Loading new sites with video and ads will introduce stutter, where input is unresponsive for a second or two. Haven't tried true flagships lately so I'm not sure if this is normal behavior. Looking forward to root to install AdAway to alleviate these issues.
Adaway is the first thing I installed once I had root.
Haven't had any lag with browsing, but I do find the notification pulldown can lag quite noticeably sometimes. A little bit annoying.
Almost everything else is pretty smooth (and I'm quite fussy)

no lag. works well. With time it get slow but a factory reset time to time the option to get back on track

I didn't even think of scrolling smoothness until I saw this. Well, it excels. I tried scrolling up and down at crazy speed on a few fairly heavy websites and it breezed through. Then I tried a website laden with pop up videos, images and articles. The first scrolling was very fast with a few momentary hiccups as things were loading. After that no more hiccups, just pure awesomeness. Actually the scrolling smoothness is phenomenal
Yep I feel the same, have tried scrolling thru multiple media filled pages and it hasn't had any noticeable lag. Haven't had a single problem overall with this tab so far.
