Does anybody else have lag on mobile on this site? I swear I've had choppy scrolling and small freezes on XDA for a few years now, even changing from the S4 to the G4. Android Central's mobile site yields very similar results.
Why is it that many websites load and scroll just fine, but it seems as if certain mobile sites in the world don't play nice?
what browser?
im using opera mobile without any problems.

I have downloaded the java version of Stickam Mobile to my Dash phone from http://m.stickam.com I am not able to see my friends cam feeds. It acts like it will load and then the screen is black. I see their chat but no video. What must I do for this to work?
Anyone that can help?
You could always get skyfire. That browser impresses me. I've tested stickam.com and the live video loads great.
Are there any hardware accelerated browsers available for Android currently, other than the Samsung browser? I'm not sure whether the Opera Mobile 10.1 beta uses it, it was talked about a lot months ago but talk of such has since stopped. Additionally, Opera Mobile hasn't been updated since mid-November, and still has a lot of quirks (scrolling in general isn't optimized, text input boxes/soft keyboard behavior is annoying, incorrect page rendering etc). But either way, general panning and pinch-to-zoom is still noticeably smoother than with the stock browser, and it's got me looking for other options, which I can't find.
From what I know, Stock, Miren, Firefox, Dolphin, and Skyfire all don't use it either.

Stock Sense browser is indeed accelerated, Dolphin HD is as well. Skyfire is in a way, just not on the phone side of things in that all the web pages are rendered on the server side. Pretty sure Opera uses it both in the Mobile and Mini versions though I'm like you and hate the quirky behavior of it.
When zooming out in the stock browser theres the overshooting animation which makes the browser seem very slow, especially in flash intensive sites, is there any way to remove it?

maybe opera mobile is a better choice, it's really fast
Opera doesn't support flash
Use Dolphin HD - it's great
I used it for the last 5 month and is handles well all flash related and zooming options.
It also has a few addons like bookmark to sd card and others.
That overshooting animation is a pain in the ass. Im at 1.2GHz, and the only time it isn't painfully laggy is on google.com.

Opera Mini is far the fastest browser on the earth... but that version doesnt support flash,if you want flash go for Opera mobile .
review of dolphin hd
Performance
Dolphin HD may offer a good browsing experience, but it's a bit slower than other mobile browsers. To test the Dolphin HD's speed we loaded several websites heavy with images plus Java and/or Flash elements using the Motorola Droid X and a 3G connection.
The full version of Laptopmag.com took an average of 21.7 seconds to load; that time was the slowest of the lot, but not by much. Skyfire took 20.7 seconds, and the stock Android browser took 21.3 seconds. With NYTimes.com, Dolphin fared better, loading the page in an average of 15 seconds, fast enough to beat Skyfire (18.3 seconds) and a hair behind the stock browser (14.7 seconds). Regardless, Opera Mini loaded those two pages in 5.7 and 6.3 seconds, respectively.

I have a rooted Incredible now running Gingerbread. I have found that some web pages formatted for android or mobile don't allow zooming either by pinch or on screen function. I tried the same pages with stock, Skyfire and Dolphin browsers. Google news for example. Or Droid Life mobile.
Let me know your thoughts.
Instagram's Official app for windows 10 mobile is now dead and It says to use Instagram in the browser. Thankfully, they have now added very important feature of "Direct Message" in Instgram's mobile site.
Using Instagram in browser, doesn't feel that cool. So, I came up with this app ( just took 10 min. to get developed ). This app does nothing but loads the Instagram mobile site in full screen mode, so the absence of the address bar gives you a more app like feeling, so that looks cool.
Still, the app that was previously available had more features than the current website. We can always use some clients available in Microsoft store, but then we have to deal with their bugs and have to sacrifice the Instagram like UI experience.
If you are happy with what the Instagram mobile site is offering, then you should start using Instagram in this app.
