Hi.
First of all I want to thank everyone for their effort.
I just installed Android Kitkat 4.4 on my Samsung Wave 2 phone from this thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2800014 , and I was wondering if it is possible to get a couple of apps installed or even Google Play itself since it's missing from the OS or I don't know how to enable it?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

Just install google apps, it makes phone laggy but add playstore.
All infos are in OP.
Other method is to install apk manually with adb or a file explorer.

I've done a lot of searching but haven't been able to come up with much, so was hoping someone would have an idea.
So first of all, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 wifi version running lollipop and the fantastic Iron Rom.
I have wanam and xposed running okay. And I have tried adding apps using the multi window option in wanam but after rebooting they don't get added.
http://ak.5v.pl/strony.html
I've tried an app called mw commander but that just closes while attempting to load. I've tried a number of other apps but nothing has worked so far.
Hoping someone can help me out.
Thanks all.
Anyone have any ideas?

Oh that's interesting. I may do but I'm really happy with iron rom at the moment. Was just wondering if there was a solution.

Hi, I have tried several apps from Google Play store and I was succesful with MultiWindow Commander [ROOT] from XperiacleApps. It is a paid app, though. Anyway, it worked with IronROM. In description, it says that it is compatible with Lollipop and it really is. Please note that there is also similar unpaid app from the same developer but it is for pre-Lollipop ROMs.
I was not able to find any free solution, and I have tried several of them.

Thanks for the help, as I mentioned in my original post I've tried that one and it just closes right after opening. So I'm at a bit of a loss at the moment.

Anybody knows, how can we remove chinese words in apps like phone dialer, U Health, GT Browser?
Can we find all apps in english?
Can we use Z1 international apps in our device?
You can delete most of them and replace with Play Store apps.

I deleted the browser and replaced with Chrome. The dialer is fine with me.
@OP
For me the ultimate solution would be either installing a custom Rom or if/when Lenovo release a global Stock Rom.

Problem solved. It's a modified version of the system, these apps have been removed and when installing them manually they didn't work.
You can install the original ROM, without having to root or anything, just google for '[HOWTO] Flash a Stock ZUI ROM (ZUK Z2 Pro Z2121 only!)', should be the first result.
make sure to use method 2, method 1 won't work, put the downloaded files in folders with short names on C:\ and don't use space or any symbols in the folder names. Also download the files from the link of the second method, not the first one, the password for the archive is
club.lenovo.com.cn

The system will be in chinese, with english available (for english language go to settings, then the option with the cog symbol, then second option, then first option), the translation for other languages were horrible anyway. You will have the newest version of the software with all the app, including U-Health etc. You will also be able to get future updates on the phone itself, which isn't possible with the 'international ROM'. Also stuff like permission manager will work, but you have to install the google apps yourself, which is very easy after googling for a tutorial.

Thank you.
I did it and my phone works. Beautiful.
On the other, only a question.
When I try to check if there is a new upgrade a message appears in my mobile.
The message said: Your mobile has been root, isn't available upgrade.
Do you know if the mobile is rooted when you do the flashing with the method that you posted.
Thanks advanced.
Why these chinese manufacturer put Chinese on their devices even on international model.
Very frustrating.

I don't get that message, for me it just says 'No Update available' and Rootchecker also says, that I don't have root access.
Maybe the shop you bought it from rooted it? You could try unrooting it.
Also when you want to update with the System Update app, you need to be connected to a chinese VPN

If the shop rooted it then it likely has a reseller ROM.
Has anyone found a method of controlling which apps start at boot? The xposed module BootManager worked well, but what do you use with Nougat?
Thanks everyone!

Sadly, this isn't being offered in custom roms. I've requested it. I am using "All in One" Toolbox available in the Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...box&pcampaignid=APPU_1_ftTNWOKcB4-9jwT_4KWYCA
I use SD Maid Pro, it's a must-have application from the Play Store. Allows you to force stop applications, stop applications from running on boot with root & much much more ! It's a great application I prefer it over boot manager. Also allows you to clean up excess junk in your device. Give it a shot it's an excellent application !

+1 to autostarts for Nougat.
Strangely I had already tried autostarts (indeed a classic), only to have it force close on me the first time I opened it. Reading your post made me think it must've been a fluke. I re-installed and indeed it worked just fine.
