I want to root my asus ZenFone 2. I'm pretty much a beginner for rooting. I've tried using kingroot but it says that my phone is not supported. I've tried atleast 3 other methods but all of them have failed. What do you think I should do???

Is it possible to root zenfone 2 without pc? Beacuse my pc doesn't detect my phone when i connect him. I have installed all drivers and have the newest version of marshmallow.
I want to be able to:
. Use apps on my G5 that require root such as AdAway, Titanium etc. and potentially Xposed.
. Uninstall systems apps
Can I root my phone without unlocking the bootloader first? How would I do this?

No its impossible
Bootloader needs to be unlocked
In this this forum I am getting information about How to unlock bootloader of Z2 Plus(Indian Edition). But I just wanted two things, first is Root my device and Second is Installing TWRP. Should I just escape the unlock bootloader step and follow the rest? Or I have to do all steps to root my device?
For root you must unlock bootloader, install TWRP and then install SuperSU or Magisk. There is no other way to get root.
