.
I searched online came across different articles but couldn't find a solution.

Which version of the Xposed did you try?
Use the official v87 from rovo89 and use the Xposed installer 3.1.1 to do that. If you use the installer, it will automatically download the correct version of Xposed for your phone and install it. Then reboot.

Edit: There's the installer apk and the xposed framework zip.

[SOLVED] Viper4Android not working

V4A is not working for me can anyone help me to get it working.
I have SuperSU root I flashed a flashable zip and also tried installing as normal app. When I open the V4A I see drivers were not installed. When I manually try to install the drivers. It says I have wrong busybox or not rooted properly. But I have installed the Stericson busybox and rooted with SuperSU.zip.
Update: Finally the problem is solved. I don't know how it got solved but i followed allmost all things in this thread
