Hi,
I tried connecting my bluetooth with my car (2003, bmw e46), the pairing works, but it keeps disconnecting and I can't receive any calls thru my car.
From what I've read, there is an issue with the bluetooth stack that was changed in android 4.2? Can I patch/edit it somehow so it can work?
Found a similar guide here (for the same car), but didn't manage to make the edits.

Finally managed to apply the fix in the url above and works perfectly.

Hello Everyone,
I have a Note 3 Neo 7500Q ( Turkey Version). I am overall satisfied with the phone, but when I try to connect to my multimedia car kit via bluetooth, I have problems. It pairs up with the kit, but neither my nor the other parts voice is transmitted. I tried to every way without luck. Does anyon else has or had the same problem? Is there a way to overcome this issue? All kinds of help is appriciated.
I use the BT car kit all the time, with no issues whatsoever. My unit is a Parrot MK9200 or something. It is 4 years old, can't remember the exact model number. Phone calls, music streaming etc. works fine.
Here are a few suggestions you might try:
1) When I had the Parrot initially, 4/10 the phone was failing to connect over the Bluetooth. I upgraded the Firmware of the Parrot. Ever since, no connection issues. Check whether your Bluetooth unit has a FW update!
2) When the phone pairs with the car the first time, it asks for permisson to access the Phone book, logs etc. Mark "Always yes". That might be your problem.
So I'm running cloudy G3 on my D850, but this doesnt seem to be specific to that ROM, since nobody else has reported it.
My issue is that once I connect to my car radio, it connects and works perfectly, but once I turn the car off and it disconnects, the saved bluetooth connection disappears and I'll have to go through the pairing process all over again. Anybody have issues similar to this? I know the bluetooth stack in 5.0 is buggy and I'm sure its related to that.
hello everyone,
I just installed a SEICANE chinese android head unit in my Fiat Ducato from 2017.
I connected the ISO port directly to the 2 connectors from the car, I've first tried to use a power harness including the CanBus decoder, but then the HU is dead. Without harness , the HU works (I guess the car already has a CanBus built in?).
The radio works very well. Also Wifi works well, I can surf on the Internet. But some apps I can not download (using Play Store). For example when I try to download TomTom GO, the HU tells me that there is no Wifi (although there actually IS Wifi!). Other apps are no problem to download (I've "fixed" this problem by installing Sygic i.o. TomTom).
I paired my Samsung XCover3 via Bluetooth and also problems: when I try to make a phone call, sometimes it goes to handsfree (like it should), but sometimes it does not (although the phone display opens on the HU). I did the pairing 10 times , but no difference. I also tried to make an Internet connection using Hotspot or tethering, but that also does not work.
I resetted the HU, but no improvement.
Does somebody knows these problems (and has sollutions to it)?
Regards,
Peter
Hello everyone, I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
I updated my rom to "Johny DJ" MicroG apps 5.1.1, everything is working except bluetooth seems a bit strange, on the Bluetooth app I cannot see any connected devices, or I cannot search for any devices, but I can connect to it from my phone, if I make a call I can hear it though the car, but the app still does not see the phone, so I cannot search for any contacts.
Additionally it also means I cannot connect a OBD2 because I cannot see it through the unit.
The only Bluetooth that work is the WQ_BC5, can it be an issue with the bluetooth manager.apk and that specific module?
Had anyone else had this issue?
Thanks
Hello, I have some problems with the bluetooth connection to my Seat Leon (2016). Pairing worked fine but once I return to my car only the A2DP profile gets connected. In the car menu media control is working correctly but the phone part is shown as disconnected. The bluetooth connection state in the phone settings shows "connected (no phone)" then.
To fix this I have to manually disconnect and reconnect bluetooth on the phone - afterwards everything is working as expected. This is very annoying though and I had no such issues with my previous Nexus 6P (stock 8.1).
Any suggestions? If there is no solution I try to fix this with tasker, however I'd clearly prefer a "native" solution.
Thanks in advance.
Seems like it's working with the app Bluetooth Auto Connect, will test it more intensively in the next days. But I'm still wondering why it's not working out of the box...
