I'm trying to update my Moto 360 (1st Gen) but it just won't, it's been over a week so is there anyway I can force 1.4? I tried using the methods that worked for 1.3 but still nothing.
Nothing here, my watch show 5.1.1 and system updated. My phone is on 5.0.1 version. Could this be a problem? Should I update to 5.1.1 on phone ? Think that google recognize my system as not in 5.1.1 and cannot upgrade the watch to 6.0.1 unless I install 5.1.1 on my galaxy
Why don't you just wait until it is pushed?
Features like Doze and new ambient mode makes me want asap

Your watch can of course have a higher android version than you phone and they can still be compatible with each other.

I just received my new 360 from Motorola, shipped from China. I am trying to update it from 4.4w.2 to 5.0.1 through Settings>About>System Updates and only get a quick "Checking" and the the System is up to date with check mark. After that quick gyration, the 360 is still on 4.4w.2 Build KNX01S
Could the problem be I am using a Galaxy Nexus running Lollipop 5.0.2 ROM, yes a Galaxy Nexus?
I have reset, unpaired and gone through that process with no luck.
Thanks
I'm having moto e, and I've unlocked the bootloader and downgraded it to KitKat 4.4.4 because I tried lollipop soak test 5.0.2 in my phone and faced some problems.. Now I'm getting official OTA update for 5.1 and I need to use the official lollipop build for moto e. Should I update it or not.. Because already I've bricked my phone on downgrading to 4.4.2 and then updating it to 4.4.4 Will the same thing happen again if I update it to 5.1 from 4.4.4 ???
Thanks in advance :good:

Hey folks,
Somehow my 2013 Nexus 7 w/ LTE got skipped on updates. It is still running 4.4.4. This is even after a device reset recently, which I thought may "kick" the update to occur. It is not rooted or running any custom ROMs. So I will just need to do this on my own. I bought the device directly from Google and had it on the Verizon network for the last year or two, if that means anything.
So now I am looking to manually update it to 5.1 and beyond.
1) Will I be able to go directly from 4.4.4 to the most recently 5.1 release (I saw something with a Stagefright fix was recently release by Google), or will I need to go from 4.4.4 to 5.0 to 5.1?
2) Should the directions to install the releases be similar to those I frequently see that explain how to install a new update before Google OTA's it?
Thanks for the assistance!
Does anyone else use Android Auto on their Note 4? I updated to Marshmallow before buying a car that has Android Auto built in, and I can't get it to work. The android auto site specifically mentions trouble with Samsung phones on Marshmallow working with Android Auto, and that there's a software update from Samsung that should fix it.
I really like the new Marshmallow update, but seeing as how we just got Marshmallow, does that mean it's either 5.1.1 with Android Auto, or Marshmallow with no support?
NEVERMIND! Turns out the EPH7 update fixes Android Auto. Psyched!!!
How can I force my Moto 360 V2 sport to update to 6.0.1? It is on 5.1.1 and says that it is updated to latest version when I check for updates. I have restored to factory defaults and reinstalled the Android Wear app on my phone. No update to Marshmallow is available for my watch.
