any way to flash ROM s on 815P ?

hey guys
i have 815P model and i cant unlock it , there is anyway to install Custom ROms on it ?
No . If Your bootloader is locked u cant. U just can flash kdz root it on 5.1 and use xposed and things like that. But no custom roms.
Goddamn!
I just got an 815P a few days ago and I thought it would be a normal simple procedure to root/unlock like my S3, but I can't seem to find anything either. The LG developer website will unlock the 815 bootloader but not the 815P. I've read about rooting the 815 (all versions?, does that include the 'P'?) but they're for older firmwares 10c etc.. I'm on 20D.
Is there no hope then I wonder?

G4 how to root it? (dont understand whats with bootloader and so)

Hello there, i got an LG G4 h815 few days ago, when ever i get new device first thing i do is root it, and it was always very easy for me.
with this g4 i got problems, try to go to LG website and unlock bootloader, it say i cant cause my device is h815 taiwan, so i read more in google and understand official unlock is only for the euro devices.
so i google more try to understand how can i unlock it unofficially, and found nothing, as well as try to google for a way to root it with out unlock bootloader, and also coulnt find.
im sure im missing something, cause i dont think its possible that there is no root for an old device, any help on how to root my phone?
thanks a head.
Lots of people here have H815 TWN...please can some one make a specific thread for rooting or installing xposed on Taiwanese H815 without the risking of bricking or bootlooping the device...meaning successful rooting ...

unfortunatelly you cant unlocked till today.. maybe later if someone can do it... but you can add root to locked bootloader... i have not tried this method.. i tried similar to h811 tmobile.. but its the same procedure.. mine is unlockacle but i dont want to with the bootloop issue... unlocking bootloader voids warranty. and root too but you can always try the kdz that disables the big cores and undo the root..

thank you, i found the root for locked bootloader, i done it, but its only for 5.1 android, and i still cant flash roms, only one rom witch they make for locked bootloader, so after all the process went back to unroot 6.0 androis >:
hope some1 will break this bootlock .

Bootloder unlock

How can I bootloder unlock my lg g4 "TWN"
my phone does not support bootloder unlock
so what can I do?
You can wait or do some research and write a bootloader unlock tool for everyone
...we are all waiting :/
You would probably be waiting indefinitely. It does not look like there will ever be a bootloader unlock for the G4's which are locked.

you can root yours if it is dual sim model . Forget unlocked bootloader .
My H818P is rooted with Lollipop.
But to Be honest, I'd rather have an unlocked bootloader :/
No root on MM and up is a pain.

Not sure but i think not possible, check General and development section please.
You can still root...I have h815 twn model, running 5.1 rooted...if you are on MM you need to use LGUP tool to downgrade to LP and then flash the rooted fw with flashfire...there are YouTube vids on it, just search

Rooting H815T Marshmallow

Hey all. So basically I recently purchased the H815T Australian optus model. It was initially on Lollipop but updated to MM & I need root so I can restore all my data from my previous device but seems I need to unlock the bootloader. Unfortunately it couldn't be done because the H815T isn't supported on the LG unlocking website. Is there another way to unlock the bootloader or rooting it? Please help guys, I really need to retrieve my data but can't do so till there is a method to root. Or would I have to downgrade to Lollipop & root? I'd immensely appreciate some assistance with this, cheers.

Thanks for your help. I really enjoy being on Marshmallow so don't really want to downgrade. Thankfully I got most of my whatsapp messages through google drive backup & most of the other apps did have some form of cloud storage. I'm gonna stick to MM till a rooting method does eventuate.
